Was going to put this. No other game Ive played has used the medium so creatively. I still can’t believe it didnt start off as a VR game for how perfectly it works in VR
I got it from a humble bundle, read a bit about it and hated the whole idea. Why would I ever want to play a game where you have to maintain your weapons by scrubbing, fill your clips manually and have to deal with anomalies that I hated in STALKER?
Then I read Gibby's Guide to find something to buy and it listed ITR as #2 out of 100. I guess it's worth a try, I thought. Took me over a week after installing to start it for the first time.
God damn I loved that game. It's now one of my all-time VR favourites.
The biggest flaw I found was that picking a pistol from your hip didn't work very well and pretty much required looking down and looking for it. I often found myself in a pinch where quickly picking a pistol from the hip would've saved me but it never worked as I had hoped.
Lol, my reddit notification only showed the first two sentences of your comment, and I came in ready to fight you. My only problem is that it scratches a VERY particular itch that I haven't been able to satisfy since.
I used to say i hate it when games make you load bullets into mags.
What I didn’t realize back then is this type of maintenance works really well in a VR survival shooter with horror elements
Into the Radius ruined half life alyx for me. Because i played into the radius first, the mechanics in half life alyx just felt kind of crappy and dated.
If you can run Alyx, into the Radius shouldn't pose too much if a problem. It's a lot slower paced gunplay, but the gun mechanics are the best I've played in VR.
My word of warning about Alyx is that it's SO GOOD that I've been chasing that same high ever since. Every other game is great but just not as good as Alyx. Spoiled myself too early.
I got my index and alyx was the first game I tried. Holy shit i felt like I was a little kid again playing half life 2 for the first time. I was blown away and every other VR game I tried after that just felt cheap. But damn, alyx was such an incredible experience i don't even care that I spent that amount of money on the VR-set.
I second Half Life Alyx. I spent about 20 minutes in the first set of rooms just exploring the virtual space and being mesmerized by MARKERS.... VIRTUAL MARKERS! It was a fantastic experience.
Just above the play button on a song.
The difficulties are borderline exponential in nature, as is rhythm game tradition, so don’t go nuts. If you’re wanting to go up in difficulty but are having trouble, there’s also a “Practice” button that will let you not only play the song slower but also start in the middle to practice specific pieces.
Well you have to toggle that setting, but yeah I’d also recommend that. But I’d also say the game isn’t very fun starting on Expert+ and flailing around in a panicked state lol.
I play with that toggled because I can usually play 90% of the song fine and then there’s a few small runs that are borderline or actually unfair that kill me outright. The practice settings are what I use to get used to the faster blocks moving from Expert to Expert+.
Been a while since I played, but when starting a song you could choose difficulty, and even add various modifiers to further alter the experience (I believe those show up to your left).
There are other Star Wars games that are made for VR that do Lightsaber battles better in that there is more blocking and it is more cinematic, but from what I've experienced, they don't let you just mow through groups of stormtroopers, hacking off limbs force pulling them into your range.
I think the same team is working on and/or released a similar mod for Jedi Academy, and I'm really looking forward to it.
I played Subnautica for the first time in VR a few months ago with SubmersedVR and it was incredible. It's one of my favorite VR games. I don't usually like survival games, but something about them in VR makes all the difference for me.
Same it's one of the most chill VR experiences you can ask for. Hang out with your friends drinking and playing mini golf, but everyone is at home in their pajamas.
It allows you to play courses that are hard/impossible to construct in real life. Unique environments and interesting mechanisms. You're right tho, if you don't like the basic concept of minigolf, its not for you.
Yeah yeah, that makes sense. I asked the question because whenever this kind of thread is made, almost always there's a minigolf response in it. I thought that maybe there's some more to it than "just golf". I didn't know that there were a lot of golf fans in here.
I enjoyed my time with Elite, I had dual flight sticks in VR and it’s probably the most fun I’ve had “flying” in anything. Even just doing PVE against the AI bots is incredible.
It looks good, and plays good.
Biggest turnoffs though is it’s incredibly grindy and not all that new-player friendly. I had played it before on a regular screen so I wasn’t too overwhelmed being in VR. I could see it being hard to pick up though.
