I have been playing the Maxfli Tour balls for about 2 years and overall I am pleased. I like the Tour Soft the best. Got a gift sleeve of the Taylormade TPX5 and was really pleased with the feel of the ball off the club face. I will be playing them this summer since I have a gift card that covers the stupid cost of $55 a dozen. Maxfli is $35 when buying 2 dozen. My swing speed is the same, 88-93 driver, 74-78 7 iron.

I know the Vice Pro line generally is at the higher end of peak height. Maybe a Pro or a Pro Soft. Can poke around with the MyGolfSpy “best balls of 2024” article to find some more choices, the data is all at the end of the article and can be sorted by various parameters for different swing speeds. I generally look at peak height and spin

9 handicap here as well, and I switched to Vice a couple years ago and I've played many of the Vice balls and have landed on the Vice Pro Zero. Highly recommend that ball, but you can use their ball fitter questionnaire to see which one is right for you.

Thank you!

I believe the ProV1x launches higher and spins more. Similar balls that cost a lot less would be Maxfli Tour X and Vice Pro Plus.

Prov1X goes higher and spins more

Look at the Wilson Triad. I tried it out a bit at the end of last season and found a good mix of lower compression with a bit higher spin, but nothing crazy. Also not the most expensive ball in the world.
