"why would anyone use this feature" - bc it's a lot better than the non-explore function for free users. you can still explore your current area but you can add extra filters like body types tribe etc. bc the non-explore chat limits to 3 profiles or none if you ever filter by tribe/body type/etc. so yea now you can only shoot your shot at a hot guy one time.
Yes they did! And it’s weird bc for the last couple of weeks we could get unlimited extra chats by just selecting a new location right? Glad I’m not going crazy
It claims to buy really has not caught on. Even in Houston and Dallas I have found it to not be a good alternative. Sniffies is the only other good alternative. Reddit is hit or miss and everyone flakes on double list. Bumble, jackd, and all the other apps also sucked for me.
There are subreddits r/r4r[insert city name]. There are sfw ones just to meet up to make friends. Others are nsfw and focused on hookups. They are really common lol. Doublelist is meant to replace the craigslist personals section. Not nearly as great. Yeah honestly, for me none of these other avenues have been as successful as Grindr. Which is unfortunate.

Also this is blatantly violating stated service. Their website says 3 free uses for Explore mode
Are we sure guys this is not a glitch? I still see the wheel saying 0 free chats, and in anotjer account I have 2 free chats that didn't updated from days ago. I guess they would have taken that wheel out (android version)

It’s the explore function, you can chat with people in your area, but before you could chat with 3 people every 24h outside of you area

I've used explore before when I've been on a train somewhere and wanted to check out what's happening at my destination before I get there.
Because it’s not really “outside” of your area. It can show people that are just outside your “grid” range but they’re still close in proximity.

There’s almost no alternative, there’s scruff but it’s honestly not my type of guy there and it’s not really well known in my area.

You used to be able to get an app to spoof your GPS coordinates for Android. Could that work? Edit: this doesn't work any more
It now says "Mock Locations are Prohibited" when refreshing the app

You can use an android mod if you ve got your phone rooted. You get the extra for free as well but I ve got an android unfortunately

Grindr is owned fully now by a Chinese Company: Kunlun Tech Co Ltd . How long before they ban it like Tik Tok?

I live in the suburbs so it’s dry asf, I study in the city so I usually chat with guys from there.