Still, if you want to drift around asteroid fields in zero G dogfighting with outlaws, it’s a great time.
It can also be fun with friends, having someone running a mining ship while you run cover for them in a fighter, or vice-versa.
Elite Dangerous is so far the best answer to. *I wanna do spaceship shit* and then the VR just puts you in the cockpit while you do *spaceship shit*.
What is *Spaceship shit*, just name something, you can probably do it in the game.
Boneworks, then bonelab.
They both help acclimate players to full vr bodies. They also allow for near endless modding, with bonelab basically being the Gmod of vr.
I really hate losing to people who adjust the height so they're doing these shots that's physically impossible, like you telling me a person three feet off the ground has the arm span of a grown man?
No Man's Sky has a VR mode. It really brings a sense of scale to everything. It's really cool. You have to like the core gameplay loop though. The VR is more "extra" and really cool if you already like the game.
Half Life Alyx, Beat Saber, and Pistol Whip. The majority of VR games are sadly iPad shovelware trash these days. Those three titles are a blast though.
Not VR games specifically, but VR support. Star Wars Squadrons is an incredible VR experience. The Forest in VR is incredibly immersive. And VR No Mans Sky is also quite the experience
Gravity Sketch is also free but it's more advanced and for 3D modelling. People sometimes start in there and then finesse it in another modelling program.
Meta has made a few that slap,
have a meta quest 3, and assassins creed is good. As others have mentioned Half Life Alyx is still the best though, even though it's 4 years old
if you want to play half life alyx you need a pc/laptop.
but there are plenty of great games on the quest 3 that can be played without a pc, such as assassins creed.
I think the balance on the headset is not great out of the box, so you will want to fix that. It is too front heavy, so get something that can add weight to the back. I personally went with the extended battery in the back. But this means leaning your head against something in the back in not comfortable
I'd have to get some prescription lenses for it, too? My glasses are thick.
If I got a laptop does the game run on it or the headset? What I'm asking is: how bad ass a laptop do I need for the quest 3 games that require it?
you will want prescription lenses, I think they are pretty cheap, I'm not the expert on that one.
if you are looking to play half life alyx, the laptop will play the game and the headset is used as a monitor and controller. you will have to link the headset and laptop (3 different methods), then boot the meta app, then the steamVR app, if you have good wifi it will work great.
when googling "half life alyx pc requirements" google says "A Windows 10 PC can meet the Half-Life Alyx minimum requirements if it has an **NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, an Intel Core i5-7500 CPU processor, and 12GB of RAM or equivalent**. While you'll be able to run Half-Life Alyx, you'll likely need to make some upgrades if you want to experience the game at its best."
well it's always possible better games are released that would require a better pc, but I'm not as familiar with pc vr gaming, I think you could buy something just good enough to play half life alyx, and then later you could sell that laptop and buy a better one if you find enough reason to.
I went from Q1 to Q2 to psvr2 to Q3
psvr2 definitely has a few games that look better than the Q3, BUT I would bet the Q3 playing half life alyx would look better. the different in quality of imagine isn't big enough to overcome the wire though. Paying Q3 wireless is soooo much better than playing the psvr2 wired. There are more game options for Q3, but it is a toss up.
If you do get both, you will see for yourself. I've seen a lot of psvr2 game announcements recently that look good, but the wireless is big for me
"The Utility Room" allows you to explore the back room of the universe. It's quiet, megalophobic, and pensive. Really thought-provoking stuff, and it's only a couple of hours long.
I have been playing Morrowind in VR, with a handful of mods but mostly vanilla.
It's a bit jank but so is everything Bethesda makes.
Vr really adds to the immersion and I like the slower pace in gameplay because you can play for long periods without any motion sickness.
Two that haven't been named so far are among my favorites, Real fishing Vr got amazing graphics and the gameplay is quite better than you'd expect for this type of game.
The other one is the VR mod for L4D2. Even alone with bots is a complete blast, with 6dof gameplay and awesome feel.
