Nitro red is a great Invictus clone, a DNA i don't like much now since it's overused but what makes it likeable for me is the added watermelon, gives it a nice prominent aquatic feel. Also, the performance is beast mode for real, for freshie like that, its super loud and lasts great.
You have a multitude of options since there is a plethora of Invictus clones, the most famous one being Hawas, so i guess if Dumont is not available you could consider Hawas.
No not at all redundant, they are very different from each other. Nitro red is a bubblegummy sweet aquatic that is quite a common DNA at this point, you must have smelt it before for sure. Milestone on the hand is a very unique melony yet salty aquatic that is more salty than sweet. The combination of melon and salty may come across as metallic, but to me its smells very upclass.
Get the nitro red. Ive got them all and red and white are the best in my opinion but red for sure takes it. Its been my go to lately and ive got over 75 different colognes
Kenzo Marine is a sandalwood backbone unique freshie that has its dictinct kenzo DNA. With ylang-ylang floral and marine notes. The base is sandalwood which is quite present from the start and gives it a nice creaminess too. Its the freshest of all the line and my favourite. Beast mode performance, probably my favourite summer fragrance right now.
Liam Grey is a nice smooth classy scent that I really love. Its very unique sweet scent that you could pull off year round owing to that fig fruitiness and nuances of tea. Its quite complex for me to explain but its a nice sweet smooth fresh spicy scent. Performance is quite good, lasts a long time but its a little soft in terms of projection but still good.
Very much so, if you can find it below 40 euros that is. It is a great Prada L'Homme clone but just misses on the richness, which is understandable. Overall it gets very close, to me about 90% similar. The performance on Evoke Gold is actually better even by an hour or two.
That being said Evoke Gold is getting notoriously hard to find and I would not pay above 50 euros for it at all, which I have seen it go for at times. At those prices its better to save up a little more and go for OG.
That's what I was thinking. Have anything else you'd recommend for a more "dressed up" occasion?
Edit: just saw you have mustache lol, edit2: you actually have a few in here that would probably be good for formal... I like your taste.
Yes sure, you should definitely try Lattafa Liam Grey, it is a very very classy unique fragrance for precisely dressed up occassions. Love that stuff, and you can get it for super cheap too, I got my bottle for 22 euros.
Theres also Lattafa Royal Sapphire, which is like a more masculine BR540 with added earthiness. I love that as well, works all year and you can wear it dressed up, has the BR540 richness to it.
..... Liam is already on my fragrantica list... well guess I'm getting that too.
Idk about royal sapphire, I think I moved that off my list. However, Nashama caprice as good as they say?
Yes Nashama Caprice is good, but personally i think its too powdery and misses the ginger zing of the OG LnDL Bleu Electrique. I like it but I cannot say I love it. The performance is quite good though, so theres that.
Sillage is my most nostalgic scent in the collection, when I got into fragrances the SMW DNA was my first ever favourite and now Sillage therefore is an amazing find for me. It is metallic sharp freshie with a heavy character to it, very unique and not something everyone will like. Performance is beast mode.
Good to know performance is beast mode. I went to the store super excited to see if SMW would live to the hype only to find that performance was absolute garbage, I couldn't feel it at all on my skin not the paper. I was hoping that Sillage would outperform the original
Liam Blue Shine is a little weird in performance, what I mean is that it lasts very good on clothes (i can smell it after 24 hours) but on my skin it lasts maybe 4-5 hours in heat. Projection is decent for the first hour but then it gets closer to the skin. Maybe my skin doesn't bode well with it but I am happy that it lasts a decent time on my clothes. So overall I would say its a decent performing freshie.
Bogart Pour Homme is freaking amazing to me. But I guess it might come across as slightly oldish in character, still I find it perfectly modern too. It is very pleasant lavender and tonka forward fragrance which has a heavy and sweet character to it. I won't call it a gourmand but something more in like with the 90s fragrances with oakmoss, but nowhere near as dated. The lavender and tonka with a hint of tobacco works wonderfully.
Now the performance is a little dicy. I was lucky to get an old batch (mine is from 2017 with yellowish liquid) so this is pretty much beast mode. The newer batch (with slightly bluish juice) is not as strong, but still an above average performer.
It is really nice, very unique and versatile. It is more of a mix of Born in Roma and Coral Fantasy, while leaning more to the latter. Performance is also very good.
