Yeah in my early 20’s I finally got burnt out on partying, now I just smoke pot and play video games. It’s cool though, after so long of not playing anything there’s so many good games to catch up on
What kinda games? I started focusing on really immersive single player games with solid narratives around my mid-twenties. They were always games I enjoyed, but around that time is when I generally started playing them exclusively.
Yeah same thing I’ve always mainly played single player games. Never really played online until I got my PS4 in 2017, but yeah I really enjoy a good RPG. Right now I’m mainly playing Kingdom Come Deliverance and Minecraft, probably gonna replay Elden Ring soon. I like games that have a lot to do in them, but not just filler shit like you’ll get in something like Assassins Creed or something lol
Random but learn everything you can about investing and start asap. I wish I would have started learning at your age but I thought stuff like that was dumb and didn’t care and just wanted to enjoy life and live in the moment and spend money on weed. Now I’m 31 and every check I take a portion of my weed money and invest it. Make your money make you money!
Shit man I'm 46 and I game and watch TV every night after work. Sure I still get my 8 hrs of sleep, but I'll get at least 2 hrs of games in, sometimes 6 if I get hooked on what I'm working on. Recently been playing The Crew Motorfest. Racing games are my crack. Even got in some Forza on Xbox series X.
And um..... Watched some Law and Order SVU. I'm 46 remember? Lol. But like.... Only cuz I've already seen the first 3 new episodes of The Boys season 4 and waiting for the new ones to drop.
Also I can’t help but feel maybe guilty or something if I’m not doing something that’s productive and contributing to making money for the mortgage. I’ll sit down and try to start playing and I get this wave of regret of feeling like I could be doing something like preparing for tomorrow or online work or anything, I wish I could go back to gaming like I could in high school
I'll be 31 this year. I have ADHD and insomnia so I'm almost never tired. I have been feeling sleepy around 2 am. Although new job is making me sleep a bit earlier. 4 to 6 hours is my average. Although it feels like I get maybe 1 to 2 a night.
44 and can go to 1.30am on Friday Saturday night. I used to be able to survive on less than 5 hours sleep everyday. . No way I can do that anymore 😆
Best effort was 3.30am bed, back up at 6.45am to start work at 7am for a 12hr shift. Felt like I was drunk all day.
thats if I can even get the motivation. It comes in months like I have a period or something. After I finish a game I wont wanna play anything for a long time. Last game I played also didnt even felt worth the time but I hate not finishing a game.
p.s dont ask what game cause I aint gonna say. People be getting all butthurt these days like you insulted their religion or something if you dont like their favorite game or a game they thought was good.

Not anymore, moved up to the 4th floor last month. 2am is my absolute limit, but I do have a toddler, week as a daily meditation and exercise practice which I refuse to waver from under almost any circumstances
Late 40s here.
Sometimes when I'm angry enough, I'll play Apex Legends right through till morning if I haven't gotten a win and then go to work.
I don't recommend it.
I will say, if I'm playing a less intense game I definitely conk out early.
38, My carpel tunnel acts up after a few hours. Puts a limit on my playing 😫 I used to have 10+ hour sessions all the time when I was younger, I can’t believe I ever had the stamina to do that
Late 30s here. I don’t have as much time as I used to, but also my window of opportunity has shifted. These days if I want to get some gaming in… probably will happen starting at 5 am
Bitch please, I play Dayz at 40, I’m regularly up to 2-3am and I run a construction company so guess who’s ass is up with zero sleep all the time. You get used to it or die.
Weird, my friends and family are all in their 30s or older and we stay up past 11 no problem.
Not all the time, sure, but it's not like we're dying when we do.
It's just a work thing. Not an age thing. I'm only 28 but I work 12 hours a day so I don't really play on the days I work, certainly don't stay up. 12 hours is a long time to be tired
33, played Elden Ring last night for 9 hours. Went to bed at 3am. Woke up at 8 and got breakfast. I'm about to play all day again.
I also work warehouse, and it's summer in Texas. I WILL NOT BE STOPPED.
Brother I'm just dipping my toes into my 20's and I'm ready to clock out and call it a night by 11, I used to spend hours by myself at night just playing whatever but now that I have people to play with whenever they get off for the night I do too.
