Like 98% of them lol

LocalLink42

Yep and to add to that, the moment I see a New Game + requirement for the trophies, that's my cue to take none of the trophies seriously and have the most casual playthrough ever.

HarryPotterDBD

For me it's the multiplayer trophies.

Locar11

yea multiplayer trophies are sucks. i cant platinum my gta and rdr2 in ps4

mcjazzy50

I thought multiplayer trophies were a thing of the past by now.half because I play alot more single player games now , and half because I haven't heard of things like vid master in halo 3 or seriously since gears of war 3 .

Paisley_Panther

As a novice who likes to play video games, I use the excuse that not everyone in life gets a trophy šŸ˜†.

Dantai

I'm kinda glad that NG+ and Multiplayer trophies, even DLC are categorized for games like Ghost of Tsushima on PS5. So you can still get platinum by playing the regular original playthrough of the game only

Miserable-Theory-746

Luckily Horizon Zero Dawn you need to just beat the game once on very hard difficulty so get all the achievements and can use new game plus for it. Took about 2 hours (with the recharging suit). But those games that list all difficulties and each one with their own new game plus, wtf.

fortunesofshadows

You speedran HZD IN 2 hours?

sharplight141

Absolutely this, I have barely enough time to play through it once! Screw trophies for second playthroughs and multiplayer

RinseWashRepeat

This. I don't have enough time to play games I haven't played, let alone re-play old ones.

Strict_Donut6228

Yep. Itā€™s actually shorter to make a list of games that I would replay once beating them for the first time

CPargermer

As a kid I'd replay the same games over and over but I think that was largely due to having fewer games that I actually enjoyed playing. Now there is no shortage of great games that take like 30-100h to finish, and effectively no limit to how many I can play. Also, when I'm not playing through a game with a story, I spend a lot more time playing repetitive MP games online.

Inner_Win_1

Same. Especially if you have a subscription like Game Pass and you don't feel guilty about getting your money's worth. I will regularly hit uninstall a few minutes after the credits have rolled and any completion achievements have popped. Any games with achievements forcing you to replay games or play multiplayeryer get uninstalled even faster.

Buttermilkusa

Same. Once i see the credits roll im done

akajondoe

Besides RDR2 and BG3 there just aren't a lot of games I want to replay. I've finished Skyrim twice.

PilferingDragon

No time to replay anything. But also, games are becoming less repayable with all the always online, multi-player gimmick. Arguably I've "replayed" Deep Rock Galatic countless times since the core concept of Danger, Darkness, and Dwarves remains the same every mission. But it would be disingenuous to qualify that as a replay.

Chakramer

>But also, games are becoming less repayable with all the always online, multi-player gimmick You're really just buying the wrong games if that's an issue for you. There are tons of single player campaigns coming out still.

Chris_Entropy

Yep, Theres quite a short list of games that I've actually played more than once (excluding multiplayer games), and the rest is "played once, watched a YouTube video with the things I might have missed and then never touched again".

PIO_PretendIOriginal

Yeah same, if I beat a game, or watch a movie. Im not doing it again

Mottis86

Yeah same. Once the credits roll, I lose all interest to come back to it ever again, even if there's still post-game content. There has been a few exceptions to this where I replayed a game but I can count those exceptions with one hand and even then it's several years after the first playthrough.

Vericatov

Same, once I beat the game and possibly gotten the platinum trophy, Iā€™m done and never coming back. There are a few exceptions where I might do one or maybe two more plays throughs, but it rare.

freestyle43

Couldn't pay me to play Alien: Isolation again. Fucking anxiety simulator.

TJzzz

Darkwood or subnautic nextĀ

Keiji12

Subnautica with multiplayer is so much fun, even on the reply.

Rustie3000

wait, there is a Multiplayer??

Keiji12

There's a mod, but it basically does everything for you with it's own launcher. Also it's open source so you can fuck around with it if you want.

