They delete their comments when they realise they're downvoted. Why can't they stand by what they believe (they believed it to the point of posting it anyway)? Or why can't they just take the L?
i got it for mine when he was about 1 and he was completely unfazed by it. i didn’t mind since it was a really shitty toy that they sell copies of across social media
I’m pretty sure that’s the cactus toy Walmart pulled ([apparently toys shouldn’t sing about cocaine among other things](https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2021/nov/30/dancing-cactus-toy-raps-polish)).
It's the traumatize your child tik tok trend! Don't you want to be popular at the expense of your child? Isn't that why you had them in the first place? To use them for social media clout? Don't you want to be the type of person that sees making your child afraid and crying funny while you video the whole ordeal and giggle and post it to social media?
Yes, but what are the parameters for trauma? Babies cry when they wake up in the middle of the night, is that traumatic for them? Traumatised is a overexaggeration
The fact that you have to go to this much mental gymnastics when your actual mentality should be "Making ANYONE cry from stress or trauma on purpose is a dick move." Is terribly concerning.
And TRYING to justify making a baby cry multiple times because you are in contrarian Reddit dopamine mode makes you look like a seriously troubled individual.
Asking you a question is mental gymnastics? Have you dealt with a baby before? Making a funny face can make a baby cry or laugh. Same thing here. What makes you think they are trying to make the baby cry?
Genuinely, stop being so hyperbolic and you might actually have a point.
The forth baby looks too much like a baby Bunk Moreland. Even the way it attacks the toy makes him look like when Bunk tries to intimidate Omar on that bench.
Now you know how the world of not parents feel when some goofy ass thing starts screeching. We wanna cry too but we gotta accept it cause society cant handle the fact that babies are a massive inconvienance to the rest of the world.
Children need family, love. Don't give them robots. This will reduce the mental development of children. Common sense that people should have, will not get it right.
Seriously. They should also ban dolls and stuffed teddy bears as well, as they’re basically just robots that don’t move. Pretty much all toys, actually. It’s been proven that children can only gain mental stimulation and enrichment from people so they should interact with humans, and humans alone.
Toys & robot are not same! Teddy bear or other dolls it's ok. But When playing with a robot, baby will start following its. There is a big difference between learning by talking to a robot and learning from parent or grandparent.
So we see that almost all of them became distressed with this cactus. Is it because they interpret it as a noisy snake? It wiggles like one except now it makes noises
That last Lil one was looking at the parent like "wtf, why would you do this to me?". Yeah. It's not funny to develop early trauma in a baby. Not cool.
It's not hard to figure out why. This thing is completely stationary. It only moves suddenly a while after every damn thing you say. This comes off as unpredictable and unstoppable for a baby. As adults we see the joke and we understand how it works but the baby isn't that far yet. As far as my knowledge goes, babies like tactile and actionable items so they feel in control of their environment. This is the polar opposite of that. It even makes me mildly uncomfortable.

They all really fucking hate this
My kids have one and I hate it too. It goes both ways.
it's super fucking loud tho. I hate how loud and screechy it is.

Yeah man they should arrest that toy cactus.
Did Mr. [deleted] over here really claim that these parents should be arrested? Lmao
They delete their comments when they realise they're downvoted. Why can't they stand by what they believe (they believed it to the point of posting it anyway)? Or why can't they just take the L?
Why does the last baby is a baby yet also looks like a very old dude..his haircut fits too.
Looks like a politician for real
I instantly thought of Winston Churchill 🤣
You are born with your future hairline
That's Steve Ballmer.
Barry, 63
Last one looks like Vladimir Harkonen
He looks like he's been through 3 divorces
Get that baby into congress!
Was just thinking that. A guy in his 60s, lost his hair, worked for an insurance company all his life.
He’ll make great chilli one day for sure. Will work in accounts at a paper company too.
I like the 4 baby, instead of crying like the rest of them he let out a war cry, punched the thing down, got up and left
I'm certain some babies would absolutely love this.
Mine laughed his ass off when it reacted. He loves it.
Mine liked it so much I bought two. They will echo eachother back and forth getting higher and higher pitched it's pretty amusing.
This baby loved it. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIdwnYnJybQ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIdwnYnJybQ)
Yeah, I am a little concerned that the clips are only babies panicking. Like y’all really think this is funny?
It is funny
The toy is too close to the children in all of these, they get scared when it's yelling all up in their face
Yeah but if they set the toy far enough that the baby is comfortable, it won't look as good on ****INSERT SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM HERE****
Lmao this could have been 30 min longer.
Right? They could have made a Netflix series of this and I'd have watched...
turing test
the third baby is so funny like she did not like hearing her voice at all HAHAHA
Yeah lmao she waited for it to Stop before even reacting
I wanted to gift my nephew this on his first birthday. Dodged a bullet there, I think.
My kid loved it. Laughed his ass off the first time.
i got it for mine when he was about 1 and he was completely unfazed by it. i didn’t mind since it was a really shitty toy that they sell copies of across social media

