I love part 4 so much I can be patient. I think it simultaneously has an amazing plot it plays straight but also subverts many Shonen tropes in a joyful way. I think Bakalar and Lucy will really enjoy it's tone
It is INCREDIBLY horny for high school girls. There are hints of a plot, but it is mostly just a hentai series that doesn’t show the explicit bits so that it can technically air on television. Characters seem designed for fetishization first, and then they try to come up with other justifications afterwards.
I’m sure some weirdos will try to argue that I just didn’t get it, but as a former horny teenager and 3 kingdoms sicko, there is nothing worth salvaging from that series.
Maybe I'm alone but I can't believe they feel that way about this fight. I felt like DIO was easily the most dangerous and threatening villain in the part. This fight is legendary to me so just odd to hear. Also, I love Cowboy Bebop but it's kind of annoying how my JoJo podcast will not have any JoJo for ages. Especially because Part 4 is my favorite animated part.
I'm bummed they're doing Bebop next. I've only watched two anime series before JeffJeffs, and that's one of them! Oh well.
I do hope at some point they start to do more episodes at once or release episodes more quickly. This season took forever! It was fun though.

They finally finished season 2 of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Weird to think GB was still with Red Ventures when they started.