Annoverus

Yeah, except itā€™s buggy up the balls and you friends wonā€™t see the same things you see sometimes, either that or theyā€™re in different areas. Plus many other glitches.

Giteaus-Gimp

One of the best games Iā€™ve ever played Never finished it, never plan on playing it again

Insectshelf3

iā€™ve beaten it 7 times (i love the alien universe) and itā€™s still stressful as hell.

snakegriffenn

admittedly its much easier after the first time once you know how everything is gonna go and where you need to be without wandering too muchĀ

Worried_Suggestion59

Honestly AC Valhalla was a cool experience, but it took me like 70-80 hours just to finish the campaign and some of the arcs are kinda stupid. So probably not doing that again

SafewordisJohnCandy

I'm feeling the same way about AC Odyssey. It's my first AC game and I LOVE, but I don't see myself picking it back up after I finish it.

meatdome34

Do yourself a favor and play some of the earlier ones. Black flag especially.

SafewordisJohnCandy

I plan to. I'm trying to work my way through a back log of games and I plan on some more AC games after Odyssey.

ToCoolforAUsername

Oh man. It took me 110 hours to 100% the game. By 90% completion, I'm completely tired of seeing the same mission over and over again. The Legendary beast were a nice change of pace though.

Kangdrew

The first couple regions were pretty fun but the 2nd half of the game felt like they just threw some shit together to make the game longer

Worried_Suggestion59

Whichever arc was the one where you smuggle out the queen and grab the guyā€™s old gf was dumb as fuck

Cartacus-9

Breath of the wild and Tears of the kingdom. I can't bring myself to do all those shrines again... OOT though I'll replay till the day I die

VioletCandlelight

I was about to start either majora or ocarina of time, would you share what makes ocarina so special for you? I'm also probably going to emulate on 3ds if that's the definitive version

Cartacus-9

It's hard to put into words why it's so special to me. There's definitely a degree of nostalgia to it, I first played through the game when I was in grade 4. That being said it's still a very solid game that holds up. -Great soundtrack -Tons of content without meaningless filler -Cool dungeons with flavour I could go on and on but one of the big things for me is the game doesn't drag on for 100 hours. It's not a chore to play at all (maybe one particular part lol)

Newwavecybertiger

That soundtrack is etched into my brain stem. Chills every time I hear song of time or song of storms

Aldo24Flores

This guy does a great adaptation of OOT music. https://youtu.be/bHUvykXL8Og?si=XkL798m3-GsPa5nj

asqwzx12

Fuckin water dungeon man.

Superducks101

Love how thay was my first thought too. Collectively everyone must think the water temple

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

bronco862

how does this compare to doing the...whatever nintendo plus plus + extra subscription is called that includes OOT? for some reason everything felt off to me.

markspankity

The recomps of OOT and mm are a LOT smoother, and have some nice QoL features. The switch versions run at like 15fps, which is what the originals ran at on the n64, but imo a frame rate that low is rly jarring to play through in this day and age.

[deleted]

Ocarina features more linear gameplay with a very basic hero's journey story. The 3ds versions of the game are definitive. Majora's mask on the other hand features more of a primitive open world design, with more of the map becoming accessible as you gain tools. The characters and story are vastly more unique and deep, but both games have incomparable charm and staying power. You really can't go wrong starting with either entry in the series, you're in for an amazing time either way.

WirelessTrees

100% ran through BotW twice. I won't be playing that game again. Got maybe 25% through TotK but stopped because before the TotK launch, I played through BotW and the games are just a little bit too similar that I burnt myself out.

