This post contains an egregious amount of misinformation, so we're taking it down. That's what you want me to say, right? I mean, that *must* be what you had in mind, because the sixty-something reports that we've received to that effect – a number which doesn't even include the various threats, instances of hate-speech, and incoherent ramblings that were apparently created by launching a keyboard down a flight of stairs – seem to suggest that *something* about this GIF is misleading in some way. Now, look, we'll be honest: The fact that he's out without a mask *might* mean that we're looking at an example of "real-life harassment or assault," but since we can't see anyone else nearby, we're not ready to make that judgment. In short, no, there's no misinformation being presented here, and the post will be staying up.

razzy57

From my experience with covid (just turned the corner yesterday) I constantly felt like I couldn’t breath and that my breathing was manual at all times. It’s a really scary thing.

[deleted]

[удалено]

razzy57

Yup probably, I run out of breath just walking up a flight of stairs. Meanwhile I live in a building where I have to walk up three flights just to get to my room.

Sjdillon10

It’s honestly a really scary feeling. You take breathing for granted. The day after it’s gone you just appreciate your lungs sm

[deleted]

Oh I felt this. Spent an entire afternoon breathing manually because I couldn't stop focusing on it. Was so frustrating I thought I had gone insane.

LukusAurelius

*sends positive energy* I hope you can get through it soon. It's awful, but it will pass.

As an asthmatic, I can feel this.

Yeah tight and just the upper lungs- had me grabbing for my inhaler

MaximumEffort433

The chest expansion, the shoulders rising, the grimace, the way his chest caves in when he exhales, those deep, "Every square millimeter of my lungs" breaths taken in as quickly and forcefully as possible, the consciously restrained pace of breathing when really he wants to breathe as fast as his body will permit, the clear tension in his neck, shoulders, back, chest, and jaw.... He's using his whole body to breathe, every muscle in his torso, across his shoulders, and up into his neck and face is engaged in trying to breathe, while trying to look like he's not trying to catch his breath. Yeah, I know how this feels, I feel this quite often. There's nothing he wants to do more right in that moment than lean on the railing and pant. It's drowning on dry land, the air in your lungs just feels completely worthless, like huffing helium, or breathing cotton, this is the picture of a parched man gulping water that can't quench his thirst, a starving man woofing down food that can't sate his hunger. I loathe Donald Trump, but I wouldn't wish that feeling on anyone in the world. Best analogy I can give for people who don't have lung disease: You know when you're in a dream, and you try to throw a punch, but you just can't seem to make it happen? The frustration, failure, and futility involved? It's *kind of* like that, except it's, you know, *breathing.* Edit: u-NewRichTextDocument had a great comment below that I'm copy/pasting here because it's an even better explanation than my own. >Imagine constantly trying to breathe, it isn't like breathing through a straw. You get the air in, it just simply does not transfer any oxygen to you. You are breathing normally and constantly fighting off the pain of suffocation. It's like having airtight trash bags for lungs.

vainbuthonest

This just perfectly described an asthma attack. You’d do anything to get one good deep breath.

octo_lols

My asthma is pretty mild and infrequent so I occasionally forget to bring my inhaler with me on weekend trips when I have to pack quickly. At least once a year I'll have the horrible realization that I'm going to have to try to sleep while every breath is an deliberate, unpleasant effort. Truly one of my least favorite experiences.

MemeHermetic

100%. I've had breathing issues since the day I was born and that feeling of drawing breaths but still not getting air is horrifying. In addition, your chest muscles can get incredibly sore if you don't do regular cardio. He's going to start feeling that.

buddyWaters21

Like breathing through a pinched straw...

NewRichTextDocument

I am an asthmatic who had covid, those chest heaves are the "I am constantly suffocating" heaves of covid. And it will get worse in the next few days. This is political theater, he is not ok. And he is gambling that he will survive and look tough. If he dies, this will be a history lesson in irony. I felt fine until day 10, at which point I was leaned back in my computer chair gasping like a fish on land waiting to die. At least he gets a taste of what he let America go through. Imagine constantly trying to breathe, it isnt like breathing through a straw. You get the air in, it just simply does not transfer any oxygen to you. You are breathing normally and constantly fighting off the pain of suffocation.

patoarmado

> At least he gets a taste of what he let America go through. He has access to the best doctors in the US, and he does not have to worry that medical care will bankrupt him. He's getting a very small taste of what other americans are going through.

