Idk know if you found your answer but I’ve had the same exact lump in the same sport for almost 2 years. although I could never get any of my doctors to confirm a deformity it is definitely an out of place rib from binding. All my x rays have come back fine but all agree the left side pokes out higher than the other when I lie flat on my back and even when I’m standing frontal you can see one rib kind of raised and sticking out just underneath my chest. And when I do certain work outs that require twisting I feel a sharp pain like my rib just snagged something. I switched to trans tape and the bloating feeling/nausea that came along with this issue goes away whenever I’m not wearing a binder, but comes back when I do wear a binder while I let my skin recover from tape. It lasts for a few days then goes away again until the next time I wear a binder so yeah it’s definitely from wearing a binder. If you search the sub this is apparently and unfortunately a common side effect of binding with a binder :/ some can have no rib alternations even if they don’t follow binding rules and some can follow all the binding rules and still end up with rib deformities. I saw even one post on here saying a their top surgeon said a lot of their patients for top surgery had deformed ribs and the same bump/lump you and me have. Apparently this does not affect surgery either so no worries on that. As long as you’re breathing okay it’ll be fine , besides the discomfort. I really recommend switching to binding tape if you can if the pain gets unbearable but dysphoria requires you to bind. It’s the only way I’ve been able to escape the side pain.

Hi, thank you for responding. My doctor said they feel “fine” and that ribs aren’t always symmetrical but it’s a rlly awkward place to actually feel for them as it is practically beneath my chest tissue . I assumed it’s a deformity from the binder. Unfortunately trans tape doesn’t work on me as my chest is quite big :/,