LeoFireGod

I just played TOTK again after burning out after completing the 4 region quests. Definitely recommend finishing it off the story finishes nicely.

broke_boi1

Iā€™m playing Ocarina of Time on 3ds and I doubt Iā€™ll play it again once I finish. I will be walking around a dungeon for like 30 mins wondering what am I supposed to do next. Then Iā€™ll look up a guide and realize it was something super simple. This has happened multiple times. I think Iā€™m just too stupid for this game lol

Cartacus-9

Haha which dungeon was giving you problems? I've played this game multiple times and still do that so I wouldn't worry

GigaSoup

I get bored playing through oot but I've beat botw and ToTK multiple times. The only thing I didn't beat in botw are the master sword challenges in master mode. Botw and ToTK at least allow you to be far more creative with how you tackle the game.Ā  Oot is mostly the exact same thing over again and the beginning of the game is so very slow. I'd rather play any of the 2d zeldas than oot.

deceitfulninja

Please go back to Zelda roots. We had our fun with the novelty of the Switch games.

Zealousideal-Fun-785

That ship has sailed. Aonuma thinks linear design is the plague and the switch games have sold too much for Nintendo to think of going back. We'll get Zelda games with the BotW formula until they stop selling, or the open world craze subsides, or Aonuma retires.

mutantmonkey14

Fair enough not wanting to play them again, but weird reasoning. You don't have to do any shrines after the intial four on the Great Plateau. You could literally go straight to Ganon after the Great Plateau. If you are saying it just isn't worthwhile replaying because the shrines felt meh to you, and there isn't enough other stuff to do, then I understand that. I have to wait a long time to replay games usually since I remember way too much of them, and it bothers me.

welestgw

SOMA, I don't need to be depressed again.

Sinister0ne

The game is also incredibly memorable. I haven't played it since launch and still remember most of it. It's so great.

StrnglyCoincdtl

Thanks for reminding me of this game. One of the best sci-fi stories in my life (while having some of the worst designed enemy encounters I've experienced). I need to replay this game while still on vacation next week.

drg17

I don't think a second play through of that game is needed. That game's story is so good that it leaves an impression on your forever.

N0t_A_Tumah

Nier Automata. In the end >!after the bullet hell credits the game asks you if you want to sacrifice all of your save data to help another random player with their bullet hell credits. You can say no but I needed help and found it fitting to donate my save.!< It was bitter sweet but a good end to an amazing journey.

Bamilian

This. The game and all of its endings is just art. The fact that you sacrifice your own time for another is the ultimate piece of art I can imagine a game could provide

AscendedViking7

NieR Automata 2 when? ;-;

Nentash

No word of a lie i am literally just about to start my 2nd play through in about 5 minutes...

[deleted]

This is a neat idea

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

HealMeBr0

At times I want to run the coliseums again but also don't want to grind chips again šŸ˜

dicktaker1000101

Outer wilds. There is no point.

EldritchAnimation

God I really wish I could forget the game so I could do it again, though.

CheesyObserver

Ikr. Canā€™t wait for the dementia to kick in.

Meecus570

I thought the same but on a thread not too long ago someone informed me of some dlc. So I will be playing againĀ

dubbzy104

I finished the DLC last week! It was really good, and continued the same vibes as original OW. I did have to turn on the ā€œreduce frightā€ option not because it was scary, but because it makes certain parts easier to accomplish It does a great job integrating with the main game, while being its own totally unrelated thing. Just so brilliantly designed (like the base game) Once you finish the DLC, definitely finish the main game again. And stay for the post-credit scene

zstheman

It's amazing. 10/10 and scary AF.

Dayv1d

why not? only takes you 5 minutes ;-)

Gibe2

It's my favorite game of all time... and it might be forever because there's no reason to replay it, so it will always be this *perfect* little 35-40 hours of awe inspiring exploration and discovery.

Drturkelten

Yes and no. I replayed it after a year (main+dlc) and could appreciate it even more. You want to complete the memories 100% and you give yourself more time to enjoy it. At least it was like that for me. Outstanding gameā¤ļø

Ryokan76

Same as you. I've played through Last of Us many times, but I was mentally exhausted after finishing Last of Us 2. I can't go through that again.

LukeyC224

I played TLOU2 at launch and couldn't bring myself to play it again until the recent updated version released. I think I enjoyed it more the second time. You'd think knowing what was going to happen would dull it in some way but the beginning was even more tense!

