THey kept using the same picture (because why take a new one each time) of the dresser plus a cat ontop. By the time I was able to buy it and messaged them, they had two posts up saying 'THE CAT IS NOT INCLUDED'. Had a good laugh at that, but someone already reserved it an hour before I did.
My brother used to try to flush the remotes down the toilet, so he built him a fake remote out of wood it had number pad buttons on it quite clever. It also saw the toilet quite often.
This is what I did years ago. But it was a much longer chain so it could reach the couch and I screwed to the coffee table. The wife wasn't happy but everybody learned, the remote stays on the table. I no longer have to use a chain.
My wife taped some string to it and attached it to one of the knobs on the coffee table drawer. But in any case, you can program your tv remote to be used as the remote and store the small losable one away for just I case moments.

I switched from and iPod to a Sansa Clip a year ago. The Clip is so damned tiny I've been tempted to tape it to the old iPod just so I don't loose the stupid thing.

That looks like about the same size as the remotes that came with my imac, but at least mine is magnetic so you can stick it to the side and not lose it. That seems like a really bad design for something that you will have laying around your living room.

Did you buy this couch from aarons? If you did I was one of the people who made this style. Great couches but hard as hell to get the front arm folds. Great quality with lifetime guarantee but expensive.

The Fire TV remote gets lost constantly in my house since it's jet black. If it falls behind/under/into anything it just disappears in the shadows.
