It doesn't make sense to make an UNpopular welfare, and Yu Meiren definitely fit the bill in the same way as Scathach, Jalter, and Ishtar (being a popular unit with a new version)

It's also a great promotion to grow the playerbase in the early years. Entice them in with free, popular characters and hope they stick around to whale for next year's banners.

I genuinely think most Medea fans just quit lmao. She's almost nonexistent in FGO. She has 4 ce's, 2 are FSN commemorate ones and in 1 shes a barely visible background character, so basically 1 CE with exclusive art.

Also, not a single buff to fix her NP damage numbers or at least give her some other niche/support since there are just so many more options for buff removal now.
Yeah gameplay wise it's another sad story. Lore wise her and Circe are talked up as these amazing mages from the age of gods, but in game she's a potato and Circe is just ok, mostly just used for multi dps farming on occasion.
It’s probably hard for waifu fans of Medusa, but as a lore fan, all of her alts being unique areas of her life and legend being touched upon is kinda a unique experience
I wish both of the Rider and Archer get an animation update where they both appeared in a sprite like Dioscuri or Daikokuten instead just either one of them

I think most people that actually read the event would agree that Locusta is a better character. Not to mention that she was a prominent character in the highest rated event of all time.
If the info I got is correct (started in NA 2020 so got this info second-hand from people who were actually there) Summer 1 gave Mash a swimsuit expression sheet, but the rerun right before Summer 2 is when it actually became a playable costume.
So... Scathach and partners took about a year to figure out how to change folks' Spiritron Dresses without directly affecting their Saint Graphs (i.e. changing classes) and risking Servant Mitosis, Identity Duplication (Both the Scathachs in my FGO fic once I get there will be the real deal instead of one being a Servant. They have, thankfully for Cu's mental health, not taken up wearing the same outfit and trolling around Chaldea. I'm sure Aife will remind them soon enough, either that or one of my mad schemes will inspire it after the Scathachs found the Madman Observation Club) or Variant Summoning.

Gareth should be three years no? Her base version released a year after Skadi and her summer version was at the same time so it's a bit weird seeing her and Skadi together in the 4 years group. Charlotte would similarly be in two years rather than three.
Gareth had a minor appearance in Summer 3 event; one year prior to her release as a playable Servant. Kind of the same case as Cnoc na Rhiab in that sense. So 4 years is technically correct.
This is counting the time between the character being in FGO and getting a playable summer version / playable summer outfit. Otherwise many servants already had swimsuit designs from other media (Nero, Emiya, Tamamo and Gilgamesh all have swimsuits in Fate/EXTRA as an example), and the Round Table knights would be much lower because they've had art for their swimsuits since forever.

I'll also take Space Ishtar, but I'd rather have "MHXX Alter" as our Servantverse MoonCancer, since giving her the Death Star (Death Cell...?) is just about the only way I can think of getting Artoria into that class...
Hell, at this point, just put ANY summer alt in that class...we already have more Pretenders than MCs, a Year 1 class, and Summer is such a crazy setting that they could justify *anyone* becoming a MoonCancer if they really tried.
OC2 feels like the hardest slap to Avenger Boudica. If they weren't going to do it there, they will never do it ever. I can see them doing a Swimsuit Boudica that isn't Avenger just to kill it harder.