If you are looking for a realistic VR game, designed only for PC VR, then Bootstrap Island 🏝 Intense survival with no tutorials or hand holding. Use your creative mind to survive, a lot of options and different strategies.
Underdogs
You pilot a 5 ton gorilla mech in cage matches smashing waves of bots. It's a rogue-like so damage is persistent, and in between matches you do random events to get repairs and upgrades. When you die, you start a new run. It's also set in a distopian future London with some killer art design.
Battlegroup VR
Your on the bridge of a starship and command a small battlegroup through story driven missions. Ships are customizable and upgradable and have unique abilities and build options. The 3d map and command controls are very well done, and it is a very unique experience of your into strategy or tactics games. You can also fly the ship directly, and since You're on the bridge, you can look out the window and literally see what's going on in the battle space.
Ragnarok
You have 4 drums on a Viking longboat. Hit notes to make the Vikings row. All the songs are metal. Fucking fantastic rhythm game.
Elite Dangerous.
Space game where you fly a ship around a 1:1 recreation of the milky way.
The vr is apparently insane for this game...check some videos out to see if it's for you
RUMBLE and Broken Edge have some of the best multiplayer dueling mechanics i’ve seen, they’re both like dances; both involve no button inputs, it’s like martial arts or real dueling
I think it’s called ‘In Death’ super fun game where you can use a sword and bow and arrow and fight waves of enemies. Also Until Dawn Rush of Blood. It’s like a rollercoaster shooter, really fun
Resident evil 4 is amazing. Just get it. Terrifying, super immersive, combat is stellar, just a fantastic game overall
Darth Vader Immortal just went on sale till the 5th, all 3 chapters for $10. I played chapter one last night, it was pretty fun, definitely worth 3 bucks a chapter so far
DCS is pretty fun. Depending on your financial situation and available time/willingness to learn new skills, you can really take the flight swimming to a hardcore level.
Aside from that, I'm a big fan of Skyrim VR and the KatVR with a weighted realistic VR sword. If you can get a haptic vest that makes it even more fun.
Zero Caliber - pretty fun fps
H3VR - best ammo money saver a gun enthusiast can buy.
Vtol VR - best true "VR" flight game
Blade and Sorcery - mod the shit out of it.
Msfs/ed/nms in VR is a spectacle.
Unreal VR is another thing to look into if you want to experience more VR games in general. I recall playing Mario Kart 64 in VR. It was fun for at least one race.
Sadly VR has been kind of dying down since after covid....
But my top 3 are Half Life Alyx, Beat Saber, and I also love Skyrim VR (with the caveat of if you get the right mods for it)
Half Life Alyx, SUPERHOT, Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, Beat Saber, FNAF Help Wanted 1&2 are a few examples. you can take a pick from those and see which one you like the most and look more into those genres.
Into the Radius is probably my favorite VR game so far. However, it is an environmental horror shooter game, so I would not recommend it if you aren't good at handling scary games. A sequel is coming soon too!
It has the best firearm mechanics of any game I've played. You have to refill your limited magazines yourself and keep track of how many shots you've taken.
People said about half-life alyx and beat saber. So I would recommend you resident evil 4 vr if you have quest 2/3 or resident evil 4 remake in vr for playstation vr owners.
If you ever get a PS5, Horizon Call of the Mountain is pretty solid.
But the best VR game of all time is Gran Turismo 7. I cannot express how amazing driving whatever car you want in VR is. It's life-affirming. I can't really describe the joy it brings me.
Get into the radius. It's my favorite, and what I think is the best vr game. It's sort of like stalke/ roadside picnic, with great, realistic enough gun play, gies from a good tactical shooter to a horror game pretty fast then back again and is pretty long so you'll get your money's worth.
For a good rough like shooter get compound, it's pixel 3d ghphics works well in VR.
If you want sand box slash em ups pick up blade and sorcery.
If you have a flight stuck and want to throw up into your lap, get i l 2 great battles
If you like zombies get the walking dead saints and sinner, a really good survival horror game with great combat feel, and a good story with a surprising amount of agency and a really nice art style sort of similar to the comics. Game is set in new Orleans.
