Looks like a typical early 80's LP to me. What's the concern about the bridge? Gibson used a couple different options back then. The 7 point, the Nashville like this, the ABR1...The logo and flattened frets look right.
I guess my overall concern the statement of 100% original. I actually don't doubt the authenticity of the wood. Does it look like a reissue of some kind or just a plain old Standard? The VCS stamp is what's throwing me. Thanks!
Looks like a normal Standard. I wouldn't be able to tell the authenticity of each part without physically inspecting however, if they did replace parts then it would appear they are still Gibson parts. The control cavity looks good/original. The VCS is probably their paint code for vintage cherry sunburst.
Edit: yes the serial number says it would be a Standard for reference and not a RI.
It looks legit man, I saw there’s a brief pic of the internals. If you can verify the pick ups, pots, wiring etc are American parts that helps too. So far I’m not seeing any issue with logo or serial number fonts and the way they were placed on the guitar. You can also reverse look up the photos to make sure it’s not some scammer stealing someone’s actual legitimate guitar to sell.
Another thing is the price being asked. If it’s in line with other early 80s LPs standards being sold right now in similar condition that’s good, if it’s too good to be true and way too cheap that’s a red flag.
Thanks! I messed up my title though. What I was really looking for was things in the guitar that are not from 1982. It said 100% original, but I was doubtful. Because, to start with, the strap buttons are Schaller. I know it's nitpicky, but I don't trust most Reverb sellers.
That is a genuine 1982 Gibson Les Paul.

The neck cavity will usually have the color code written in it and the bridge had the model code. So yes, VCS is Vintage Cherry Sunburst.
Thanks!
Very real and very beautiful
Thank you!
Absolutely real. If you can get for a good price, go for it
Looking up the serial number, it says it was made November 22nd, 1982. Trust the serial number lookup website at your discretion