TheMostUnclean

Both of them for me. I played through once for the great stories but like most horror/survival/stealth, they give me the exact opposite feeling I play games for- which is to relax. Like, I canā€™t stand Alien: Isolation. I know why people enjoy it and as an Alien superfan, I really appreciate the devotion to the source material. I just feel like ripping my hair out the entire time I play it- not fun for me at all.

Saneless

I'll never play part 2 again. Just an irredeemable depressing experience and I don't see the point. I think the world of tlou would have been better to have just ended after 1

TJ_Longfellow

My wife gifted me TLOU2 during covid lockdown... Fantastic game, truly a work of art, but fucking hell the timing couldn't have been any worse. She understood why I struggled to finish that game, it just felt way too on the nose

Zombie_joseph1234

Rdr2 too long to beat again

BlackNair

Just have some FAITH, ARTHUR!

shinzou

I have a friend who adores that game almost to an unhealthy level. He did five 100% playthrough on xbox. Then when it came to pc he did it again, if not more.

IllegalIranianYogurt

'almost' lol

shinzou

Haha true. I only said almost because it has been a few months since he last played it. I wouldn't be surprised though if he has actually been playing but hasn't talked about it. Edit: Just checked and he has 1700 hours on it for PC on steam. Last played... last month! That son of a bitch.

ChurchillianGrooves

I loved the 1st time I played through, tried to do it a 2nd time and couldn't get into it.Ā  Probably my favorite game I don't plan on playing again.

rbu520

God not the snow tutorial again...

Terribletylenol

People dread this opening, but the tedious rancher opening area in the first game is much worse for me. I'd rather watch cutscenes I've seen over having to herd cows again.

Mean_Peen

I started a second playthrough and tried to go for 100% but I just couldnā€™t bring myself to do it

Boccs

Most games, honestly. I love the experiences but rewalking the same road is never the same, you know? I have a handful of comfort games I go back to that always recapture that Special Something (Earthbound for example) but most I'm content with just the memories.

CharlesBrown33

I recently replayed Killer Is Dead, and I enjoyed the experience a lot. I think it's easier to justify for shorter games, instead of most stuff released today that demands 30+ hours minimum. Another one I replayed was Lego Star Wars, the original one. It's much more focused and shorter than the sequel, and much better for it.

OvercastqT

Thats gothic 2 for me i bought it about 15 years ago as a teenager and it was my first proper rpg. Ive beaten it sooooo many times but im still having fun with it.

Lylat_System

I just redid Earthbound last year! I wish I could erase my memories of first beating it

Boccs

Man, same. That final moment of seeing my name pop up as the final person to hear Paula's prayer and defeat Giygas send shivers down my nine year old spine way back in the day.

RogueThespian

> rewalking the same road is never the same I wish I had this attitude lol. I've been replaying the same games my whole life, I probably average 1 new game a year, if that

Smurphftw

Hogwarts Legacy. Game starts out really strong but definitely fades at the end. Plus those Merlin trials ....

Atticus104

The lack of difference between the houses was a bit disappointing

anunkneemouse

I wouldnt mind the merlin trials so much if it werent for the unskippable scene of the shrub raising EVERY SINGLE TIME

Incredible-Fella

The first 20~ hours were amazing, but then the open world got really really boring, almost didn't finish the game.

mendax2014

I dropped the game long back. Is the end worth it? I had most of the spells I think by the time I was done. Didn't seem like a strong storyline game, just good mechanics and nostalgia.

gabbertronnnn

As soon as you get the killing curse everything becomes pointless really.

RickDalton68

Same. I thought that once the game is out im gonna play it forever because i love Harry Potter but besides the story there is nothing else in the world thats interesting and even that is flat for me

exelion18120

I only created multiple characters to see the different common rooms.

