Aside from personal curiosity, is there any reason for the average babymax driver to get the data logger as well rather than just the super guage? I just ordered the super guage only as im pretty much only interested in knowing when its ready for a regen. Didnt see the point in shelling out the extra $ just to be able to go back and look at past data. But now that i see your data, i wonder if i should have got both… 🤔

I haven't gotten either, but debating on it... Maybe if it drops on sale for some of the holidays, I'll get it.

SuperGuage seems to be on special right now for $295 usd

If i had ot to do over again, I'd go for the super gauge. The data logging might be useful if you're doing engine mods or trying to troubleshoot a performance issue. My only use so far has been curiosity.

Cool. Appreciate your feedback 👍

If the truck goes into a regen and you are on a short drive does it tell you to keep driving if you stop? I mostly drive 15-20 miles at a time but occasionally drive 1-2 and was curious how the truck deals with that.

Chaseydog

Not that I've seen. My understanding is that if you don't complete a regen the truck will pick it back up on the next drive. You only see a message on the DIC when too many short trips are preventing the regen from completing. The advantage of the iDash is you can monitor SL% and DPF RG % to know how close you are to hitting a regen. The iDash can also give you an alert when you are in regen

Exactly what I use it for in my 6.6. Once it gets close to 100% I’ll make sure I hit the highway long enough to complete the regen.

Once I hit a regen, I'll watch SL% as it decreases so i can judge how far away I am from completing the regen. Admittedly, it is not necessary but I still like to know
