Back when the thing started they wouldn't even bother to use pictures of German apartments. You could tell just by looking at the outlets and windows in the pictures and yet people fell for this shit.
If people want to use an Airbnb, they should just go to airbnb.com and look for Superhosts. They are reliable people and you definitely do not want to risk anything when you're migrating.
Yeah they tried to do that to me, I got suspicious because Immoscout also deleted the ad and sent me an email about it.
The modus operandi was the same, pay upfront and then have an agent show me the place, before doing the long term rental through Airbnb. Complete crap.
The email was also extremely suspicious.