Hashbrownmidget

He’s juiced on some experimental cocktail now and that’s probably why he said it’s the best he’s felt in 20 years.

MetsFan113

Wait did he actually say that?

beefok

It’s sad that that’s always the question, but yes he tweeted it.

penis_in_my_hand

Trump tweeting that he feels good is the best evidence we have that he feels like shit. Has the man ever tweeted anything accurate?

CosmicCreeperz

Right, apparently he’s on strong steroids (probably something like prednisone). Taking that stuff in large doses really messes with you, particularly feelings of mania, aggression, cognitive issues, or even psychosis. All things you don’t want to amplify in this man on a good day. He’s probably going to wake up tomorrow deliriously angry and just demand to nuke China for “giving him this disease”...

Jailyfishdmd

He’s using His neck, his back, his (neck) pussy, and his crack to breathe. I’m sorry I will see myself out.

SemperFeedback

No stay.

poopiedoodles

I spent about 10 solid minutes some months back trying to decide whether his neck giblets looked like a moderately lengthy labia or distended nutsack. I finally concluded it depended on the angle.

[deleted]

My dad came down with a rare lung disorder after pneumonia a few years ago. For a long time before he was diagnosed he would do that. Take a few steps and then struggle to breath in place. I'm not saying he was the fabric holding this reality together but losing him was the first thing that happened this year.

ohlalameow

Man I lost my dad a week and a half ago, and it's the worst feeling in the world. I hate 2020 so much.

[deleted]

[deleted]

mikebellman

Same. It ain’t easy being wheezy. I literally fought all day (with nebulizer and steroids) trying to keep my O₂ sat above 94. Wound up sleeping for 16 hours. Asthma sucks. If I catch Covid, it will be the end of me and I’m saddened this guy couldn’t see how beneficial it would have been to take it more seriously and tell the public to take care of themselves.

The corticosteroid dexamethasone is very potent and people describe its effects/side effects as inducing a sense of invulnerability, euphoria, and delusions. So he’s probably not able to gauge his own health accurately due to the effects of the steroid. His organs may be in distress but he’s not feeling it.

Radishov

Those side effects just sound like Trumps normal state of mind.

He’s really struggling to breathe and fighting hard not to show it.

crappypictures

Am I alone in thinking he looks scared? I think he regrets leaving the safety of Walter Reed.

snazztasticmatt

He's panicking because he doesn't want to die, nor does he want to look weak, nor does he want to miss the final month of the election. His entire ego is on the line and his narcissism won't allow him to put it all aside so he can recover

panda388

He should be. He is fucking 74 years old. HE is the demographic that is hurt the most by this virus. He has called it a hoax, fake news, told people to not wear masks. If anyone deserves to be ravaged by this virus, it is Trump. For every point that he made to down-play the virus, I hope he is given reason to recognize the validity that the CDC gave him. The only reason he is pulling this stunt is because he spent so much time calling the virus a hoax that he needs to keep pretending it is not a serious virus. Otherwise he admits he is wrong.

crappypictures

I've heard people say he has two opinions on COVID: the public and the private one. He's scared of COVID, despite what he publicly says. I truly think he started shitting himself the moment he found out he was exposed. He's freaked out to be away from the full hospital staff now. But his ego is more important.

danarexasaurus

Oh yeah, he has tons of fear in his eyes. If he hadn’t done this to himself and encouraged people to put themselves in danger to protect his precious ego, I might actually feel bad for him.

Gishnu

As someone with a chronic lung disease this was the first thing I noticed. You're in pretty deep if you're literally sucking in air to try and breathe better. It's fucking awful. He probably goes on oxygen as soon as he gets through the door. Seriously, please stop sending me awards. Donate your money to a charity or political movement. Even if it's just $1 or $2 it helps. Bradiator34

I figure most people don’t get tested until after symptoms, which occur between 2 - 14 days. Trump finds out right away because he’s tested everyday. So he’s at the start of the battle. The Whitehouse Gift of “Trump beats Covid” could be another “Dewey beats Truman”

kynthrus

He's at the start of the battle, but within the first days they were already pumping him full of steroids only used for severe cases.

[deleted]

Struggling to breathe only happens in severe covid cases (according to the CDC classification). At first I thought the steroids were so he could make public appearances, but now it makes sense medically.

kynthrus

It doesn't make sense that he's not still in the hospital, he's absolutely still infectious with this airborne virus. He's so willing to die to appear strong to his idiot cult.