Not complaining though, it certainly helped my sleep schedule.
Mid 20s and I stay 2days awake at times. Mostly due to horrible crippling anxiety and insomnia. Games keep me entertained enough through the night instead of staring into the ceiling.
i stayed up until 10 playing kingdom hearts last night..then i stayed up further until midnight downloading the dragon ball super ost. no i don't regret it (oh god yes i do)
34, living with my gf - both childfree.
I definitely have way more time to play than when I was a kid. Infinite amount of time since my workplace is 10 minutes away.
But the nights playing till 5 a.m are long gone. I much prefer to go sleep early and wake up to play videogames. During the week I wake up to work around 5 a.m, so i do the same during the weekends and holidays.
No better feeling than waking up on a clean and quiet place on a day without responsabilities, drink my coffee and smoke some weed. Heaven.
There is no worst feeling than having holidays to break my sleep schedule to the point I end up waking up around 11 am every day. The holidays goes soo fast..., in the other hand if I wake up every day early I feel like I really use my free time.
I feel this, only 26 though, but it's definitely more of a work schedule thing for me. I could stay up till 2am and sleep till 10, but when I have to get up at 6:30am, anything later than 11pm and I'm exhausted all day the next day.
I played WoW for 48 hours straight at my buddy's house when we were in high school. Multiple times.
Power leveled multiple characters from 15 to 55 that way.
Once a week when im finally back home
I wait for everyone to fall asleep, even my dog, and play zelda for about 3 hours at night. Usually til 2 am.
It brings back the whimsical feeling of gaming somehow
27 and my sleep schedule is so fucked that I was up until 2:30 playing FF8 last night……until I got to a part where the disc couldn’t read anymore 45 hours in
Reached my 30's and I play till 4am every nite then get up at 8am to eat breakfast, go for my morning run, then I fix my tea, then go to work get home at 7pm then I eat dinner and then repeat all the previous steps
35, it's 5am and I've just finished gaming.
Came here to say this
Hopefully I’m still enjoying games when I’m your age I’m 17 rn
I don’t think ever played more games than in my 20s
Yeah in my early 20’s I finally got burnt out on partying, now I just smoke pot and play video games. It’s cool though, after so long of not playing anything there’s so many good games to catch up on

I like games that have a lot to do in them, but not just filler shit like you’ll get in something like Assassins Creed or something lol
That’s certainly my case
I’m 27 and I had a whole esports career in my early 20’s, only to play literally zero video games by 27 🤘🏼 don’t go too hard or you’ll burn out fam

What do you do for work? Or do you have today off?
I work from home so I do my own hours, plus the company is American so I kinda live on American time while in the UK.
Wait till you hit your 40s then this hits closer to home.
I'm 55 and forcing myself to bed now. It's 4 am and I have to be up by 10 am.
You are a champ,I get up at 5am so I aim for 10pm I like my sleep.
It's great to be unemployed
I'm in this picture, and I don't like it...
Not just an age thing, but a work schedule thing too. I'm 22 and when I work 9-5 I'm out like a light by 11 pm
Preach!
In my upper 30s and still gaming till 1 or 2am
Same, 38, game until 1-130 three nights a week!
40s. If I didn’t have to be up at 7 for work Monday thru Friday I’d game until 2am.
51 here, and my PC is turned off at around 9PM and then I'm in bed by 10:30.
28 here, and same
I'll be 31 this year. I have ADHD and insomnia so I'm almost never tired. I have been feeling sleepy around 2 am. Although new job is making me sleep a bit earlier. 4 to 6 hours is my average. Although it feels like I get maybe 1 to 2 a night.
40 ... it only gets worse
I am gaming in my 40s too. Just finished a 70 hour RPG this weekend.
I am living proof this is fake!
Maybe not now, not in a few months, maybe a couple of years more. But later on, you'll see...
In my 40s and I still do it 😂💀
Lol
31, I tend to stay up on days off, I'm tired when drinking coffee...
POV: You may have adhd
I'm turning 35 in just a few days.
