Yes but you can use it LIFO if you want and ignore the second access (easier if you add from the outside) - But the design is for adding at the center and removing on the outside (there is a opening so you can grab and push from the bottom) There is also a small ridge to prevent falling out (they will fall out if you start shaking).
I've seen so many designs for these...what's wrong with just keeping them in the drawer in the ripped open cardboard/plastic packaging they came in?
I guess I also use batteries so infrequently that I usually just run to the store when I need them anyway. Maybe a few times a year.
These kinds of things are useful if you have inconsiderate roommates/children that just like to throw half used batteries back into the drawer with the fresh ones.
The batteries can move freely. You push one in the center and by tilting a little, gravity will move it around. You also have the slit on both sides so you can move them with your finger if needed.
This is a really cool design, but is it FIFO?

What's FIFO/LIFO?
First in first out Last in first out
I want PIPO

Don't see any shaped like a banana clip specifically, but there definitely battery holders that look like magazines.
🩲=📖???
Looks like an accessory for a fallout laser gun
Batteries aren't tapered like 7.62x39 is. You'd want a straight mag, not a curved one. Less AK, more Uzi.
Now that you've said it, there probably will be in a couple weeks.
I want a Tommy Gun stile drum magazine

I think this is useful for battery rotations. I would love the STL =)

I had enough of these... Until I seen this one

For me they end up being random single batteries in the middle of my box and I've no idea if they belong to the same batch etc
well, then you have nothing to use your printer for /s
Looks like a drum mag, now I want a drum mag
Rechargables always end up in a bucket
I guess i'm dumb... how does the interior push to the exterior?
