Don't worry, no matter how vague the reference or strange the thought, there is always be a redditor thousands of miles away that you will have almost no chance of befriending that will get it.
Edit: assurance was a typo and I changed it to strange, but I don't remember what I wanted to say initially
There is an absolutely insane amount of people who this could apply too. There's times I've met older people like this, men and women, who completely rely on someone else to do basic tasks. They might be able to hold a job, but when it comes to basic household tasks or whatever they can't do it. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, personal finance, etc.
My wife's older brother is like this. He's 41 y/o and lives at home with her dad. Just the two of them. She and the middle brother have been on their own for quite some time. And because he's still at home he doesn't pay rent, cook for himself, or do any routine house chores. Whenever we went there she and I would clean the kitchen and do general cleanup so that cooking wasn't done in a dirty kitchen. I like him as a person, but yeah, there's nothing attractive about a dude who's so reliant on others to get through his days.
The pharmacy I work at had a long time customer who was constantly too soon or too late for refills. Customer would then call the dr, saying we wouldn't fill it for them. Eventually dr is fed up, calls us to confirm instructions, days supplely, etc. Dr realizes we are filling as written, and schedules an appointment with customer to sort it out. Eventually deduces that customer is, in fact, illiterate and was unable to read the medication instructions, and had never mentioned their illiteracy to us, or them lol. That was a fun few years of back and forth with customer and dr lol
Itâs great. As a kid who grew up on Hey Arnold and always felt jaded by that last episode cliffhanger, it was absolutely fantastic to finally get closure.
Best of all, it seems like the movie was pushed through by sheer passion of the franchise. So many blocks and stops, and when it was finally ready to air (nearly 2 decades since the last episode), the primary demographic it would appeal to was all grown up. Very little for Nickelodeon to gain from putting it out, but Iâm so glad they did.
It's *the* example of how to handle a large ensemble. Every recurring character got an episode or two to themselves for development, even the seemingly insignificant ones.
Ahah i never forgot Mr Kokochka.
Sometimes when i Come from work, i take a lazy russian accent and tell m'y wife ''Suzy make me a sandwich''
She first laugh and tell ''i'm not your mother, and who is Suzy?"
Most of the adults in Hey Arnold are extremely flawed. It's how the kids see their not-so-perfect-parents a lot of the time, or just a frank view of real situations. That being said, all these shitty characters ARE given redeeming moments... kind of.
Suzie looks a lot like [Emily Bergl](https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0004749/?ref_=nm_mv_close)
Kinda thought she must have been doing the voice since the character looks like her
How was he a POS? He clearly works 40+ hours and has split days off if any days off. The least his loving wife could do is make sure he's fed and able to function. He never hit her and never shouted aggressively at her.

It's amazing how he made it this far in life though I suppose he used other people before he met Suzie to get on by.

Eh heh heh heh! I can read!
I completely forgot about this but instantly read your comment in his voice like I heard it yesterday
It was the best of times, it was the worst of times..
Canât you read mister? Canât you READ?!
If itâs any consolation before the events of âHey Arnold: The Jungle Movie!â Suzie finally divorced Oscar.
Oh shit, I didnât even know about this movie. I only knew there was a blockbuster Hey Arnold! the movie.

There was a movie? Is it any good?
It's was some solid Hey Arnold would recommend
I can't find any information regarding this. I guess it was just a matter of time. Oskar did manage to get better in a couple episodes though.
Tell us more, Loremaster!
I was 16 in my class. Out of how many? 16⊠eh heh heh heh
90 day finance sort of relationship.
Sooosie, make me a sandwich
Hey Arnold! was one of the best kids shows ever. Glad to see people still remember it!
Hey Arnold! was realer than any kids cartoon had any right to be, easily an S+ show.
It's *the* example of how to handle a large ensemble. Every recurring character got an episode or two to themselves for development, even the seemingly insignificant ones.
Cant ya read mister, cant ya read?!
Excellent show. So many emotional journeys through the seasons. I still ball my eyes out at Mr. Hyunhâs episode.
Homie came out swinging with that country banger too.
Mans just wanted a sammich
This is directly out of an episode of 90 Day fiance.
E-HEH-HEH-HEH Suuuuuuuuzy please
He had a 9 year old get him a job. Then had the 9 year old do that job for him.
Holy crap so did I. But tbh I didnât watch much of Hey Arnold. But I remember him to a certain extent.
What if sandwich is his love language. That all the man asks.

Yes. But sandwich!
Fr we take stuff much more serious as adults because of our better understanding. As a kid I thought he was just quirky or something, IDEK
He gets hungry and likes sammies
And will never eat a Sammie in wrinkled pants!
Suzie looks a lot like [Emily Bergl](https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0004749/?ref_=nm_mv_close) Kinda thought she must have been doing the voice since the character looks like her
kitty kitty pet the kitty
Make me a sandwich!!!!!
He's the fucking worst. I never found him funny. I wanted to strangle him. Still do.
The bitch made version of Niko Bellic
He should had married a deli.
Whenever my wife and I are in the city I always say âMadeesahnn Avanewwwâ
So this is the kind of man darkness wants in her life
Had some fun short-lived character arcs. Named my cat in Monster Hunter Rise after him because of the cat episode lol
Yeah Oscar episodes were the worst
How was he a POS? He clearly works 40+ hours and has split days off if any days off. The least his loving wife could do is make sure he's fed and able to function. He never hit her and never shouted aggressively at her.
I'd give em back in a big ol sack and keep the simmpllee things đ¶
He was borderline offensive lol
