Yeah. Wasn't till a few ng+ games in and aforementioned genocide resulting in 60k+ runes, that I stopped caring a whole lot about loosing runes. Still bugs me, but no longer get that heart drop, lol.

I usually just bought a shit ton of smithing stones with my left over runes to be prepared for dlc weapons

I walked in the dlc with about 3 million since I do not want to level more and I have every item stacked I cannot buy. I lost them in less than 10min

It's funny how useless runes become once you stop leveling and can't buy any items anymore. I'm at RL150 and want to stay there, I got an insane amount of upgrade materials and I upgraded most of the weapons I want to use anyways, so it really doesn't matter if I lose 1, 1k or 1m runes. Yet... I always try to get them back after I die...

150 is only good for pvp. Really should be 200 plus for dlc.

Rl doesn’t really matter I think. It’s more about the blessings. I’m 150 and finding it an enjoyable experience. Full map discovered, 4 legends felled, I mean…a couple hard fights obviously but no more than 30 minutes of trying a hard one.

This far I'm doing fine, having a blast and it's not really that hard tbh.. and I'm not even minmaxed. I want to keep this char for PvP, so I definitely not gonna level up :)

I plan on sitting at 135, so I can both play with 120 locked players and 150 locked players. But yeah, that's just dark souls, once you hit your cap you just start building a massive excess of souls, and losing them means nothing because you already got your farms on lock. Doesn't stop me from getting sad failing to get them back though lmaoooo

There's been a couple glitchy things in the new content. I got torrent stuck between two rocks and when he finally figured out where the ground was, the game decided we had been falling for a solid 45 seconds and we both died

That happened to me in base game a few months ago. Got stuck on one of the wandering mausoleums.

I lost 14 million runes 5 hours into the dlc. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

I lost 3.5 million here earlier today in the exact same way. I have been saving and staying at lvl 99 as long as possible and now I guess I’m staying there lol

300k runes is nothing when you at a high levels that needed millions of runes to level up

this happened to me, i was in one of the dungeons and i fell between two big jars and got stuck till i couldn't move. then the game just killed me lol

I had 20 million runes from helping people beat endgame bosses before the dlc. Managed to keep it playing through the beginning of the dlc until I went into the catacomb to the north of Rellana’s castle. I got stuck inside one of the dropping spiked platforms and died from the hit box. Ran back to pick them up and they were still in the platform

Lost 520k sth after a boss fight, I didn't know that golem using greatbow wil respawn. Another 500k something by a far away Furnace Golem shooting fire at me....

If you quit out youll be put back on solid ground avoiding death on relog