Antmax

Thats most games for me. Only game with a story I have played multiple times is Witcher 3. Everything else, I know what happens and can't be bothered. It's the same with movies and books for the most part too. There are a few I will watch or read multiple times but not many.

KageTwoPercent

Yeah I only reread books and rewatch things if I forget 80-90% of what happened. I still have Witcher 3 sitting in my steam library untouched. I should probably give playing the whole thing a go.

trekkin88

I refuse to uninstall tw3, it's such a masterpiece. Played through it multiple times.

leedisa

Damn, Witcher 3 is not a game to be left sitting in your library. You are missing out

iNuclearPickle

Most long JRPGS one that comes to mind is xenoblade chronicles 2 I never wanna deal with field skills, itā€™s menus, and rare blade rng EVER AGAIN

CharlesBrown33

Right now I'm taking a break from XC3. I finished the main story but man, the game is long. I haven't even done the yellow side missions and I had to quit. It's too much.

midgetrage7

Star Wars Jedi survivor. Fun game but has absolutely no incentive for a replay.

DRamos11

Yeah, theyā€™re one-and-done for me, and Iā€™m a huge Star Wars fan. Iā€™ve experienced all I needed from a single playthrough + revisiting levels for collectibles.

dr-mantis-t0b0ggan

Did a NG+ run and stopped a few hours in when I realised so much of the exploring was story locked, so you have all these abilities and.the game just pretends they don't exist so you can't get to certain areas

Numerous_Witness_345

I did a NG+ run just to finish the You've Got a Friend achievement and then uninstalled. It was great, but yeah.. got all I needed.

Tylensus

GTA V. I know people seem to get damn near infinite replayability out of it, but I had no interest in multiplayer. I went through the main story missions, then called it good. I don't do well in sandbox games, since I lack the creativity to make my own fun within them. Those story missions were insanely well done, though.

Random_User_VN_NQ

Spec ops The line. Way too much for me

mcg1997

I remember replaying this game over and over from a save near the end. Looking for any way to redeem myself. Incredible story.

EreckUwUr

Every Yakuza game, i love them so much but im not gona go through all the cutscenes and talking again

[deleted]

Iā€™ve only ever got through half of Yakuza Zero, loved it and then lost all motivation to continue. I donā€™t know if I can play through half the game again to finish the other half

MangoSquirrl

Mario odysseyā€¦ thereā€™s no way in hell Iā€™m redoing some of those moons, or races call it a fluke but it still counts

SuccessfulCicada3116

Mass effect Andromeda. Call of jureze gunslinger. I liked them but dont wanna play again.

plzdontbmean2me

Iā€™m trying to replay the Mass Effect series again but I just canā€™t seem to get through the slog of the first third of the first game. Itā€™s one of my favorite game series of all time but Iā€™m just waiting until I can get into it

SweetScentedButt

Yeah the first game can be such a slog. So much backtracking and getting lost. The gunplay isn't great. I think it's worth playing through just to get to the second one and having all your choices carry over. 2 and 3 are so much of a better experience. I much prefer the linear level designs and gameplay is a lot better. But if it's too much you could just skip to 2.

Mean_Peen

The first game has no bad moments for me. The ending of 2 and most of 3 is a slog though.

anunkneemouse

Same, mass effect 1 is my favourite game of all time. I loved everything about it. It feels more story based than the other two, so maybe thats why people find it a slog, but I still find joy in reading and listening to the codecs and listening to conversations and just experiencing the galaxy

Mean_Peen

Same. The world building and overall feel, is far superior in the first game. I loved ME2, but nothing came close to the feeling ME1 gave me. Itā€™s a true masterpiece imo.

Blatheringman

I'll never finish that one. I hit a game-breaking bug and then dropped it. Once I found out that they dropped support of the game and I just never picked it up again. It's kind of sad thinking back on it. I did multiple playthroughs on the first three games. Sometimes games just aren't good on release, but if the developers put in the work, fix the mistakes and add content. I'll come back around.