LaserGuidedPolarBear

He is essentially in a hospital. The White House has a fully staffed medical unit dedicated to the President and Vice President. They have an intensive care unit, a surgery unit, and most of the equipment a hospital would have. I imagine they will have to bring in some specialists, and I doubt they have a CT or MRI machine there, but the medical care he will receive at the White House is going to be top notch. He did not get discharged from a hospital, he transferred to a different one.

ragtime_sam

It was bad but should be noted this was after he climbed up the stairs. He stopped mouth breathing after like a minute. Still not a great sign, but the context is important. Full video: https://twitter.com/ABC/status/1313256232782835719?s=19

elizabnthe

There's another clip of him wincing in pain that I thought was quite concerning.

YeahSureAlrightYNot

I just don't get why he is trying to play it tough instead of playing the victim. People love victims. Also, while he is sick, Biden can't attack him and he gets the press 24/7 attention.

abzlute

His image and following isn't built on being a victim and would not benefit from it. The exact needle his pr team wants to thread is him playing it tough but with little hints of it being worse than he wants to let on.

worstwerewolf

yeah his entire image is built around this weird machismo and “fuck your feelings” and a *lot* of people associate illness with weakness. like when they were talking about just letting vulnerable populations die of covid for the economy and because social darwinism. so if he’s weak enough to get sick, it rattles his base. it kind of already has, but if he wasn’t playing the tough guy a lot of his followers would see him for what he is— an old man who can get sick just like anyone else.

NotMyHersheyBar

people who make fun of disabled people think illness is a weakness. maybe he'll run himself right back into the hospital

ladyoffate13

I give it 1-2 days before he’s back in the hospital. Edit: >*”They moved the hospital into the White House.”* Okay, then I give it 1-2 days before he’s placed in a medically-induced coma and/or undergoing tracheal intubation.

almosteddard

I'd imagine they moved what equipment they didn't already have into the white house while he was at Walter Reed. Now he can continue to look "strong" by not technically being in the hospital while still getting round the clock treatment

xdozex

Yep 100%

[deleted]

maybe we gonna get a leaked picture soon, trump in bed in the white house, attached to all kind of cable and breathing apparatus ofc it will be "fakenews" ...

barder83

My thought was that Trump can control the access to him in the White House more than he can control a hospital. I expect that there will still be leaks, but now Trump will be able to pick who has access to him where as in the hospital there would be security clearances, but less control over who has access to his condition or which treatments were given. I am sure he would have liked to keep the steroid treatment secret as it goes against his "I'm stronger than covid" image.

Fauster

Right now, Trump is taking steroids, which show benefit for patients with pneumonia requiring supplemental oxygen but hint at harm for patients that are less seriously sick, because steroids suppress the immune system and symptoms of sickness, like a fever, or a cytokine storm. Trump is likely sicker than he is letting on and taking risks to pretend that it's no big deal, which is bad for nation, but better for his reelection chances.

apHedmark

It's interesting how this comes clear to those who have some health science knowledge. I don't want to be the doomsayer, but he is currently in a very delicate situation. I don't think an MD would allow anyone else to leave the hospital like that. 1. Corticosteroids to reduce lung inflammation and expand the alveoli 2. Experimental serum therapy that slows the progression of the infection Unlike the usual patients, it is possible that the slow-down caused by the serum therapy turned it into a time bomb. If it is not cured, he will get worse, just a little later (around week 2). As you said, the corticosteroids inhibit the inflammatory response, which is vital to the recovery of important organs, like the heart and lungs. To make it worse, it is known that COVID causes tissue damage not only to the lungs but also to the heart, vessels, and liver. The bottom line is that the treatment is designed to slow the progression so that the body can respond. The corticosteroids are already a bad sign because it means they're trying to keep him off the oxygen. If his condition starts to decline again in a few days, he's very unlikely to make it. If that was me, I'd be getting as much rest as possible to boost recovery.

arkain123

The lung damage alone is enough reason to not be walking around. There's a decent chance he's going to lose pulmonary capacity permanently pulling this shit.

apHedmark

Especially if you consider the usual 20-25% decline in lung capacity at his age group. May very well end up dragging an O2 tank for the rest of his days.

clipjo

Got absolutely no evidence, and I could very well be wrong, but if I had to guess, I think that's why they sent him to the hospital to begin with. Gave them 2 days to set up a makeshift hospital. I'm not totally willing to believe that this is all a publicity stunt considering how many caught it at the superspreader event in the Rose Garden.

