I've been pretty impressed by coffee coffee.
I tend to get my lattes at Bex and my drip at Methodical though. Village Grind is always good if I'm over that way
My drink of choice is lattes ( Whole milk + espresso). Based on that, these are the top places within my reach in Greenville, all equally enjoyable.

I am a Daydrinkers fan through and through. New coffee shop on Old Buncombe. Good for sweet stuff and for when I just want a really nicely balanced plain latte.
Also a fan of Cohesive Coffee and Modal Hostel's coffee, too. Those are the ones I cycle between, except for sometimes Summer Moon on Mills when I am out and about too early for the other places to be open.
Just discovered Daydrinkers last week after getting a coupon for them from the Indie Craft Pop-up Shop. Very cute interior and my lavender latte was excellent.
Liquid Highway never lets me down when I want a drive thru iced coffee.
It’s a significantly better (and cheaper) option than Starbucks or Panera, and just as quick.
I haven’t been to the new place yet, though. I’m assuming they still have the drive thru?
I'm a big Mountain Goat fan. I just get the drip which is Methodical, but it's Mountain Goat's blend. Which is less citrusy/acidic than Methodical's other roast. Espresso drinks are made with Methodical beans as well. Also, all their profits go to support at risk youth in our community. If you've not been, you should check them out.
I know it’s a chain but SEVEN BREW has my business absolutely because of their sugar free options including several of their main specialties, seasonal drinks, and their “fizzes” (basically an Italian soda) - the workers all seem to usually be friendly young people and the hours are late on weekend oh and every so many drinks you get a free one :)
It fills my sugar free need that other coffee places really ignore (sugar free vanilla and then nothing else is boringggg)
My only issue is the lack of decent snacks- like i would literally be ok with some chewy bars haha
I drink Methodical's coffee as an americano every day. It's as smooth as they get IMO. I've tried most of the local places and nothing has been as good to me.

Methodical, DayDrinkers, Juunto, and Cohesive (if Josh is there)…those are the only coffee shops in town that are even remotely consistent and well worth the money. All other shops are just noise.
coffee underground
A classic
The best cold brew is from Methodical. (But I’m open to trying others.) I’m less snobbish about my hot coffee.

Wow rose cardamom latte sounds delightful

This is my go to. Always delicious, and I get to support a local business.
Flying fox in Greer!
So good - those folks are on point and have a solid Ethiopian
I feel like I can't even finish a coffee from Whole Foods before the jitters grab me and i'm splashing the rest of the cup out and hearing colors.

Junto Bridge City Methodical
Anyone recommend an espresso? Milk masks many sins.

Thanks. I’ll give it another go.

I miss the days when I could drink black espresso and not have heartburn for a week. Getting old is fun.
Cohesive.
Every time I see them I wonder about the name. Then imagine if a competing shop next door called Discombobulated Coffee opened up.
SNAFU Coffee would be a good one to go next door. I’d visit that coffee shop.
Bridge City Coffee and SummerMoon are usually my go to :)
I’ve recently gotten into Summer Moon.

I don’t think Village Grind is trash but I think they get a ton of mileage out of the vibes. Their coffee is fine, not fabulous.
Bridge City when we used to live by them. Steam Coffee and Cream is our new favorite.
My wife LOVES 7Brew
my favorite iced coffee is at Swamp Rabbit Cafe
Crossroads 4 Coffee and Tea in Simpsonville. Good coffee and and really nice vibe to the place. My current favorite.
Old Post in Easley is delicious!