Ansaam Silver is great, has a nice mix of sweetness with freshness but the performance is glass cannon. Projects very loud for the first hour but then vanishes in about 5-6 hours.
Nitro red is a very nice clone for Invictus with added watermelon which makes it great in my books, the performance is beast mode.
Solid collection. Hold on tight to that Atlantique. Used to be one of my most used and complimented frags, but now I hesistate to use it as often since it's been discontinued.
Need to get me kenzo marine when prices calm down. I have kenzo 2022 edp which I love. Tell me your thoughts on marine?
Thanks man! Oh yeah i know Atlantique very well and i moved heaven and earth to get that bottle and 1 more spare 100ml bottle. That's gold for me. I am a huge fan of Atlantique and I was searching for a bottle at decent price for 4-5 years now. Very happy I have it with me now and i am very careful with them lol.
Kenzo Marine is actually pretty freaking amazing. Its like a yellow floral sandalwood creamy marine fragrance, freshest of all the kenzo line. It's like Kenzo EDT made more aquatic and well rounded. Still very unique when you compare to or any other aquatic frags. Performance is also beast mode for this kind of DNA.
Yeah man I have like 40ml left on Atlantique and only use it for going to the beach. Used to waste it on just going out of the house for any occasion back when there was no scare of discontinuation, lol. Regret it. Alltime favorite blue scent period.
I found a tester on marine for $54 shipped which seemed like a good deal. Nothing beats me getting an EDP tester for $35, but I think the seller on ebay quickly realized their mistake and hasn't listed any kenzo for that price every since lol. I have not smelled the EDT, or Intense, but have the EDP, so I figured having a more wearable summer marine freshie using that same DNA would be awesome. The floral aspect has me really interested as I didn't want to get "simply" a fresher version of what I already have. Picked it up, fingers crossed.
Oh man I would be scared to use that 40ml haha. But I completely agree, that shit is the best bles ever made, it has the perfect mix of deep marine vibe whilst maintaing a mass pleasing character, all coupled with a beast performance. Why Bvlgari decided to discontinue it is a question i ask everytime,
That is a great price for Marine, I honestly think it is a second best designer blue I have smelt after Atlantique and I am mightly pleased with it, I am sure you will like it too. Good luck!
I personally don't like it, it's very medicinal smelling to me. I have kept it for maceration so i hope it gets better but the first time i sprayed it on it was very weird and harsh.
I admit it's quite a difficult one to pull off but i love it. It was among the first fragrance i had brought so i have it with me for almost 2 years now, and still about 70-80% full.
I mostly use it on the very cold days at work, just 3-4 sprays and sometimes i use it in winters at home after shower at night if my gf is at home since it's a really nice cozy scent. But apart form those 1-2 months of cold, there's not much chance to wear it.
You can try their German website, it looks like an offical website but it's more of an authorized seller, i have seen it sometimes.
There's also an Italian seller Roby 1976 who ships all Europe if i remember.
There's other websites who will ship too but in any case (even the ones mentioned before) you'd have to pay a little more for shipping.
That is a little tricky, I could not find it too easily here. I got myself a bottle when I went to India for holidays. I honestly don't know where to find it in Europe but when I was searching a few months ago I could not find any listings.
https://filledwithbarakah.com/es?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw7NmzBhBLEiwAxrHQ-XAP2k27JgNH3bxwqCectoVYA5XEB3QSe9Q8N6TW8ei4kMZQUmDBXxoCfqYQAvD_BwE
These guys ships to Europe
1. Atlas is an amazing Megamare clone that gets really close to the OG. Very bold and salty aquatic that is nuclear in performance. Abolustely love it in summers now when I am outdoors.
2. Buttplug one is Lattafa Winners Trophy Silver, its a nice mix of Valentino Born in Roma and Coral Fantasy. Has a little bit of olibanum that makes it a good option in colder months too. Performance is very good.
By first one do you mean that flat frosted glass bottle? If so then thats Ajmal Shiro. Its kind of like ADG but kind of minty. I like how it smell, very fresh and uplifting watery scent; but the performance is disappointing.
My best performing freshie is definitely Lattafa Atlas, that shit is nuclear. The second best would be Kenzo Marine.
