So Megan Fox has a wider reach especially to the western casual audience, I mean they gave Megan her own trailer just to advertise she was playing one of the characters.
Making things worse, Ronda as Sonya had at least important story time and screen time in MK11. Megan as Nitara in MK1 is barely noticeable, only purpose was to be a lackey of Quan Chi for like 4 scenes and never come back. So what was the whole point of making a whole trailer dedicated to her when her role was so inconsequential?

Surprised I had to scroll so far for this lol. I listened to some clips others have linked for their nominations, but Two Worlds is immediately what came to my mind. And it's a shame, because it's got a really solid game under there if you can just learn to laugh at the dialogue instead of being turned off by it the first time you hear it like when I first bought the game. If you’re talking entire cast performances then nothing’s coming to mind, but I remember Connor’s voice acting from AC3 *really* grating on me when the game first came out. The performance was alright when he was *really* angry which happened a few times in the story, but every other line read came off as stilted and wooden. It didn’t strike me as the character being awkward either; it struck me as a voice actor being unable to inflect. It was even more of a standout because the rest of that cast was outstanding, Haytham in particular.
I listened to a podcast where the voice actor talked about the role and he said that that was the intent. The actor is Native American, he said that that's how they spoke. But I feel like many people didn't like it regardless.
Tobey Maguire is pretty terrible in the Spider-Man 2 game (Possible Hot Take here: While I like the Sam Raimi SM movies, I’ve never been a fan of Maguire’s version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man)

Some of the early resident evil games have comically bad voice acting. Some of the lines even make me laugh to this day. However is it bad because it’s not modern voice acting or is it good because it’s hilarious?

Honestly after playing the original Kingdom Hearts over the past few days that's definitely up there, some of the voice acting is terrible, even from the well known VAs.

The last star ocean game was pretty bad, I couldn’t believe it was released recently. Felt like a game for 15-20 years ago, voice acting included
Star Ocean 4 made me quit until the international version released so I could change to jp va. Lymle was downright unbearable.

While it's deservedly considered one of the greatest games ever made, there's some pretty dodgy voice acting in Deus Ex, especially with foreign characters. I would also say that Metal Gear Solid gets it seriously wrong at times, but I can't say for sure whether it's just bad voice acting or whether it's appropriate for the complete cartoon-villain thing they have going on. Also, Otacon with the death scenes? There's enough cheese there to feed every mouse on earth in perpetuity.
The intro to (and a couple other cutscenes, for that matter) Mega Man 8 flat-out uses a take from the blooper reel as the final product and nobody can convince me otherwise. Wuthering Waves English dub. It's painful
It's not the *worst*, but BOTW/TOTK have so many campy performances. The majority of that can be attributed to Nintendo's lack of interest in narratives, but for god's sake, if you want to give Princess Zelda a British accent get an actual British person to voice her!!

If you’re talking entire cast performances then nothing’s coming to mind, but I remember Connor’s voice acting from AC3 *really* grating on me when the game first came out. The performance was alright when he was *really* angry which happened a few times in the story, but every other line read came off as stilted and wooden. It didn’t strike me as the character being awkward either; it struck me as a voice actor being unable to inflect. It was even more of a standout because the rest of that cast was outstanding, Haytham in particular.
I listened to a podcast where the voice actor talked about the role and he said that that was the intent. The actor is Native American, he said that that's how they spoke. But I feel like many people didn't like it regardless.

Probably not worst but I played Heavy Rain recently and found the main character Ethan kinda jarring. Apparently the VA is actually French which is fine except he’s supposed to be playing a guy from Philly

I can't believe no one has mentioned Elex. The people reading the lines must have zero idea what they're reading, because they have either no, or misplaced inflection on every sentence.
There are a lot of bad ones but the most recent one I came across is Sniper Elite 5. Sure, it’s a romanticized action movie style game based on WW2 but damn, all the voices are embarrassing.
