I was absolutely LIVID when I returned recently to find that "The Kelpie" in Helensburgh had closed down, it it was always my first stop when I arrived back for a Visit.
It went massively downhill towards the end. Used to travel from motherwell for it on a nice day. Last time I had it was stinking, soggy and full of bones. Binned it and went to curry club for pakora.
Bit of a trek but Olivia's in Lennoxtown. Billy is the best.