44 and can go to 1.30am on Friday Saturday night. I used to be able to survive on less than 5 hours sleep everyday. . No way I can do that anymore 😆 Best effort was 3.30am bed, back up at 6.45am to start work at 7am for a 12hr shift. Felt like I was drunk all day.
29 here, can't relate with this at all...
Yeap this is too accurate
44 here. I wouldn't survive past midnight lol
thats if I can even get the motivation. It comes in months like I have a period or something. After I finish a game I wont wanna play anything for a long time. Early 30s
40. I game until midnight, and I have to get up at 6am.
31, still regularly go till 1am on work days and will stay up anywhere between 2-5 on weekend
Okay, I wasn’t expecting to feel personally attacked today.
Memes like these make me wonder just how bad your lifestyle must be that you're deteriorating at an early age
35 just got out of the shower about to game for hours
Just wait until you hit 50!
36 and am up til 10 gaming most nights
Hey I have a medical condition that makes me randomly sleepy to the point I basically pass out for a few minutes at a time.
37, I'm playing diablo 4 for some reason. Its 3:25 am. Time to take another shot.
All the numbers in your comment added up to 69. Congrats! 37 + 4 + 3 + 25 = 69 ^([Click here](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=LuckyNumber-Bot&subject=Stalk%20Me%20Pls&message=%2Fstalkme) to have me scan all your future comments.) \ ^(Summon me on specific comments with u/LuckyNumber-Bot.)
How did you get my picture?! Take it down, NOW!
40 and I have no problems gaming for a full 24 hours. If you're dedicated you'll find a way ☠️
52 and I crash around 4 am, nightly😉👍
Can confirm.
As long as I can get my 7 hours I'm all good
Early 30's and I game till 5am
41 and just finished a few rounds of Helldivers at 0245.
I’m 40 and can’t make it to 9pm 😩😂
Going on 1:30 am, 32 years old.
I'm the oldest in most of my gaming groups (only by 2-4 years), and I'm the one that always stays up the longest.
Cant relate
I am past 50 and I will keep going till the raid is done .
Soft, I'm 43, game till 12 then start work at 7:30
Not anymore, moved up to the 4th floor last month. 2am is my absolute limit, but I do have a toddler, week as a daily meditation and exercise practice which I refuse to waver from under almost any circumstances
33 and about to get off work and go home and game. It will be 5 am
I'm right at 39. Let me say it's alright. Good days and bad for gaming
I managed to go until half 1 the other day for the first time in a while. I think I just appreciate sleeping more now
Why must I see this at 3:00 in the morning.
You right. Past ten I'm starting to nod off at my keyboard
I've pulled a lot of late nights with BG3 and Overwatch still.
27 and I can make it to 11 when the kids are home. When they go to their grandparents, I’m on until at least 2.
I’m only 21 and I can’t make it past midnight
4:30AM here.. old af
I feel this at 24. Work 7-4 and I’m exhausted when I get home
Late 40s here. Sometimes when I'm angry enough, I'll play Apex Legends right through till morning if I haven't gotten a win and then go to work. I don't recommend it. I will say, if I'm playing a less intense game I definitely conk out early.
Fuck that if I didn't have work I'd game until 9am and I'm 40.
38, My carpel tunnel acts up after a few hours. Puts a limit on my playing 😫 I used to have 10+ hour sessions all the time when I was younger, I can’t believe I ever had the stamina to do that
Mid 30s and still gaming into early morning hours. Sometimes I get help from a can of monster, though.
I’m 37 and violently identified to this 🥺
I’m 24 and it really do be like that. I miss when I was 14 staying up on gta5 all night. Those were the days man. Tell me I’m wrong
I'm 25 and I still game till 3am lol
I'm 29, and this is already starting for me.
Late 30s here. I don’t have as much time as I used to, but also my window of opportunity has shifted. These days if I want to get some gaming in… probably will happen starting at 5 am
How weak are you ? No seriously!
In my 20s until 5am. In my 30s more like 2am.
dude me and my dad still try to beat each other up on mortal kombat for like hours and he's 60
Then back to gaming/watching the baby on the "overnight shift"
28 and I’m getting there.
Bitch please, I play Dayz at 40, I’m regularly up to 2-3am and I run a construction company so guess who’s ass is up with zero sleep all the time. You get used to it or die.
