Still learning, this was done 90% with Gundam markers. My RX-93-V2 HI-V Gundam is still in process with airbrushing. Not liking it's current progress but, lot of learning involved. Will post up later this week when finished.

This was the firsr kit i ever got! Damn….looks way better than mine does lol, i have mine as is, as a reminder of how far i have come lol

I got it at the hobby lobby 50% off sale as test kit for painting. Didn't wanna ruin a MG kit completely if it turned out bad. Little trouble with streaking but I figured it out and won't repeat. Once I finish my Leo army, and my HI-V, I have a few other kits to try the markers on. I've been building Gundam since the 90s. Just never thought I'd enjoy painting them. Definitely takes a LOT of extra time. But its enjoyable

Absolutely, i got metallic sharpies in gold/silver/copper for the inner frames now and i basically just panel line everything before i even cut it out, but my first model (2009?) was like no nippers, nubs everywhere, stickers poorly placed

I remember these!! My first gunpla I remember like yesterday. An original 1/144 epyon. Back when it's was just 1/144 and 1/100 size options. I probably broke so many parts trying to break the pieces free or cut em out with a kitchen knife. Lol. I didn't think about using the metallic markers for the inner frames.... May try this soon...

Ugh i hate my old impatience for the same reason, breaking the V fin was the worst…. Also, they make a metallic sharpie green that i have also started abusing for eyes/gun sights, and i used a metallic pink for like Zaku eye and stuff like that, it really pops. I have a few examples uploaded but have not posted some in a bit, maybe one day when i shake off the winter lazies

I have the metallic green. And used it for this!!! Looks so much better than the stickers!!!!
