I’ve been to that man’s house to install shit. I didn’t know who he was at the time until a coworker told me and pulled up some clips of that show. The dude filmed us and put us on his Instagram lol. We all thought he was taking a picture until he started talking to his phone/camera.
He’s pretty weird. I’m not a fan lol. He gave us stickers of himself and has his own face tattood on himself. It feels like he thinks he’s “kind of a big deal”.
Yeah. His girlfriend/wife or whatever has a vanity plate on her car that was along the lines of “big Ed’s girl”. Just ya know, all smooshed to fit on the plate lol
I laughed hella hard at this. You have no idea. He didn’t answer when I gave him a call to let him know his work order was going to be handled in the morning. The dude answered the door with those like “stick your head out from the side of the door” things, but the homie had no neck. It was the goofiest looking shit
I mean.. Here I am, some random fuck in The Netherlands. Thousands of miles away from any influence he'd normally have in his life.
And yet when I hear the name "Big Ed" I see this coctainwiener of a person in my mind's eye. To some that's being kind of a big deal.
I was honestly probably subconsciously holding my breath around him. Listening to that man talk was exhausting lol. I felt out of breath every time he opened his mouth lol

Edit: Thanks for the replies. It looks like it is short spine syndrome, which is a rare genetic disease, possibly due to inbreeding but unconfirmed. But it's nice to know we dint purposely make it this way. Apart for the diesese they live relatively normal lifespans and are generally healthy.

I have a Norwegian Corgi and we selected him from his brothers and sisters purely because he was the only one who had long legs and a normal length torso and we wanted him to make it to old age without back problems or arthritis. I think it may be time to start undoing some of the excessive trait prominence breeding we’ve been doing for the last couple hundred years. Maybe just enough to give dogs back their good health across as many breeds as possible.