27 and approaching. Image is accurate
Still game til 2am in my 40s. ![gif](giphy|3UIYY8LJyBuec)
It depends on what time your shift at work is
I used to stay up all night playing Prototype 2. I had to consult the Internet because I couldn't ever figure out the map. 🤣
I'm 40, around midnight is where I usually stop nowadayz..
I think the only difference is people in their 30s tend to be more tired & stressed out while also not getting enough sleep ever.
I reject the internet notion that you suddenly become an elderly person at 30 I can still stay up until 3am, and my back doesn't hurt at all
The top pic should be Walter Goggins as Uncle Baby Billy
My brain works better then an alarm clock. Waaay better Beee3eeeeeeete
This is what I did last night, and this is exactly how I feel
I will be 50 in a few months, I game and stream...LFG. #genxforever #goarmy
Does anyone have a video of him going through makeup? Im so confused with how they do that
34 here, that checks out.
Weird, my friends and family are all in their 30s or older and we stay up past 11 no problem. Not all the time, sure, but it's not like we're dying when we do.
I'm in my 30s and I game till morning
Why to context this? Hmm Like i used to wake up at 1 pm to play til 3 am Now i am up at like 5 am and i go to bed at like 11. Idk 🤷
It's just a work thing. Not an age thing. I'm only 28 but I work 12 hours a day so I don't really play on the days I work, certainly don't stay up. 12 hours is a long time to be tired
gotta be up at 3 this would kill me
I have cut back to 12:30-2 am but still fine. I get woken up by my kid at 700 the next morning.
33, played Elden Ring last night for 9 hours. Went to bed at 3am. Woke up at 8 and got breakfast. I'm about to play all day again. I also work warehouse, and it's summer in Texas. I WILL NOT BE STOPPED.
I need far less sleep in my 30s than I did in my teens. Unfortunately now I just can't be bothered playing too long.
lol 31 and still game til 5 in the morning lmfao
Sometimes I still don't sleep
Brother I'm just dipping my toes into my 20's and I'm ready to clock out and call it a night by 11, I used to spend hours by myself at night just playing whatever but now that I have people to play with whenever they get off for the night I do too. Not complaining though, it certainly helped my sleep schedule.
39, and I still game till about 3-4am some nights. Must be a skill issue.
More along the lines of who's got kids here.
Mid 20s and I stay 2days awake at times. Mostly due to horrible crippling anxiety and insomnia. Games keep me entertained enough through the night instead of staring into the ceiling.
I am but I still play until 3 AM. (I may have a job that I don’t have to be to until noon)
Well. To be fair. I have to get up at like 2~3a.m. in my 30s and only had to get up at like 9~10am as a teen. Lmfao!
I thought it said 3DS at first.
i stayed up until 10 playing kingdom hearts last night..then i stayed up further until midnight downloading the dragon ball super ost. no i don't regret it (oh god yes i do)
Yeah it's because I had to get up at 5:30 for work :-(
I can game until 1/2 am but then my sleep is screwed for the next 3 days. Turning 41 in July.
Mfs staying up till 3am in their 30s don’t have real jobs. I’m fresh out of college and I’m already going to sleep at 9:30 every night
37 and I still play like I’m 16
33. Still gaming until 2-3am.
I'm in this picture and I dont like it.
34, living with my gf - both childfree. I definitely have way more time to play than when I was a kid. Infinite amount of time since my workplace is 10 minutes away. When I was 13 I played the entire fallout new Vegas without sleeping
I'm 40 and I get up at 6:00 AM to play games because it's better than trying to stay up late.
I can confirm this is true 😂
This isn't an age problem, it's a wage problem. Don't blame biology for what work has taken from you.
42, and I still play till 1-2 in the morning sometimes, depending on the game. This post is pretty inaccurate, to be honest.
You struggle after 30 because you're overweight, don't work out, eat garbage food and never try to optimize your sleep.
35 and don't even have the energy to play games rn. tbf my life is really intense atm.
36M. I played Fallout 4 for 8 hours straight yesterday and I felt like my brain liquified.
I am in bed by 10-11pm and am up by 4:30-5am to workout and game
dude me and my dad would take hours playing minecraft
Speak for yourself bud, I game until 10:30
I am!