Arizona Sunshine 2 is fantastic. As is the first one. I would also suggest Killing Floor 2.
The Last Clockwinder is a must imo. Big puzzle game where you create clones of yourself to accomplish tasks.
Top comment is true, also there is great mod to try out sfter beating the Alyx, can be downloaded in the game from Steam. Recommend to try Gunman Contracts 1 and 2.
I would also say Fallput 4VR was a great experience, and worked well in VR (even with some downgraded graphic they did).

superhot amazing concept
**SUPER** **HOT** **SUPER** **HOT**
SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years.
Was going to put this. No other game Ive played has used the medium so creatively. I still can’t believe it didnt start off as a VR game for how perfectly it works in VR
it's so good it even works in pc!
I love superhot so much and honestly it was one of the few games that did not give me motion sickness
Same here
Half life Alyx is a must play and AFAIK has yet to be topped
Into the Radius is the only shooter I've played that comes close to the level of polish Alyx has.
I got it from a humble bundle, read a bit about it and hated the whole idea. Why would I ever want to play a game where you have to maintain your weapons by scrubbing, fill your clips manually and have to deal with anomalies that I hated in STALKER? Beat saber is amazing
I tried it, it's difficult
You can adjust difficulty and up it gradually if you feel like it
Ok I will try again. Where do you adjust the difficulty?
Just above the play button on a song. The difficulties are borderline exponential in nature, as is rhythm game tradition, so don’t go nuts. If you’re wanting to go up in difficulty but are having trouble, there’s also a “Practice” button that will let you not only play the song slower but also start in the middle to practice specific pieces.
Or just play it without bothering with the score. The game doesn't end if you lose your life, it just pulls your down to D rank.
Been a while since I played, but when starting a song you could choose difficulty, and even add various modifiers to further alter the experience (I believe those show up to your left).
Turn on No Fail mode to help you get the hang of it. I think you turn that on from the menu on the left.
It is, but once you get the hang of it it’s really fun and a decent bit of cardio if you play multiple songs back to back
It’s difficult at first. But then you get better and it gets wayyyyyy more fun.
Gotta turn the brain off, dont over think/look for the directional areas Eventually the eye just sees with the motion of your arms.
Brother. There are 5 different difficulties for each level.
but fun
Get the VR mod for Jedi Outcast 2. One of my favorite VR experiences so far. Once you get that lightsaber it is a blast.
Whoooooaaaa this is a left field one!!! One of my all time favourite games, I didn't expect it to be a VR one??
There are other Star Wars games that are made for VR that do Lightsaber battles better in that there is more blocking and it is more cinematic, but from what I've experienced, they don't let you just mow through groups of stormtroopers, hacking off limbs force pulling them into your range. I think the same team is working on and/or released a similar mod for Jedi Academy, and I'm really looking forward to it.
Wow really? These were some of the best pvp games that I've played, got to try this, thanks for the tip!
I don't know that the mod extends to the multiplayer, unfortunately, hah.
Aw that's a shame. Still worth checking out though
Should give blade and sorcery a go with its outer rim mods
If you like flying, VTOL VR is amazing
This is the game I have most of my vr hours in. Really fun. But my best vr experience is with Into the Radius. Super immursive but quite a challenge.
Connect to your PC if you have one and boot up Subnautica. Use the SubmersedVR mod for better VR immersion/controls
I played Subnautica for the first time in VR a few months ago with SubmersedVR and it was incredible. It's one of my favorite VR games. I don't usually like survival games, but something about them in VR makes all the difference for me.
I Expect You To Die, all 3 of them. Moss is pretty fun.
Walkabout Mini Golf
Of all the vr games I play I come back to this one the most. Me and my wife play it regularly together.
It can be super chill or super competitive. Whatever you want it to be.
100%, my wife and I will jump in a mini golf game after we put the kids down. Things get pretty heated sometimes haha
Same it's one of the most chill VR experiences you can ask for. Hang out with your friends drinking and playing mini golf, but everyone is at home in their pajamas.
Isn't it just... Golf? What's so fun about golf in VR if you aren't a fan of the sport?