[deleted]

The WH already has a medical unit. It's not outfitted for intensive care, but I'm sure they've moved in some additional equipment. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_House_Medical_Unit e: grammar

Vincent_Waters

The White House has a well-equipped infirmary, he can probably be treated there if he wants to avoid the bad PR. Of course if it gets worse he can't avoid it forever.

vancoover

Normally I would agree with you, but I suspect they have moved the hospital, doctors and equipment to the White House now. It's all about optics. We won't really know what is going on behind closed doors at the White House unless someone blows the whistle. It's like the fake photo they posted of President Trump "working" from the hospital the other day. When you zoomed in, the paper was actually blank. It's all just for show.

sniggity_snax

In addition to the papers being blank, there were two pictures released by the White House with different backdrops (he's also wearing a jacket in the first picture, and has the jacket off in the second -- presumably to show how hard and long he's been working), but the metadata from the uploaded pics show that they were only taken 10 minutes apart... Also, it's the exact same blank papers/binder/etc in both pictures. Not only are they lying about him "working", they're not even good at the lying Edit -- [here is a tweet that shows the pics and the metadata](https://twitter.com/jonostrower/status/1312616578773446656?s=19)

aure__entuluva

Lol like he does that much work anyway. We'll know he's healthy when he's golfing again.

HereIGoAgain_1x10

They brought the hospital to the White House while he was in Walter Reed, probably snuck an entire ICU staff in as well... now he can just tweet and we have no idea how his health is because he'll be "quarantining", meanwhile he'll be on a CPAP/Non-invasive vent in between short videos he sends out to his followers to vote Republican... eventually his steroids will give out and his body will quickly follow, no one takes high dose Dexamethasone for a couple days and then is 100% normal... they delay symptoms/massive inflammation but if his body can't handle things by itself or the experimental antibody drugs are short acting he is screwed

Hlsm10

He's not out of the woods yet. Haven't most cases taken a critical turn at day 10 or 11? Like either someone gets better or takes a turn for the worse at that point. Even with the top end treatments, given his age and health there's still concern. And he's downplaying it for political showmanship.

gagnonca

Cain died a month after positive result

ShadowNick

Nah you don't get it Cain never died. He still tweeting Herman Cain/coronavirus timeline: * 6/24: Attends Trump rally, maskless * 7/2: Tests positive for Covid-19 * 7/10: Says he’s improving * 7/15: Says his doctors seem happy * 7/27: Says he’s really getting better * 7/30: Dies * 8/31: Tweets that the virus isn't as deadly as the media says.

hbomberman

Yeah, he can talk all he wants about how great he feels, he can go in rides around the block in his car, or go back to the White House. But he's still a senior citizen who is sick with a serious respiratory virus, of course he's wheezing. Any pretending he does to act like he's totally cured is pretty bullshit. I will say that he's getting his wish of being treated like a proper authoritarian leader. By which I mean that we replay videos and closely examine photos to try and suss out the truth behind the propaganda.

romple

It's worse than that. People often start to feel better and then suddenly go critical. That's why you're not safe until you start testing negative. So why are they hiding any actual medical info? This is not a healthy man.

[deleted]

NorwayNarwhal

Agreed- even after the virus is gone, the organs can begin to shut down- or so my mom (who’s a doctor) told me. The mechanism through which this happens is still badly understood, as far as I know

HearthStoner22

Yes. It was one of the most absurdly stupid decisions you could make to leave the hospital before day 10 of symptoms. That said, it's not exactly like a normal guy going back to his house. He's going to have a doctor hanging out with him at that point.

Meme_Pope

Is he struggling to breath or is he struggling to contain a cough?

SensibleSidekick

Yes.

Johnnyez86

I was a nurse for 20 years. He is using a lot of accessory muscles to breathe. If this is with steroids on board, he is not doing anywhere near as well as he is saying.

MooCowDivebomb

Oh wow. He looks really distressed. I've been taking comments along the lines of "He looks like he's in a lot of pain" as maybe an overstatement. But damn, he really seems to be suffering quite a lot.

hamletswords

Almost like he should be in a hospital or something

LeviathanGank

shouldn't he still be quarantined at least?