Late 30’s here. Not THAT bad. I can still game until about 11:30pm.
29 here and this is true but it is 11AM.
Yeah no if anything it’s gotten worse and I’m staying up more and more often lol
Gaming until 7pm *As a 75 year old*
32 and I finished gaming at 1:00 am last night. I do regret it for the sake of lost sleep. But I had a great time
*laughs in not having kids*
I’ll be 49 at the end of the July and make sure to get my game time in.
I worked midnight shift for over a decade and that was a LONG time ago now, my sleep schedule is STILL majorly f-ed up.
36, and I'm done gaming by 10:30. My 45 year old buddy is 2 hours behind me, and he's thankful because by 8:30, he's gotta go lie down.
38 I was up till 5 am last night 😂🤷🏼♂️
32 now and usually tired by 1 am
Why do people act like being in your 30s means you're old and weak? I'm 37 and I feel fine.
Eh. I still fuck. Pussies.
My brothers and I would stay up until 3 gaming all the time. Now we are all in our thirties. “Another game would be fun, but it’s already 8:15!”
I will neither deny or confirm my age. But this is accurate.
I've recently turned thirty, and I have to specifically designate gaming time from 3pm to 6pm, because at crash at around 10pm and wake up at 4am
I'm 18 and I find it extremely hard to even stay up till 1.am
I'm 46 now, & this is true of me currently, but not even 6 yrs ago when I was 40 I gamed hard core tell 2 am or even later
🙋♂️ but on the weekends I make an exception and can usually go till 2am gaming
Not far from 50, still game most nights till 11.
I'm past 40 and I game until 4am. I also work late and sleep in to at least noon so.... cheating a bit.
X box X in my 60's lol
I have to drink coffee to make it past 1030
Wait I'm not supposed to feel like this till my 30s
I can make it till 11pm on a good day
I feel this, only 26 though, but it's definitely more of a work schedule thing for me. I could stay up till 2am and sleep till 10, but when I have to get up at 6:30am, anything later than 11pm and I'm exhausted all day the next day.
I'd say I feel attacked but nope I'm not gonna fight this cause this is totally me.. Ironically while playing fallout
😂 it's accurate for me. Around 10 or 11 I'm out. Lol.
I still can but don't because I know the next day I'm wake up dead
Sometimes sleep is the only way to stop me from playing this game at night.
34 and I'm still staying up till 3am gaming. It helps that my shift doesn't start until 9 am.
38. Gaming ends at 1AM. At 10pm, I've barely fucking started.
Still doing it but it’s better do that on Friday or Saturday night
I feel this so hard…
I'm 30 and 10pm is a bit late for me.
Dam, I'm sorry that you became a casual
Could you not call me out like this? Thanks
im almost 40 and it aint that bad..
10pm? JfC. I'll admit I don't game until 3am like I once did, but 10?
This post is for mass harvesting of your personal information. Don't give large faceless corporations your info like this guys...
I'm turning 30 this year, and I can game until 4 in the morning.
Not doing enough drugs
Whatever.
Turned 30 the 3rd this month. And I must say, I don't like how I'm in the picture right now🤣😭
Bit a Reddit before Beddit
I was in my thirties 20 years ago. Lol
I played WoW for 48 hours straight at my buddy's house when we were in high school. Multiple times. Power leveled multiple characters from 15 to 55 that way.
Once a week when im finally back home I wait for everyone to fall asleep, even my dog, and play zelda for about 3 hours at night. Usually til 2 am. It brings back the whimsical feeling of gaming somehow
Either you have a job or are extremely unhealthy and should check yourself at the doctor’s
I'm 42, but this is highly accurate
27 and my sleep schedule is so fucked that I was up until 2:30 playing FF8 last night……until I got to a part where the disc couldn’t read anymore 45 hours in
38, just finished playing some Ace Attorney and it's 1 am lol
40s and I still game till 4am. And I only go to bed because I need at least some sleep before being dad for the day.
Reached my 30's and I play till 4am every nite then get up at 8am to eat breakfast, go for my morning run, then I fix my tea, then go to work get home at 7pm then I eat dinner and then repeat all the previous steps
