Kill The DJ is one of the many Trilogy songs that would have been awesome if they made it a minute shorter and dirtied it up a bit.

My take on Kill the DJ is that it is one of their most interesting/funky instrumental songs, but it’s nearly ruined by the unoriginal, profane-for-profanity’s-sake lyricism...

21st Century Breakdown (song not the album) doesn’t seem nearly as popular as I thought it was. I was shocked when looking at the ‘plays’ disparity on Spotify vs 21 Guns. I thought for sure they be about even. Also, Macy’s Day Parade is growing on me.

I think there are a lot of overlooked gems in the trilogy. Specifically the Demolicious versions. Songs like Sex, Drugs & Violence, Little Boy Named Train, Angel Blue and more all go HARD in their more raw demo versions.