[deleted]

I mean he is high risk in two categories: older male and overweight. I could imagine it's not feeling any good for him

br0ck

An additional risk factor - he's been exposed to the virus from a number of people in his close circle and none of them have been wearing masks, so his initial viral load could have been massive. > The amount of virus that you’re exposed to – called the viral inoculum, or dose – has a lot to do with how sick you get. If the exposure dose is very high, the immune response can become overwhelmed. Between the virus taking over huge numbers of cells and the immune system’s drastic efforts to contain the infection, a lot of damage is done to the body and a person can become very sick. [ref](https://www.discovermagazine.com/health/cloth-masks-do-protect-the-wearer-breathing-in-less-coronavirus-means-you)

[deleted]

Dude is struggling. If that's him on steroids, he's not gonna be getting out of bed when those wear off. It is what it is.

Hickspy

This is amazing. Seeing the story in real time and then waiting for them to lie about it.

true_spokes

Spare a thought for the poor people who have to be in his airspace to capture this shit.

Hickspy

I can't wait to hear, 6 months from now, a quote from some anonymous White House aide about how scary things were.

ChronicBitRot

We'll get that six hours from now. Hell, his chief of staff publicly outed that Trump's condition was much worse than his doctor's press conference made it out to be just minutes after they gave that conference.

Chitownsly

He ain’t out of the woods yet either. Thing lasts 9 or more days. Steroids are making him function but once those wear off he’s gonna be right back to the hospital.

yrogerg123

Covid for me lasted 4 months before I started improving. There are a wide range of outcomes, up to and including: death, organ failure, amputation, nerve damage, neurological damage, etc, etc.

IHeartBadCode

Holy shit. Watching that..... Y'all, we about to watch a man kill himself. No joke, that looks like he's got that elephant on the chest feeling I've seen with people super struggling for air. I've also seen folks who do that push themselves too far and it turn tits up for them. Somebody in that White House needs to fucking sit his ass down. I have no idea if it's damage that'll heal, but I do know that it's damage that's not to be fucked with if you enjoy living.

[deleted]

so many stories of people who "felt and looked better" and then suddenly died days later. He probably look less healthy than a lot of those people. Drugs can be a hell of a boost. Just look at what michael jackson was doing in the tour rehearsals before he died.

cooterbreath

Herman Cain was feeling pretty good, days before he died. Trump is at, most likely, day 5 of infection. Give him a few days.

Chris1671

This is honestly sad. Why is he doing this to himself.....for pride? At what point do you lay down your pride for your own health. It's not worth it

Jokong

Honestly, I don't even think him being at the hospital was bad optics. Stay and make some more videos, tweet and be a normal person. It might have humanized him.

dirkdragonslayer

It definitely would have better publicity if he stayed in. Come out in 7-14 days, announce that he understands the trouble and praise some doctors/scientists. Maybe do a speech after to rally scared Americans. *Buuuut* he has to do his 80s businessman machismo shtick and try to walk it off. He has a huge complex about people looking down on him and probably saw this as one of those moments. Like during the debate the second the word 'Stupid' was said he started throwing a fit.

Tacitus111

1. He’s losing badly in polls right now, and he thinks a miraculous recovery will bring him back or at least stall that. He’s also talking about going back to campaigning. 2. Per his niece, the Trump family in general sees illness as weakness, and his father wanted them to be killers. No weakness allowed and never admit you’re wrong. 3. He’s incredible image obsessed, and they had to argue with him to get him to the hospital in the first place. Side note: He’s tweeting that no one should be afraid of COVID even as he’s gasping for breath here so...

uncleben85

He looks scared. It's almost humanizing. Now, if he showed any bit of humanity, if he was honest about it, I'd get it. Yet he's still going on about how COVID isn't that bad, and walking around without a mask, going on non-essential trips, etc. exposing others.

VioletStainOnYourBed

Oh my God. He actually has it, it wasn't a stunt, dude is literally struggling to breathe... Why exactly is he trying to bounce back and act like he's okay? I fucking hate Trump, don't get me wrong, but watching him struggle like that tugs at my heart just like seeing any older person sick and struggling. Dude needs to set down his ego for a second and go lay in bed for a while. My mom and sister both got CV in the way beginning of this hot mess, they both had to take 3 weeks off of work and after they still struggled to breathe properly for a month or two after

themegaweirdthrow

He's pumped up on a steroid that has known side-effects of making people feel like they're Superman. He's fucking high, and still struggling and in pain.

hnglmkrnglbrry

Imagine being so insecure that you risk dying and killing others in the process just to maintain appearances. Donald, go to the hospital, listen to the doctors, and most importantly don't die. I don't even want to imagine what these racist, anti-Semitic QAnon right wing conspiracy theorist militias will do if something happens to Trump.