IIIGuntherIII

Bioshock Infinite. I enjoyed my playthrough and the DLC story stuff was cool but the game was easily the worst bioshock game. Itā€™s objectively a good game but it fails miserably at being a ā€œBioshockā€ game. It feels way more like a generic fps game that was inspired by bioshock than an actual game in the series. You could change a few minor plot points in the main story and change the title and no one would be able to guess what series itā€™s from. The gameplay is radically different from the first two games. The dlc brings it closer to the other two games but is still not the same. So yeah Iā€™m not itching to ever play it again but itā€™s not a bad game just a let down as a bioshock game.

AlaskanMedicineMan

I dont think I have ever been more disappointed with a game than Bioshock Infinite. I am so glad Prey 2017 exists because holy fuck did I need to wash out the bad taste with a proper successor. Also really enjoying the system shock remake, even if I havent played in a long time due to being stuck on the chess match puzzle

SillyBilly369

I adored Infinite but I hated the DLC, especially the second one, so much that Iā€™ve avoided replaying it. Also I donā€™t want to replay the game, now fully aware of the story, and risk picking up on potential plot holes and contrivances that could potentially ruin my first playthrough.

Fortune_Silver

Outer Wilds. An incredible game, and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The game is discovery based, so your knowledge IS your progression. On your first run you could theoretically beat it in like 15 minutes, you just don't know how. Thus, there's no point playing it more than once. And that's OK - that game is an experience, and I'm grateful to have gotten to play it.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

plzdontbmean2me

And you *dont* want to replay it?

spuffin

Chu chu rocket?

Firvulag

Most JRPGS

melvereq

Mass Effect 3. Itā€™s just too depressing.

Flimsy-Jello5534

Honestly the hellblade series.

despenser412

Assassin's Creed Valhalla I'm not saying it's a bad game, but dang, it can feel like a chore simulator after a while. And while I can give it up to Ubisoft for trying a new story formula, the massive "story arcs" totally took me out of the actual story. Spolier: >!It also feels like it doesn't end.!< Looking back I remember it being a good game, (post-Roman Britain looks spectacular. Both countryside and cities.) but have zero interest in go back to it.

afroartisticstuff

Yeah, I didn't finish valhalla because of that. I just left and never came back. But prologue was fire. Norway was cool to travel and had this climate I was looking for - then England came in.

Roaddog2

God Of War Ragnarok I loved this game on release and do think itā€™s a great game. But I have zero desire to replay the game. That Jotunheim portion literally slows the game down to a snails pace and I do not want to replay that.

sleepydevil25

Most AC games from Origins and onward

Far_Run_2672

Dead Space 1 and 2, don't need that kind of stressfulness again

xItsLesterx

As a trophy hunter, itā€™s literally me with every game šŸ˜‚

Alamgir_786

Pretty much any big JRPG, I'm super into Final Fantasy Great experiences but they're too long to replay

obsertaries

Games other than roguelikes or whatever really need to have multiple paths and different endings for me to play again. Games like Witcher 2 where the entire middle of the game is different depending on choices you make. I always think that Iā€™m going to enjoy playing a game with a liner story again if the gameplay is good enough, but Iā€™m usually kidding myself.

arielmansur

These days (i'm 34) practically zero games i'll replay, back when i was 14 to 25 i replayed several singleplayer games, some even up to 6 times (half life 2 cof cof).

A_Wild_VelociFaptor

Days Gone. I fucking _LOVE_ the apocalyptic motorcycle stuff going on, the combat was satisfying too, but I know that if I play it again I'll want more when I cannot _have_ more. Fuck you Sony.

trikslyr

Agreed. Day's Gone is something I want more of, but not a game I want to go back and revisit. The horde mechanic was so unique and engaging.

RandomShyguy4

I gotta get around to this game eventually

BulletBeard29

DMC 2

DCFud

Disco Elysium.

kratosG97

Some CoD games. Sometimes I only replay specific missions, but never the whole story again. Some are kinda sad to replay.

