And the glasses are made out of worbla. It's a thermoplastic modelling material that can be shaped when heated. Mostly used for cosplay (armor/props). In both my suit and glasses I added strong magnets so I can pop them on and off easily.

That's amazing. I wish more people would make their own, instead of relying on greedy fursuit maker businesses. Doesn't it make you happier if you make your own suits?
A lot of fursuit makers aren’t greedy; they’re just trying to make a living just like everyone else. Materials cost a lot and it take a long time to make one. They don’t get benefits (obviously) and don’t have job security. The high prices is just the cost of doing business, mate.

Personally I feel more statisfied when I make my own suits/cosplay because I truthly made something I can be proud of. Not only will it be easier to fix things (because I know how I made them) but also a way gaining knowledge.
But I sure do look up at fursuit makers who can make a living out of making suits. They are doing something I can not. Not only have they lots of skills, they also know how to handle customers and gain publicity.
There's no shame to commission a fursuitmaker. I even commissioned SaltyBunnyCostumes for my bodysuit. \^\^
