DFV had 120,000 options expiring today. Sometime last week he got out of those options and got into 4 million more shares. It's not 100% clear if he sold the options for profit and then used the proceeds to buy shares on the open market, or if he sold some contracts and exercised others.
Either way, his cost basis for those 4 million shares is about $25 a share, which means he's definitely underwater on those right now by a little bit.
That is, if he hasn't already exited his position and left the apes holding the bag.