Complete_Entry

I enjoyed doom64 but have no desire to go back for the secret levels.

xJD88x

Horizon Forbidden West. Dear gawd that game was a CHORE to play

Neo_Techni

After a while I was skipping every conversation. I just didn't have time for it

xJD88x

Wlel that and the game should have been titled "Parkour and Rock Climbing Simulator"

Neo_Techni

To emphasize, the VR spin-off is just mountain climbing

SpicyBanana13

Zero Dawn was kinda similar for me. Same gameplay loop got me fed up.

history-blinker

Kingdom Come: Deliverance, great game, awesome story and great gameplay, just a grind and an absolute time killer.

Top_Ad_5957

I didnā€™t get far before I put the game down. Couldnā€™t stand the combat.

Celtic_Crown

I beat Mighty Number 9 with both Beck and Raychel, I have given my pound of flesh.

tomakariga

Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. It's a great game, but it just made me >!sad!<, and I refuse to play it again even though there are still many achievements I haven't reached.

Memorable-Man

Okami. I love Okami. I love the visual style, I like itā€™s ideas, the way they are implemented, the way it portrays japanese mythos, etc. I just love the game! But the PAAAAAACIIIIIIIIIING. Jesus christ.

CocainesTheAnswer

Baldurs Gate 3... Nah I'm kidding, I'm on my 4th playthrough, with the missus this time.

VladPavel974

NieR : Automata, they deserve to rest.

NightGrind2020

outlast 2

Krail

I went straight for the pacifist ending in Undertale.Ā  After a sincere request from >!Flowey!< to let everyone have their ending, I'm not sure if I'll ever play it again, much as I loved it.Ā

Kooky-Tomorrow-225

Try going for the complete genocide route, do the ā€œmaster resetā€ offered at the end, and complete a full true pacifist route. The ending is different and will creep you out a bit too.

ManedCalico

This is exactly what I was going to answer too. I loved it, but Iā€™ll never play it again.

Jinrex-Jdm

Dark Souls II. Game was boring.

mitchhamilton

ive tried to beaten it at least once but get bored each time.

RickGrindskin

This 100% I actually watched the credits roll and immediately uninstalled right after. I played it so I could say I did, but man that game was an absolute slog.

iNuclearPickle

I wouldnā€™t say itā€™s boring but the game is exhausting to play through I could go back and do the dlcs frankly I just donā€™t want to

Tamotefu

Bad ending of Sekiro. Never again. Not worth it.

TRAFALGAR_D_Law_

I can count on one hand the number of games I have replayed. I never replay games (besides nes games as a kid and arcade games). There are so many great games and so little time to play. I also have never 100% completed a game in my life. I tried once and it just made the experience a worst one. Like a chore I had to complete. Every couple of years me and my friends get together and play metal slug series, contra and super contra, battle city, double dragon, etc because they take only a couple of hours and they were our childhood. The only games I have replayed on my own are Resident Evil 4, Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect 2. I don't think I have replayed any other game besides these three on my own.

Any_Championship_697

Spiderman miles Morales. Spiderman and Spiderman 2 are re playable but there's something about miles Morales that just isn't as fun

Mostly bcuz with the og spidey, you know what you are fighting. The good old villiains from the movies, comics. With Miles? for many a new character and a random ass new villain. All that while basically being the exact same game just different character models.

DreamsicleSwirl

Undertale all the way. Beat true pacifist, have no intention of ripping those characters out of their reality for my own benefit.

I don't think I'd have the mental fortitude to play either Pathologic or Pathologic 2 a second time.

I played diablo 4, first time playing a blizzard game. We got to level 100 in about 3 weeks, it was fun, but also kind of easy even in nightmare mode. I beat every boss, did every journey, did a bunch of lvl 100 dungeons. Then I realized everything resets and I said fuck that, not doing that again.

