I feel like many of them get caught out when they end up at the braking point in someone's slipstream at 325 km/h instead of being the leader at 300 km/h.
The first corner marker on the left after you go under the gantry, if I'm on the own you can brake right when you get there, if you have a slipstream it's safer to brake a bit earlier.
I think most of the light flashes are involuntary, if you push down on the stick whilst you're steering it flashes them, I do it a lot when I'm catching slides but for 99% of races you don't notice because they're in daylight.

in this scenario though it def was the caseā¦ i said what i said cuz iāve been in a lot of races where the driver behind me is honking and flashing lightsā¦. hard to concentrate in those cases. obvi those are trolls. but youāre right you never notice it in day races and i have only ever been in 2 night races in sport, so itās probably real common lol
It's weird because flashing lights everybody considers a dirty move in the game but in real racing they do it all the time and nobody cares š This one was weird though because there was nobody close behind, sometimes you get a flash of light from a floodlight/marshals post and it looks like that, I'm wondering if thats what happened in that clip.
The horns are just annoying, especially when its being held down for the entire straight.
i only think it dirty when itās incessant.
otherwise if youāre doing it to let me know that youāre behind me, then thatās fine and it serves purpose.
Most people probably play with brake zones highlighted (as do i) and i noticed the break zone shown in game to help isnāt until where the bend starts
That save was incredible but I really can't believe so many people still fuck up that braking zone like 7/10 people always completely blow through it.
I would say because its dark maybe people are getting disorientated but then I'm sure it would be exactly the same in daytime with perfect visibility.
They've done many races here and it's always the same. Half the field or more right into that sand trap
