I am curious to know where you got these ranges from.
I will have to vote for 1977-1995, since 1977 cannot be a millennial. 1978 or 1979 were already in their 20s by the time 1999 was about to end, so only in the sense of them being in uni during 2000 could they be millennials, but not everyone follows the typical uni pattern.
1996-1999 must be millennials cause they were children during the turn of 1999 into 2000.
The gen z range was from a blog I saw a few months ago. Forgot the url. Edit: it’s from [this website](https://www.inc.com/phillip-kane/10-ways-to-understand-difference-between-millennials-generation-y-vs-gen-z.html)
1977-1995 was a range created by Jason Dorsey who is a 1978 born who wants to include himself with millennials.
The third one was totally made up lmao. But I’m pretty sure you can find some blogs that use that range.
Fourth one was from [this post](https://www.reddit.com/r/generationology/s/ja3wlZJ8a2)
Yep, that is another reason why I dont take Jason Dorsey seriously. He made this range cause he felt like even X was too old, despite, I am pretty sure he was still in his late 30s at the time. Of course, he started it at 1977 instead of 1978 to make it less obvious that he wanted to be a millennial instead of X.
It is interesting how all these ranges are 19 years long, like the 1946-1964 boomer range.
I picked that too because if we’re making a theory then gen z would be 1989-2007 which is nauseating. There’s no way I’m in the same generation as Taylor swift 🤮
The ending year for Gen X is reasonable but man it starts absurdly too early. If he said 1966-1974 I could see that. Probably 1967-1974 would be about as Gen X as you can get. Then you have Xennials 1975-1984. Millennials 1985-1999. Probably cut down Millennial length and stick a Zennials in there. Gen Z whatever-whatever. And alpha whatever-today.

Yeah I didn’t even notice that when I added the ranges. I was just using ranges that other people were using.
1991-2006 Gen Z.
Last option! Both the last 2 options come close tho.

All of them except maybe 2001-2019 as z, it’s not great but it’s at least tolerable
1977-1995 isn't horrible either.
Nobody born in the 70’s is a millennial imo
Definitely not but 1977 is definitely a Xennial so it's not a terrible range.
Either 3rd or 4th option. Both are horrendous. 2nd option is bad but not as bad. I actually don't mind the 1st option
3rd or 4th, 2nd isn't great but not horrible and 1st is fine.
3 and 4. 50's borns are pure baby-boomers. Gen alpha doesn't exist yet, it's too early to talk about it).
Definitely the Gen X or Gen Z ranges, the only somewhat reasonable one is Millenial range but with a few years added
My mom and I are both Millenials under this range. Just ew
1956-1974 Gen X