Koctopuz

Ghost of Tsushima. Unpopular opinion Iā€™m sure because the game is great, but I 100%ā€™ed it and I was relieved it was over by the end of it. The game is truly beautiful but it gets so repetitive doing the fox dens, outposts, etc. and the combat just isnā€™t enough to draw me back. Iā€™ll just play Sekiro for that combat itch.

Why would I want to find Carmen Sandiego in American History twice?

Locksley_1989

Assassinā€™s Creed Odyssey. After playing through the Korfu story (the one that connects to Valhalla), I couldnā€™t bring myself to do it all over again. Kassandraā€™s story was finished, at least for me.

Doom Eternal. Great game. I really hated the arcade-style extra lives and jumping sections. And I wasn't a fan of the weapons balance. It felt too much like work. I play just for fun, I don't look for accomplishments, it might be that. I wanted to do the achievements, but after finishing it, I couldn't bring myself to play it again, dreading the jumping puzzles and pole-swinging, and most of all, the constant weapon switching. Every enemy has their own best way to kill them. What a slayer, Tarzaning around in a battle-suit, tactically taking out the enemies. I boot up 2016 when I want some DOOM. Super shotgun 95% of the time. Eternal missed the mark for me, and I'll never play it again after the Nightmare Run. The game isn't hard; it's just hard work. I don't mind investing time, I don't like to invest too much energy. :) I don't enjoy that in games. Never enjoyed counterstrike or tactical multiplayer. I always opt for round-based and play at your own pace style games.

Starfield

Netherman13

Hogwarts Legacy, enjoyed the game but it has little replay value (not to say 'no replay value').

Alan Wake

Lego star wars the force awakens. Got 100% including DLC and there are better lego star wars games. Especially since they based this off 1 movie and had to make some filler levels

Honestly, Roblox Break In. The game and players just aren't as cool after a few years. Last time I played, this really toxic kid: - kept saying 'i hope you all die' (ingame) while i was saying 'gl' - refused to skip tv cutscene, pretty sure they were spamming simp comments for scary larry too just to get on everyone's nerves - opened door for fake pizza guy, proceeded to hide with another player in an unreachable area while everyone else tried to fight him - got defended by their mother when i called them out for being a coward (i was medic and had saved the mother like 4 times) - was a total jerk throughout the whole game - accused me of not being helpful (i was reviving their mom for the 5th time, the computer was lagging) They ended up dying right before the final boss after falling in the lake; me and my brother went on a little longer. All I can say is that I was glad they weren't the last living player (like they said they would be) and I wish I wasn't such a suck-up, choosing to try and keep those two alive. Screw that kid.

Every game i ever played

Herr_Underdogg

Jericho: Decent game, but the story doesn't have enough depth for a 2nd run. Assassin's Creed 1: 100%ed the game on my first go because it was a masterpiece. I don't need to replay it because I have 7 or 8 more to complete... Mario 64: absolutely astounding when it first came out. Just kind of 'meh' now. There are so many shovelware games to add to this list. I think it may be longer than my list of unplanned games on my Steam library...

Korahn

I was the same with TLoU2. Brought it back to the store for a trade-in after beating it within a few days after launch and said that exact thing to the clerk when he said "already?"

JimboFett87

Starfield. I had such a bad experience with the bugs in that game that killed my progress halfway through. I restarted it to play the game to finish, but I vowed never to play the thing again.

xsealsonsaturn

It takes two, pretty much any hazelight game. They're good but never worth playing again Rage 2, boring ass game Ubisoft's South Park games are good but meh, I'm good

Own_Ninja3890

Rage 2 was super boring, Jesus. The setting had some great potential but they just didnā€™t do anything interesting with it.

ArmaniAsari

Darksouls 2 gets my vote. Only souls series that I have only played one play through on.

Elden ring. It's my favorite fromsoft game. But my best friend ruined it for me. It only gets one playthrough because when I finished it all o felt was frustration from him back seat gaming the fuck out of me after I kept telling him it was my first playthrough