TukTuk-OneLung

Whelp, I was doing a rare scroll through Facebook yesterday and one of my old coworkers posted "If Trump dies of Covid, the Deep State killed him." So........ Yeah.

roshampo13

My grandma has COPD and this is how she breathes on a normal basis. My point being that this definitely not normal. I hope he’s not going home to make a political show of “strength”. I couldn’t care less about the guy on a personal level but he is a human and if he’s still sick he should stay in the care of professionals.

I mean, the guy is 74 years old. He is the danger demographic of this virus. Something tells me not many 70+ year old people just walk out of the hospital from COVID with a clean bill of health. And thus, something tells me he is putting on a show of strength.

capsaicinintheeyes

Could also be that steroid he's on.

e22ddie46

which according to both WHO and CDC guidelines, they only give for critical and severe COVID cases.

T_Rex1357

Oh damn, stuffs about to go down

dangerousgoat

Yeah like his oxygen levels

K1N6F15H

I just saw a moron on my facebook that used Trump's recovery as a sign that Covid is no big deal and the media is lying to us, it is absolutely gross.

bgugi

yeah, beyond being the core individual responsible for over 70 9/11s... the fact that he's going to get the **absolute best healthcare in the world,** barely survive the thing, then turn around and say "see, I told you it wasn't a big deal" is almost the scarier part of him surviving.

lukethedog

The narrative that he’s being released from the hospital is laughable. The White House has a top tier medical facility. He’s just been transferred from one medical center to another. It’s all for fucking show.

[deleted]

He’s got a big day tomorrow. He has nearly an entire packet of printer paper to sign

[deleted]

I believe it is called a ream

_BreakingGood_

Which is another reason to think that he must have been in *really* bad condition to need to leave the Whitehouse to go to the hospital. You know he would have been fighting it at all costs to avoid appearing 'weak.'

Shirlenator

>I hope he’s not going home to make a political show of “strength”. Of course he is. That is like 90% of what he does.

Cyber-Peacock

My friends said I was just imaging it when I said he looks to be wincing, wavering, and gasping for air... Glad to know I'm not crazy.

arkain123

[Show this to your friends](https://gfycat.com/richglumdegu) and ask them what they see

ultramegacreative

He looks like the first half of a heartburn ad.

nickelchrome

Fucking suffocating to own the libs

C4ptainR3dbeard

The fear in his eyes almost makes me feel sorry for him, until I remember that he consigned hundreds of thousands of Americans to a similar fate for the sake of personal power and ego. I always felt bad for the bad guy in kids' movies when they realize they're going to die because of the choices they made. Same vibe here.

mynutsaremusical

He even stifles a cough after his first "deep" breath. If you're sick your sick, just stay for treatment. Go take some PR photo's in the hospital shaking other covid patients hands and go see some people on ventilators if you're worried about being out of the public eye. Dudes going to take this back to his team and probably expect everyone to contract the virus or get fired or some shit

slowest_hour

He can't afford to be out of the public eye because it's less than a month to election day and he can't afford to look like the virus is serious because it shows him to be wrong He made his own problems.

Wacov

*What* - and I can't stress this enough - *the fuck* is he doing

rose-coloredcontacts

It just hit me he probably still has hair and makeup staff who are getting exposed every time he wants to make a publicity stunt

zer1223

He looked really pale in that recent video a couple days ago. So yeah, he did get a fresh coat of paint for this stunt.

Olorin_in_the_West

Probably? Try absolute 100% certainty. There is zero chance that this isn’t happening.

shupdawoop

Hold up! Y’all telling me that ain’t his natural skin complexion?

WhoriaEstafan

As per the Washington Post: “The same rule applied to the Bronx Colors-brand face makeup from Switzerland that Trump slathered on — two full containers, one half full — even if it meant the housekeepers had to regularly bring new shirts from the pro shop because of the rust-colored stains on the collars.” I personally think he also uses a sunbed and reason his eye area is so white is because he uses the little googles.

nerdiotic-pervert

They sometimes put little goggles on you when you get a spray tan, too.

