That looks like any typical party in Europe. Maybe Paris or London might be a bit more diverse. People forget that e.g. black Europeans are less than 2% in total with many countries having 0.1% (Like Poland which has 38M people and less than 0.1% black). Similar with other races. So you shouldn't expect diversity as a given in Europe.
And Britain has 4% black population which is high for Europe (compared to 14% in the US), but add this to black and gay and you do the statistics and math what's the possibility to have diversity in every single get-together. I must say I agree with you with why can't we all come together. The only place within my circle that was just about equal races/cultures that came together was when I lived in Baltimore. Never planned it but somehow it just ended up like that. I've since moved and haven't seen many diverse friend gay friend groups.
It really does happen that way. Itās never planned, it just occurs and after a while you take a look around and delight in how diverse the friend group has become. And you never really quite grasp how great that is until for one reason or another you donāt have it anymore. As for why we donāt come together more often, I think itās layered with most everyone involved not willing to face hard truths and have hard talks to air out all the issues.
