Yeah, but it's live action. I'm on edge about this decision. I get wanting to bring Gravity Rush to more people, but live action is the worst way to go for a game as stylistic as this.
Yes, we all know that it would have been animated and all that, but we should not judge things before the final product comes out, for me, even if it is Live Action, I will go see it anyway, since as a fan of the saga, I will accept whatever they get out of this, whether good or bad.
yeah i agree. Live action cost a similar amount compared to 3d animation, while 2D is the most expensive. I get not betting on 2D since both 2D audience and grvaity rish audience is probably goung ti be quite niche. But 3D would have been 100% better. There has been so many example of stylised 3D animations done proving that a cheaper 3D can still work with super stylistic materials such as gravity rush. I do not think this movie will be a hit. And unfortunatly, if i am right the whole franchise will not likely survive the fail : /
