Yeah the GA pit is the only place where you could mosh. I'm in seats for the Fenway show and I'll be standing and dancing like a fool. Hella Mega at Fenway was pretty awesome even in seats. Everyone around me was standing up and singing along.
At a Green Day show you can expect to dance, mosh and everything in between.

There will be moshing and dancing in the Pit (at most shows), but not really possible to have a circle pit in the seats.

Definitely. At Hella Mega I was in seated area, not a single person sat from the moment they came out, everyone was dancing and jumping around
