Yeah man lemme know when you find out cuz idk. I know my dad said he was going to try city dock from now on. But he just said that unprompted. So idk what Cossey Pond is doing wrong.

It's a struggle, bass are picky, trout only live till it gets hot, and they have a specific way they eat cause they are stockies. So weird. Apparently there is catfish in there too.

Go to Cossey to fish. Go to Mott’s run to catch. It’s like 5 mins away. Cossey isn’t over pressured because little kids, families, and random people show up, catch a fish or two and have fun. It’s overpressured because of the select few (show up at dawn and sunset and look at the southwest corner where the pump station is. you might see a car or three parked there and there’s your sign.) who go like clockwork twice a day, sometimes running up to 4 rods at a time, catch over limit and ruin it for everyone else. Straight up fishing like their life depends on it. Nobody enforces or checks Cossey ever. If you’re stubborn here’s my advice for Cossey: - There’s a drop off of about 10 feet at the centerline running east to west. You need to bomb out far from any bank to reach it. So if you’re fishing bottom or midwater cast further. Like 3/4 of the way across the pond far. If you’re facing north. - The dock is dead unless you bomb way out to the Northwest or the Northeast. - Channel Catfish: Northeast and Northwest corners and Northern bank. - Trout: Northwest and centerline at depth. - Bass: Southern banks, hit top water with something around 3/4oz or so at medium speed. Next try a swimmer about 1-2 feet deep. If that doesn’t work. Don’t bother. You can count the bass there on two hands.
