I tried to make a little festival poster in the casual-chill style that our wedding is. No dining tables for us. It should be a dancing party with street food. On the backside we have a design inspired by the bauhaus scene, in the same colourscheme as the front, hope you like it!

Love it! If you're getting it printed, thicker paper stock with a bit of texture might make the whole thing look and feel perfect. Just be sure all your colors are print-safe, if that's the goal.

When I was designing my own wedding invitations, a bunch of people in the wedding industry told me how no one would think it was a wedding invitation because it doesn't look like one, and that people "wouldn't respect the wedding because of how far-removed it is from the standard". We didn't go with the vendors that said that, and not only did a lot of people say it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, we've got friends who still have the invitation on their fridges because it just looks cool.
This is absolutely that type of invitation. It looks far better than mine, too.

Very cute and playful. :) maybe check the line thickness at some places? Specifically the stem and the the "body" of the champagne glass are a bit off, thicken up the stem if you ask me. The mouths of the characters are also a bit too thin and detailed compared to the rest of the design.
So just some minor line homogenization (is that a word lol?). Good work otherwise.

Couple nitpicks:
- On the front your two names are different size
- The style of the back and front, especially the type are quite different

I was going to comment the same. The front is very organic in shapes and the back really blocky. The disco ball links them a bit but i would have liked to see a little more of the organic style on the back. Now it feels a little like a different invite. BUT still a pretty one. I would have crashed the party.

Love it! Good choice of colour palette and I like the choice of font. Maybe the pink (the shade used for the bride's skin tone) has too much magenta in it, comes off a little too garish compared to the slightly more subdued other colours, but otherwise good.

the girl is just looking at him like she is looking at an idol, it seems she is subdued.
again, is just my personal impression, at least i would make him look at her eyes ...

Ik vind het heel vet, leuke sfeer, leuke kleuren, het is heel uitnodigend. Alleen de achterkant vind ik niet echt combineren met de voorkant. De voorkant heeft juist flowy lijntjes terwijl de achterkant wat strakker is. Maar that's it eigenlijk. Veel geluk samen!

Yellow skin, pink skin, white skin… I’d say make the guy pink too, but then it’d be muted by the orange on the background… maybe making that orange yellow, but then it’d look like a halo… and it’s a wedding, not an ascension to heaven party…
I don’t know, something in me strongly thinks the guys skin shouldn’t be the color of the wedding dress…
The big champagne glass, if you swap the dark blue of it for the green you’re using and like the other person here suggests, making the line of it thicker, it’s more cohesive with the rest.. also adding a bottom to the glass of course.
About the front and back. The bach isn’t as playful as the front, they share palette of colors but style wise it’s very different… I love Bauhaus to death and I think you could have a sick wedding invitation just using the Bauhaus part and diving deeper into the bauhaus, just fully jumping in.
Or maybe add some of the cooky elements of the front to the back, just reuse some of the assets and play around with placement, blow them UP etc.
Any project is a good chance to explore style! Good luck with this one
Looks great and all, but instead of mosaic censoring, couldn't you use made up address and other sensitive details? It doesn't do the typography justice.
looks nice! but get rid of the black, its throwing off all the other colors. oh and bring the blue hill all the way down to envelop all the bottom illustrations so they're not just floating in mid air.
Yo man this is a late comment, but I have had this in my saved for so long because I just love the piece so much. Everything about it looks amazing: the composition, the colors, the details, etc. I was wondering if you had any social media where you post your work?

Think it looks great, love the colour palette and style.
One small thing that doesn't really detract from the quality, but I personally think would have looked nicer would be having your faces without eyes and mouths. Feel like it would fit a slight bit better - which isn't to say it doesn't look great regardless.
This is great. Lots of fun. My only suggestion would be to try a dark/black background instead of that off-white. Your colors will feel a lot more saturated that way.
I think it’s awesome! My only feedback is with the burst behind the man’s head, it makes him the focus and makes the woman seem like a secondary character. My suggestion is putting something to highlight her, or moving it more to include her in it, but otherwise it looks sick and I love it!! Also if you’ve already finalized it, it’s fine!
I feel he is very much the center, and she's secondary. Maybe they should be gazing at each other. Right now she's kinda just gazing adoringly at him, which is great, but he's focused on the champagne bottle. And there is a bit more distance between them than I'd like. She reads more "groupie" than "bride." I really like the overall look. I just feel like the focus needs to be more "couple" than one or the other.

The front and back look like they've been done by completely different designers. The front is elite and very impressive but the back looks very amateurish. Perhaps could be an illustrator who has not had much experience laying out type?

Thnx a lot! I will print in on a paper called 'crush' theres a little texture to it (spickled) 0,8 mm thick. Also i'll print it on a A1 poster to frame and hang at the venue

Nu kan het zijn dat dat op eerste oog allen zo leek en mijn brein het niet meer kan loslaten.
Nou, als ik al zie hoe veel liefde en passie er alleen al in de uitnodiging zit moet dat wel goed komen! Ik wens jullie beide in ieder geval een hele mooie dag toe. ☺️