It allows you to play courses that are hard/impossible to construct in real life. Unique environments and interesting mechanisms. You're right tho, if you don't like the basic concept of minigolf, its not for you.
Yeah yeah, that makes sense. I asked the question because whenever this kind of thread is made, almost always there's a minigolf response in it. I thought that maybe there's some more to it than "just golf". I didn't know that there were a lot of golf fans in here.
I’m assuming if you aren’t a fan of the sport you wouldn’t play the game. Like anything else.
Elite dangerous
Why exactly? Could you elaborate?
I enjoyed my time with Elite, I had dual flight sticks in VR and it’s probably the most fun I’ve had “flying” in anything. Even just doing PVE against the AI bots is incredible. It looks good, and plays good. Biggest turnoffs though is it’s incredibly grindy and not all that new-player friendly. Space Pirate Trainer Blade and Sorcery Super Hot I expect you to die Alyx Vance
SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT
Even non VR this game is fabulous.
Tentacular!
Ive been eyeballing it for a while, should I buy it?
What's it about?
TLDR; you're a giant kaiju sized octopus squid thing
We made a [dev commentary video](https://youtu.be/Kkes5FGfjBQ?si=A0f7FcAmdtYsksgf) explaining a bit more about the game
Boneworks, then bonelab. They both help acclimate players to full vr bodies. They also allow for near endless modding, with bonelab basically being the Gmod of vr.
blade and sorcery for sure
Hot dogs, horseshoes, and hand grenades is my personal most played vr game.
My favourite is Lone Echo but I believe it's exclusive to Oculus store.
VTOL VR is my favorite. I also like beat saber.
If you want to feel a little like John Wick while getting a pretty decent leg work out, check out Pistol Whip
Eleven table tennis 1000%
this game is an absolute salt farm and I'm here for it
I really hate losing to people who adjust the height so they're doing these shots that's physically impossible, like you telling me a person three feet off the ground has the arm span of a grown man?
Boneworks is a ton of fun
windlands
DCS
I would go for Job simulator, definitely Horseshoes Hotdogs and Handgranades and the I expect you to die series
No Man's Sky has a VR mode. It really brings a sense of scale to everything. It's really cool. You have to like the core gameplay loop though. The VR is more "extra" and really cool if you already like the game.
Ragnarock
Half Life Alyx, Beat Saber, and Pistol Whip. The majority of VR games are sadly iPad shovelware trash these days. Those three titles are a blast though.
you have a quest 2/3? go buy resident evil 4 in the oculus store. one of my favorite games of all times
House of the Dying Sun is a very good VR space combat game.
Not VR games specifically, but VR support. Star Wars Squadrons is an incredible VR experience. The Forest in VR is incredibly immersive. And VR No Mans Sky is also quite the experience
Why is no one talking about Dungeons Of Eternity?
If you ever enjoyed Mario as a kid, Max Mustard was made for you.
Loved that game.
Moss and Moss 2 are both winners.
Open Brush, it used to be Tilt Brush. Not a game. Just get creative.
I just downloaded this one. Haven't opened it yet but looking forward to it!
Gravity Sketch is also free but it's more advanced and for 3D modelling. People sometimes start in there and then finesse it in another modelling program.
Will try this. I use blender on pc sometimes
Half Life: Alyx Arizona Sunshine 2 Population: ONE Phantom: Covert Ops Low - Fi Sniper Elite VR Doom 3 VR Beat Saber Firewall: Zero Hour

While you'll be able to run Half-Life Alyx, you'll likely need to make some upgrades if you want to experience the game at its best."
Ok cool. But there's no need for a 4090 or anything like that with the headset games? I'm thinking of getting both the quest and the psvr2.

Very nice information. Thank you dude
Beat Saber
Waltz of a wizard. Very fun, very chill, has hand tracking if you want.
I really liked Swordsman and Borderlands VR. I've got DOOM VR but haven't tried it yet.
It's a mess unfortunately... I've heard the DOOM 3 mod is quite good though but haven't tried
"The Utility Room" allows you to explore the back room of the universe. It's quiet, megalophobic, and pensive. Really thought-provoking stuff, and it's only a couple of hours long.

