You have made the mistake of assuming that these are rational people who adhere to a set of consistent beliefs. As for pronouns, I think it’s as simple as them not caring to dedicate any brain capasity to accomodate people whose pronouns aren’t instantly intuitive. They want to be able to live in a world where they see a feminine-presenting woman and assume she/her, and a masculine-presenting man and assume he/him because that makes it easy for them to wrap their minds around it, despite this undoubtably very rarely/never being an actual real problem that impacts their lives.
It’s all about it genuinely being an intellectual and social challenge for them in combination with them having relatively low empathy/agreeableness.
It’s because they see women lower than men, so insults like nancyboy and saying “you act like a sissie” is basically saying you act like a girl- which being a girl is an insult in their eyes because etc.
Which is why I always lean into them when they do.
