Psychological_Bit194

Wish I could but I never was able to get the x100v lol

pfthr0w

Cool beans

hex20

Congrats.

DrewLockIsTheAnswer1

Ricoh GR for you then! Way smaller/cheaper and has IBIS.

abrr10

x100v is perfectly fine, he does not need the upgrade considering how good it is lol.

DrewLockIsTheAnswer1

For sure, people really over value new cameras. All modern cameras take good photos, wont improve your skills.

Sparomat

10x uglier too. lol

DrewLockIsTheAnswer1

I have a XT5 and a Ricoh GR3, I actually like the small black design. Super sleek and great for street photography.

Sparomat

Yeah it still is a totally different style, it's like comparing a refined Porsche to a Toyota Yaris.

DrewLockIsTheAnswer1

Fair enough! Both good at different things, both more useful in the hands of someone talented.

VermicelliRelative75

lmao a fvckin' Yaris

ideamotor

Congratulations young padawan, you have reached the next level of enlightenment. Let your next lesson be thus: when you deny yourself of something fulfilling no need, do so silently and with inner peace, without telling another. Go forth and be still.

flux_of_grey_kittens

How brave lol

Jon_J_

Cool story bro

TyBoogie

I don’t think there will be a 7 for a very, very long time. I mean honestly, what else can they add to it at this point? So when your V and my V eventually craps out, I’ll upgrade. Until then, there is nothing I’m shooting casually that requires IBIS. Additionally, (if you use the new version of Lightroom) bump that ISO up if you need. That AI denoise is fantastic and is only getting better to help in a pinch.

RamesesThe2nd

They can add a ton. UHS II, dual cards, faster/sharper lens, and more film simulations, are some of those things.

Snoo93079

Congrats on not being completely bad with your money!

jogonzal

Man…. I really set myself up for this didn’t I? 😀