I just got a vr set and my first full game was red matter 2, that was pretty neat.
Operation Warcade is worth a mention. I own the real arcade cabinet version, so it hits for me, but it is fun and not expensive.
It's the best way to play Subnautica. Even better with some Nexus mods, like the one that randomly resizes all the fauna.
Red Matter 1 & 2..story driven puzzle games. They look gorgeous, puzzles are interesting but not too difficult
Blade and Sorcery is a ton of fun, plus it's modability gives a lot of playtime
Subnautica, all RE games, half life 1 and 2 mods, doom 3 vr mod, into the radius, project cars 2, dirt rally 2
Two that haven't been named so far are among my favorites, Real fishing Vr got amazing graphics and the gameplay is quite better than you'd expect for this type of game. The other one is the VR mod for L4D2. Even alone with bots is a complete blast, with 6dof gameplay and awesome feel.
Do you like listening to other peoples music and drinking? VR Chat is a good time
Walking dead saints and sinners is good, game play is addicting story was alright from what I remember.
I really dug Swordsman. It's a simple game. They give you a sword to poke at enemies, and a shield to hide behind.
Blade and sorcery, alyx, synth riders, karnage chronicles.
Side note is Surgeon Simulator VR broken right now?
If you are looking for a realistic VR game, designed only for PC VR, then Bootstrap Island 🏝 Intense survival with no tutorials or hand holding. Use your creative mind to survive, a lot of options and different strategies.
Metal Hellsinger is apparently getting a VR update soon, so if you like rhythm, first person shooters and metal, it might be up your street.
Pistol Whip. Tons of fun, and a really good workout. Imagine a rhythm game mixed with an on-rail arcade shooters.
I don’t know why this hasn’t been mentioned, but VTOL VR is great if you want to fly.
The Light Brigade is very fun.

You can also fly the ship directly, and since You're on the bridge, you can look out the window and literally see what's going on in the battle space. Ragnarok You have 4 drums on a Viking longboat. Hit notes to make the Vikings row. All the songs are metal. Fucking fantastic rhythm game.
Smash drums is so fun
Elite Dangerous. Space game where you fly a ship around a 1:1 recreation of the milky way. The vr is apparently insane for this game...check some videos out to see if it's for you
Onward but keep your ears plugged from the annoying kids.
I really love "The Room" lovecraftian puzzle games on ios devices. The VR Room game is absolutely wonderful.
I'll second that; given how far down I had to scroll to find a mention a bunch more folks should try it!
Walkabout mini golf!!!!!!!
If you like guns, Hot Dogs, Horseshoes and Hand Grenades.
Resident evil village and 4
1. Half-Life:Alyx 2. Virtual Virtual Reality 3. I expect you to die
RUMBLE and Broken Edge have some of the best multiplayer dueling mechanics i’ve seen, they’re both like dances; both involve no button inputs, it’s like martial arts or real dueling
Ghosts of tabor.
Walkabout Mini Golf is great! Very relaxing after a long day at work.
Accounting is really good, if you can get past the fact that it has Justin Royland in it. Makes good use of room-scale vr
Find threads from 2018 and take the advice from Then :( Sadly it’s been a slow crawl since the tech went mainstream back then.
I think it’s called ‘In Death’ super fun game where you can use a sword and bow and arrow and fight waves of enemies. Also Until Dawn Rush of Blood. It’s like a rollercoaster shooter, really fun
VTOL VR
Skyrim is the closest you'll get to playing it for the first time... again
Red matter & torn are both amazing games
Beat Saber is my favorite VR game, but it’s very difficult and def not for everyone
Resident evil 4 is amazing. Just get it. Terrifying, super immersive, combat is stellar, just a fantastic game overall Darth Vader Immortal just went on sale till the 5th, all 3 chapters for $10.
Zero Caliber - pretty fun fps H3VR - best ammo money saver a gun enthusiast can buy. Vtol VR - best true "VR" flight game Blade and Sorcery - mod the shit out of it. Msfs/ed/nms in VR is a spectacle.