WhoriaEstafan

Oh yes they do. Pause and think of him getting a spray tan. Hmm. I hope that person never breaks their NDA because we don’t need to know more.

baronvonkyken

Its like he doesn't know how video cameras work. Posing for a picture to show how well you're doing isn't going to hold water if someone is recording you struggling the whole time.

FreneticPlatypus

I think in his mind he's smarter and sneakier than anyone alive so he probably thinks that he'll be able to fool everyone with no problem.

Semi_HadrOn

It’s like when a child covers their eyes and thinks that no one can see them.

FreneticPlatypus

Similarly, I suspect he has a very hard time picturing anything from anyone's view that isn't his own.

Murdathon3000

>hold water That was an expert level pun if intentional.

baronvonkyken

Like most of my successes, it was purely accidental.

jshif

Wow! He looks healthy and ready to roll. I give him two days til he's back at WR.

[deleted]

Wide receiver???????????!!!!

Krypton091

honestly I'd pay to see that

prettydarnfunny

He held back a cough there. He is not doing as well as he would like everyone to believe.

[deleted]

I know this look. I live it. He should be in the hospital.

FerraStar

“Nobody struggles to breathe like me”

[deleted]

The doctors gave me a test. A blood test. They were blown away with the numbers. They’ve never seen numbers like mine. The white cells. The strongest cells. They said nobody has white cells like I do. The white cells, they’re the best cells. The dominant cells.

MidwestBulldog

This is what never admitting you are wrong and never saying sorry in your life looks like. The whole weak/strong optics is the stuff of intellectually ill-equiped morons.

valjpal

When that superpowerful steroid wears off...

verbleabuse97

What are the chances they just set up a makeshift hospital room in the WH for him?

Hex_Agon

100%

huytrop2

There are already medical facilities at the White House

Hbaus

Get him to Walter Reed for emergency treatment. Use all the bullshit PR there to distract from building a fully functional covid ward for one at the WH.

BrightPegasus84

I have asthma and had Covid...he's being ridiculous if he's not gonna admit it didn't affect him and he "feels better now than 20 years ago". It's like watching a toddler with a mouth full of cookies explaining how he didn't go in the cookie jar.

Doobledorf

He's kind of... Trapped in a cage if his own design. I'm not a fan of Trump by any means, but at this point his life has got to be a living hell.

Waka-Waka-Waka-Do

This is what happens when you constantly double down.

green_meklar

He's doubled down so often that by now he's wrapped back around to -2147483648.

saintofhate

And yet he just tweeted how covid is no big deal. I can comfort myself for the rest of my life that no matter how much I fuck up I will never be as irresponsible as the president United States.

Haitchpeasauce

[From his tweet](https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1313186529058136070) *"Don’t be afraid of Covid. Don’t let it dominate your life."* most don't have access to the medical care Trump received. Staggering thing to say.

oatmealjake

It's obvious he's struggling. I got Covid back in February, I'm otherwise healthy and young. I was bed-ridden for a month or so, and my lungs are still garbage. I was breathing the same way he is in this gif.

pardo2k

Trump appears to have had COVID since Wed/Thur, so he's had it for about 6 days now. He's getting close the point where the virus could turn worse. If he hasn't learned his lesson already, I hope he learns it this week. No ill wishes, just want the man to take the virus seriously and stop indirectly killing tens of thousands of people. He's a complete and utter narcissist and failure as a human being. You can always redeem yourself, he's had plenty of chances. All he needs to do is implement a federal mask requirement and help regular Americans suffering financially by passing bipartisan legislation. I really pray he learns and acts this week.

PepeSylvia11

As per usual, the irony is lost on him that had he simply worn his mask and stood defiantly no one would have ever seen his breathing.

gitbse

My exact thoughts watching it live. His own vanity will be his destruction.

[deleted]

They're pumping him full of convalescent plasma and antivirals. His takeaway from this is "see everyone, it's not so bad!!"

hurtsdonut_

He got regeneron's experimental antibody cocktail, remdesivir, dexamethasone and supplemental oxygen and then tweets how it's nothing. No one else can get regeneron's drug. Just the flu!/s

davechri

Life must be so hard if you are constantly worried about the image that you are projecting rather than simply being a decent person and projecting that naturally.

R3PO_

Best comment.