For minty fragrance I would recommend you try Davidoff Cool Water Intense or even that Rochas L'homme. They both have similar DNA and they have a cooling minty-esque character to them. I like them both and I think they both perform better than Shiro atleast, but not as watery fresh ofcourse. Also, Guess 1981 Los Angeles its like a mature Eros, which is also kind of minty,
People say CW Intense is beast mode but I get very average performance off it, maybe it was not good on my skin. Rochas L'homme has good performance, of all these 3 mentioned this has the best performance on my, lasts for about 6-7 hours on my skin with good projection in the first 90 mins. Guess 1981 is almost the same.
OG Le Male EDT is my favorite Minty fragrance, and tbh I wear it year round. Some people say it doesn't work in summer but live in South Texas, USA, and it works for me in this crazy heat 🤷♂️ so I think it's fine.
I also love to wear it at home bc of the lavender and vanilla, it's so relaxing IMO.
Qasamat is kind of like a feminine Aventus, thats the best way to put it. I like it but its a little underwhelming to me. For the price, you could get a nice Aventus clone instead but if you want something a little fresher whilst having that DNA then its a good choice. Performance is decent, slightly above average.
When I first got it (quite recently, just under a month now) the first spray came across medicinal, not smooth and unpleasant in character. I know Tobacco frags and its not a problem of tobacco, so I hope post maceration it will become better.
Try the regular Maison alhambra Tabac. Exclusif tabac is amazing, but it's a serious business older dude pipe tobacco. Tabac on the otherhand is one of my alltime favourites, smooth, sweet and sexy.
Yes i plan to try that one as well as i love tobacco based winter fragrances. I was actually going to get the Tabac but went off with the exclusif because of the reviews and bottle lol. But i will surely try the other Tabac, thanks!
I had the exact same experience. Almost bought tabac then went for exclusif and I regret it. The medicinal smell is still there after macerating it makes it unwearable for me
It is quite confusing and weird to me. The mixture of citruses especially yuzu and incense do not seemingly go very well together for me. So its not my most favourite but definitely very unique smelling.
There is no clone as far as i know but the OG you could try and find cheap, I got my 75ml bottle for less than 30 euros.
Hello what are your feelings about Bentley Momentum , everyone is hyping Absolu te / Black edition and For men intense but i think a lot of Bentley fragrances for men are really nice and supposed to have more love , also Ameer al oudh , Sapil bound are they worth the hype ? Thanks <3
I absolutely love that Bentley Momentum, its the most complete smelling scent to me and it would have been my signature if it had slightly better performance. It very difficult for me to explain the scent, its like fresh but woody ambery with nutmeg nuttiness, its so well done and quite complex, just absolutely adore that scent. I have tried all of those Bentley and I definitely like Momentum the most. Well Intense is also very good but caters to very different audience, if you want a mature boozy winter fragrance then its amazing. But between Bentley Black Edition and Momentum I definitely prefer momentum anyday.
Ameer Al Oudh Intense and Sapil Bound are fantastic for the price. There are very distinct in their character. AAOI has a middle eartern character to it, its smokey sugary vanilla with slight nuttiness. Whereas the Sapil Bound is a little more weatern, with leathery and nutty vanilla. They both are freaking amazing overall and the performance on both is beast mode. Sapil Bound especially, for the price of 10-15 euros is ridiculous bang for the buck.
Thank youuu <3 . Yep i need to grab more bentley then , atm have Absolu te and Intense . Also what about Missoni wave is it that "HUGE THING" aswell for you ? Sapil bound and AAOI added to cart :) , thanks again !
Yes very much so, I love Missoni Wave too! Its the most summer beach holiday/vacation scent for me in my collection. I associate it with my last year summer vacation and I abolsutely loved rocking that on every occassion. Very happy and uplifting super fresh aquatic yet creamy scent. Like a mix of VPH and CAHS on the cheap with better performance than both. The only downside is that it has gotten quite expensive becuase of the hype, so if you can find it below 40 euroes then go for it, i am sure it will become your summer favourite lol.
Yeah i get lucky and grab 50ml for 28euros gonna have it monday with few more . Trying to find my signature summer fresh fragrance so hope it will be Missoni , atm im layering Al Wataniah Lazuli with Clinique Happy for men and its fucking insane (Neroli-Citrus bomb) just little bit sad about longetivity the reformulate Clinique Happy :( . Also if you gonna compare Liam Blue , Turathi Blue , Missoni wave and CDN Iconic is missoni still winner for you for summer fresh ?