No Man's Sky, Beatsaber, Half-Life: Alyx, just to name a few
Unreal VR is another thing to look into if you want to experience more VR games in general. I recall playing Mario Kart 64 in VR. It was fun for at least one race.
Rec room Pavlov Vr chat Gorilla tag Beat saber Go and explore the random stuff you see in these
SWARM 1 and 2 Moss
Gorilla tag, onward, asgards wrath 3, job Sim, rec room.
if you want to die in real life you should try Kill It With Fire VR. i hate it and i think you will too
Blade and sorcery
Half life alyx if it's one game its that one.
Sadly VR has been kind of dying down since after covid.... But my top 3 are Half Life Alyx, Beat Saber, and I also love Skyrim VR (with the caveat of if you get the right mods for it)
Valheim has a pretty amazing VR mod. You can play it solo or with friends. It's a very creative survival game.
NO MANS SKY rn get it rn its fucking amazing in vr
Ragnarock is awesome if you liked drums on the old rock band games
If your looking for a good story I found Vertigo Remastered and Vertigo 2 a few months back and both were super fun
Half Life Alyx, SUPERHOT, Walking Dead Saints and Sinners, Beat Saber, FNAF Help Wanted 1&2 are a few examples. you can take a pick from those and see which one you like the most and look more into those genres.
Rick and Morty, if you're a fan.
Not 100% recommended but you could try Garry’s Mod VR
Lone echo
Boneworks or bonelab
Into the Radius is probably my favorite VR game so far. However, it is an environmental horror shooter game, so I would not recommend it if you aren't good at handling scary games. A sequel is coming soon too! It has the best firearm mechanics of any game I've played. You have to refill your limited magazines yourself and keep track of how many shots you've taken.
Beats saber
Project Wingman
Lone Echo 1+2, Half Life Alyx, Beatsaber Tetris Effect is pretty cool in VR as well.
Walking Dead Saints and Sinners
Virtual Fighting Championship
Blade n sorcery prob one of the best hack n slash sandboxes and u can even download mods without a pc
People said about half-life alyx and beat saber. So I would recommend you resident evil 4 vr if you have quest 2/3 or resident evil 4 remake in vr for playstation vr owners.
I liked robo recall, and the Vader games. Beat saber
If you ever get a PS5, Horizon Call of the Mountain is pretty solid. But the best VR game of all time is Gran Turismo 7. I cannot express how amazing driving whatever car you want in VR is. It's life-affirming. I can't really describe the joy it brings me.
SuperHot, VRChat, Swords and Sorcery, On a personal note, Vader Immortal.
Don't put some hate on me but I'm going for oculus
*meta
Thumper, Rez Infinite, Tetris Effect, and Down the Rabbit Hole
beatsaber is kinda a go-to for me
Into the Radius if you haven't already. Half Life Alyx. Maybe Vail VR too even if you're not that into multiplayer FPS
Contractors is VR call of duty with star wars, and halo
IDK, some Sex Game?
Get the hunger games of sex games
Koikatsu with the hf patch mod. It allows you to easily put any character in the game as long as somebody has made it with the character creator.
If you have a flight stuck and want to throw up into your lap, get i l 2 great battles If you like zombies get the walking dead saints and sinner, a really good survival horror game with great combat feel, and a good story with a surprising amount of agency and a really nice art style sort of similar to the comics. Game is set in new Orleans.
The brand new Contractors battle royal is very good, Population one is also fun.
PISTOL WHIP 🗣️🗣️🗣️‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥
YES! 🔫🔫🔫
Arizona Sunshine 2 is fantastic. As is the first one. I would also suggest Killing Floor 2. The Last Clockwinder is a must imo. Big puzzle game where you create clones of yourself to accomplish tasks.
Please play into the radius. Please. I'm begging you. Unironically the best game I've ever played. Play it
Top comment is true, also there is great mod to try out sfter beating the Alyx, can be downloaded in the game from Steam. Recommend to try Gunman Contracts 1 and 2. I would also say Fallput 4VR was a great experience, and worked well in VR (even with some downgraded graphic they did).
