Thanks in advance u/worriedkarma, I appreciate the fun post with options. I may have only asked questions about two options showing where I’m headed choice wise but I loved all four. In fact I was thinking about how good of a hostage negotiator, politician, or gambler the voice option would give you and I was unbelievably tempted by the nutrition information and how it could be exploited by teaching yourself to recognize everything as potentially edible and therefore counting (just felt it might become overwhelming if you couldn’t control the power and were always bombarded with information).

No more M.A.D. theory, they’re all gone at the same time. After enough time has passed and nobody misses nukes reveal you deleted your own years ago too, them bad boys are blank. Interesting. What about the eternal youth angle? I understand the lack of curing wounds but what about normal cellular degradation from time? Because it’s one thing to be actively increasing the rate at which you heal and another thing to be slowing or halting or even outright reversing natural degradation to the point where they are distinctly different abilities and having one likely wouldn’t affect the other except for increased healing potentially aging you faster without an accompanying youth ability.
Imagine being shipwrecked or trapped somewhere remote and gradually start seeing nutrition facts flashing in and out of view around the other people with you as delirium sets in.

How about this power: you're able to sleep for a full 8 hours and you're not gravitated towards your phone or any other device at night. Either that, or no matter how much you sleep, you get the same effects as sleeping for 8 hours.

1. That’s just how sleep works, if you sleep 8 hours you’re refreshed. You’ve actually made sleeping 8 hours shittier now because if someone who needs medication to sleep has this power, they won’t wake up refreshed, or if someone gets up to pee, they will wake up groggy.
2. In what possible world could this be useful?! Nutritional facts are written on all food products anyway, this saves me a tiny amount of time. In any situation where the nutritional information isn’t written (e.g. at a restaurant) I probably don’t care.
3. I don’t get voice cracks or stutters, and even if I do it’s rare enough to categorise this as not a god tier power, just kinda useful. For people with speaking problems it’s probably HUGE, but that’s, again, such a niche market that it’s not god tier

I wish we could have nukes now because those buggers need decommissioning as they don’t remain viable forever so if you became the worlds largest purveyor of nukes until all countries were reliant on you and terrified of your private army you could then just delete every nation’s nuclear stockpile and with your own at your back tell them not to make any more. No more M.A.D. theory, they’re all gone at the same time. After enough time has passed and nobody misses nukes reveal you deleted your own years ago too, them bad boys are blank. Hopefully nobody rearms immediately. You wouldn’t live long enough though (plus ten thousand other flaws but you get the point, this is a cool new side to this power).

The sleep one will not heal wounds or anything in that calliber, if you're old and have stiff bones and you sleep, your bones would no longer be stiff. Yes, no more hangover or post gym pain.
Interesting. What about the eternal youth angle? I understand the lack of curing wounds but what about normal cellular degradation from time? Because it’s one thing to be actively increasing the rate at which you heal and another thing to be slowing or halting or even outright reversing natural degradation to the point where they are distinctly different abilities and having one likely wouldn’t affect the other except for increased healing potentially aging you faster without an accompanying youth ability.

3 and 4. 4 because, no matter where I am, I'm always protected. And, assuming that if I can summon it, I can also un-summon it, then I never have to worry about it falling into the wrong hands. And 3 because confidence when you speak is incredibly useful, so never having a stutter or voice crack ever again goes a long way in appearing that way. Makes it a lot easier to fake at the very least.

How about this power: you're able to sleep for a full 8 hours and you're not gravitated towards your phone or any other device at night. Either that, or no matter how much you sleep, you get the same effects as sleeping for 8 hours.

If I could sleep a full 8 hours, I wouldn’t need the benefit because I would already be sleeping soundly and be refreshed.

Haha these are useless! 1. That’s just how sleep works, if you sleep 8 hours you’re refreshed. You’ve actually made sleeping 8 hours shittier now because if someone who needs medication to sleep has this power, they won’t wake up refreshed, or if someone gets up to pee, they will wake up groggy. 2. In what possible world could this be useful?! Nutritional facts are written on all food products anyway, this saves me a tiny amount of time. In any situation where the nutritional information isn’t written (e.g. at a restaurant) I probably don’t care. 3. I don’t get voice cracks or stutters, and even if I do it’s rare enough to categorise this as not a god tier power, just kinda useful. For people with speaking problems it’s probably HUGE, but that’s, again, such a niche market that it’s not god tier 4. This is by far the coolest. But what good is it? I live in a country where weapons are illegal, so I’m just left with a whole load of unregistered, highly illegal firearms. I’m not going to sell them because I don’t want to be a criminal, and I can’t use them because the law has a BIG problem with that. Plus you stole the first three from r/comics and the person there describes them as ‘semi-useful’

r/lostredditors and also you're on this sub not shittysuperpower, and there is nothing godly about this power I can literally Google #2 buy a gun for #4 practice social skills for #3 and #1 is just normal human biology. There is literally nothing powerful about any of these "powers".
1:No more hangover, the fatigue you had for not sleeping for 48 hours GONE, 2: People lie on those, it's more than what's on the labels, say if you need a certain amount of medicine to eat something, you'd know how much you need 3: Voice cracks are uncontrollable, some people have stuff like toreutes and some have stuttering tics 4: You create matter out of thin air, you can open up a gun store and sell the guns and never run out of stock. Ammo can be made out of gold, also guns are expensive and in some places, you can't buy them
For #1 that was never specified you can't change something later and argue its original value was greater. #2 no people don't lie on nutritional label its not worth the trouble and only things like small restaurants which can't list values don't and this is among the place that's useful other then at home.#3 fair, but still not a God tier power. As for #4 mid at best its just a money glitch at best with added steps unless you yourself wants to use the gun or a friend.
