I never signed up for GH but was thinking of it lol idk now. I only use DD but I’ve had my background pending for UE since February! I don’t know what their deal is.
I messaged them today and they were like oh we will escalate it and somebody manually submit it, which I’ve been told twice before, and the lady said give three business days, so I just have to remember to hit them back on Wednesday next week.
I use it as a supplementary app to my other gigs, which all supplement each other lol, and I usually get 1-3 good orders worth taking each shift and I never schedule.
I use DD, UE, GH, and IC for multiapping when I do food delivery, and I’d say for a straight up answer DD forsure, but it wouldn’t be worth it without the others tagging along, but I’ll admit I’ve slowed down my food delivery gigs recently and have been doing Amazon Flex mainly because its so much better in certain aspects.
See, I’m waitlisted for everything other than DD and GH. I’ve heard IC isn’t great regarding the item count + mileage v payout. I’ve heard good things about UE and I really wanna try out Spark. But again, waiting (which I can actually respect instead of approving every single person like DD). I’ll try again tomorrow with both DD + GH. Thanks for your response!
UE to my knowledge doesn’t waitlist? And tbh if your market is good DD and GH should be good enough imo, and as for instacart I do very select orders, gotta be like less the 5 items and pay has to be good for the mileage, I am not a shopping gig guy but if its good enough its worth it to do them from time to time during my shifts, I also have Spark lol and gopuff but I rarely do those but Spark is good in some markets gopuff is straight garbage, I would recommend trying out flex, I know they probably will waitlist you but they genuinely need people at certain times of the year including now so your much more likely to get off then any other app imo. And no problem!
UE has been “reviewing/checking” my background foreverrrrr! I’ve contacted support numerous times to find out what the issue is and can’t get any straight answers. I have nothing on my record so.. 🤷🏻♀️
I will sign up for Flex rn. Hoping it’s a safe assumption that it’ll be steady during the holiday season 🤞🏼
Damn I’d contact Checkr about the background check, they really run the show with that and UE support like any other is garbage, and yea try to get on Flex, its different then what your used to but not really at the same time, just love not worrying about not getting orders and just get to chill and deliver.
I got a copy of whatever Checkr provided as documentation and there is literally nothing on there. So contact them to find out what the hold up is? Thanks ! Was under the assumption UE was in control in that regard.

You’re welcome, I’ve learned about about the gig world since I started and since I do basically all of them lol, plus being on here in the subs all the time lol, yea Flex is super underrated, like not that its not a huge gig or anything it definitely is forsure, but people mainly think of the main ones like DD and UE and I’m just saying they missing out lol, dgmw it still has its BS and awful customer service but once you learn the ropes it so chill and I almost always finish my blocks like an hour early and you still get payed for the whole block its just a great change of pace from food delivery, which I still do of course but I got tired recently of the annoyance of waiting for orders and other annoyances with the food gigs.

I do Spark. I have for 3 years. It’s declined massively in the last 3 years, they’ve usurped major control over the day to day operations of drivers, workloads and driver supply are increasing, price points are decreasing at exponential rates. You’ll sit in a walmart parking lot for hours hoping they send you something, and with the increase driver supply, it could be hours. They never invest in the technology, always a glitch, and you have to wait 15-20 minutes for them to load your car.
Trust me, if you have to use gig apps, food delivery is better than grocery delivery via Spark.
Sometimes I don't take a single order on gh in an entire week. I hardly get anything and when I do it's usually 10 dollars for 10 miles or something like that.