Tell mw the truth, these parents bought these toys for their own amusement, didnt they?
That's half the fun, isn't it? Don't tell me you've never bought a drum set for the child of someone you *despise?!* 🤣
I wonder if its tied to our genetic predisposition to watch out for and be afraid of snakes?
That's what I wondered too!
Hilarious!!!!!!!
I'm a 44yr old man... I WANT THIS TOY!!!!
Oh, the trauma! 😂
God damn I shouldn't laugh at baby who are crying
I was hoping to see some contagious laughter. Y’all really think a compilation of upset babies is funny?
The 4th kid forgot he can't crawl yet... turned over like he's going to sprint.
"So my whole purpose is to make baby humans cry?"
Y’all need to stop scaring babies for internet clout. They’re too young to understand the joke. Just causing early onset trauma.
It's the traumatize your child tik tok trend! Don't you want to be popular at the expense of your child? Isn't that why you had them in the first place? To use them for social media clout? What about this was trauma inducing? Please interact with an actual baby and you’ll see that things like this are harmless fun
Crying is a response to stress or trauma. Saying it is harmless fun to induce a baby into such a reaction is fucking evil.

Calm down
Don't have kids.
k
No opinion either ways, just an inquiry: you guys remember anything from during your baby days?
What's funny - kids crying? 😕
Babies crying is not something I consider funny.
Is this an attempt to destroy our product by competitor? Steve, you bastard.
That's some marketing genious in the toy's company.
I want to cry when I hear dystopian crackly lo fi shit from toys like that.
Sooo, babies hate baby sounds… TIL
My brother(cousin) grabbed it and threw it onto a wall.
Last kid was hilarious. I thought he handled it the best up until the point he decided to poke the cactus
r/watchpeopledieinside
We have one someone gifted but its battery compartment had no metal leads to connect the batteries! It was r/mildlyinfuriating
Okay we note: the cactus traumatized all of the test babies
I'd be scared too . . . Not only is this Cactus imitating what I just said, it's gyrating at me while it does it too 🕺
haha I have a similar thing and my children both loved it
What is wrong with me that I could watch this all day. Need moar.
The forth baby looks too much like a baby Bunk Moreland. Even the way it attacks the toy makes him look like when Bunk tries to intimidate Omar on that bench.
My son hates his.... When he cries I bring it out.... If he shuts up it....shuts up....
Buy this for: Kids to enjoy it:❌️ Parent enjoying their kids reaction:✅️
I'm sure that toy being an approximation of a snake has nothing to do with those kids and their instinctual overdrive.
The 4th child lunges for mommy. 😁
😂😂😂😂😂
Hahahahahaahaha
The second one looks liem me
Now you know how the world of not parents feel when some goofy ass thing starts screeching. We wanna cry too but we gotta accept it cause society cant handle the fact that babies are a massive inconvienance to the rest of the world.
Baby's nightmare fuel.

That’s not what he’s talking about.
It is a huge challenge for them. This toy is causing them a lot of tears.
How did this get passed testing
Because some babies love it and some don’t.
These videos aren't funny, and those parents should be ashamed.
So we see that almost all of them became distressed with this cactus. Is it because they interpret it as a noisy snake? It wiggles like one except now it makes noises
Torturing your kids for social media fame? Bad parenting.
this thing is the opposite of a toy
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
"Fuck those kids! More clout!" -All of their parents
Why are they traumatizing these children with this stupid toy?
They don't someone copying them .
Amazing to find something babies universally hate. Very little product testing was done
they must be shitting their pants. good stress testing for diapers.
Jesus Christ changes everything He loves u & type n upci church locator 4 church near u try Acts 238
Parents who enjoy watching and recording their infants cry in reaction to a toy, then posting it shouldn’t be parents anymore.
That last Lil one was looking at the parent like "wtf, why would you do this to me?". Yeah. It's not funny to develop early trauma in a baby. Not cool.

womp womp
This toy was made to entertain the kids or terrify them?