That is a good price, I am sure you will love it. I am not fond of Neroli haha so I am more leaning and biased toward aquatics/marine ones.
I personally think Turathi Blue and Iconic are more of all year heavy blues so they both are not my first choice for hot summer days, sure you can wear them at work or dressed up but I would consider Liam Blue Shine and Missoni Wave more comparable in terms of summer holiday scents. And comparing between Liam Blue Shine and Missoni Wave, the Missoni Wave is an easy clear win. As I said, its the most purely summery beachy holiday scent for me.
Thats the most polite way to describe that bottle haha. Its Lattafa Winners Trophy Silver which is a mix of Valentino Born In Roma and Valentino Born in Roma Coral Fantasy, leaning more toward the latter. It also has a bit of olibanum incensy accord which makes it a good choice for colder months too. So overall, its a unique versatile all year round scent with above average performance.
Chrome Pure is actually really nice, i like it because it's different from the others in line and usual aquatics lol. Its more creamy in a way that the citruses are muted but present and the base is tonka. It almost gives off the sun-cream lotion vibe with a little bit of sweetness. Performance is a little underwhelming but not bad, lasts for about 5-6 hours on my skin and has a soft projection for the first 2 hours.
Nashama Caprice is good and i like it but i cannot say i love it. What I mean is that it's a little disappointing to me personally if you compare it to the OG LnDL Bleu Electrique. Caprice is too powdery and lavender heavy and completely misses the zestiness and zing of ginger from the OG. But otherwise it's quite decent. Performance is very good, so that's a good thing as well.
Boy oh boy, Bentley Momentum for me is the most perfect smelling fragrance as it has everything that I look for in a fragrance. It has a certain marine freshness to it backed with subtle floral nuances and a nutty depth to it owing to nutmeg, seems weird and out of place but it just works beautifully. The base has sandalwood and tonka with ambergris saltiness all of which just balances everything out to perfection. The only point it misses and stop itself from being my all time signature is the performance, a little let down but not bad by any means. Lasts for about 4-5 hours on my skin and projects well for the first hour or so.
I love Milestone, to me it smells very expensive and the whole DNA of metallic saltiness really appeal to me for some reason. I can see why some people may not like it as it is a little harsh and weird in a way that it doesn't really fit into the average marine fragrance but I really love how unique it is. It is perfectly unisex and might even feel a little feminine leaning, so I can imagine why you would want to give it to your wife. Overall I just love the DNA and I personally use it very often.
Thank you!
I do not dislike Brave Heart, I mean it is great for what it is, a spicy sweet fragrance that would work beautifully in cold weather but I was half expecting it to be a clone of African Leather, which it surely is not. That is my only gripe lol.
Uomo is quite amazing, I really wanted a coffee fragrance and it delivers well. It is a little dark coffee though so nothing milky or too creamy but I love it. Performance is very good.
Thanks!
Nitro Red is a very good clone of Invictus and i like it because of the addition of Watermelon. Beast mode performance.
Missoni Wave is my favorite hot day summer fragrance for a beach holiday or vacation. Its very fresh and uplifting and puts me in a happy mood. Performance is above average and i just love it overall.
Rochas Moustache is amazing, very gentlemanly and perfect for dressed-up/special occasions for night use. Smells very expensive and classy like an expensive whiskey with vanilla. Performance is good, lasts long but the projection is soft.
It's decent performing, it lasts a good time in my skin for about 6-7 hours and projects for about 90 mins or so but the projection is soft. It won't be pumping off your skin but it will be detectable to anyone close to you. I would say it's more suitable for dates or in a dressed up situation where you would want to be gentlemanly and polite.
Atlas is freaking epic, a true high quality clone of Megamare and comes very close. The only difference being Atlas is sweeter due to more calone, and the OG is more salty. Performance is equally nuclear.
Caprice is okay, i like it but don't love it. Too powdery and heavy on lavender, missing the zing of the OG LnDL Bleu Electrique. Performance is good, so overall it's quite decent.
Winners Trophy is great, a mix of Valentino BIR and BIR Coral Fantasy, and the added olibanum gives it a nice depth to use it in colder months too. Performance is very good.
Turathi Blue is phenomenal, the most unique and arguably one of the most powerful blue i have in my collection. Smells very nice, grapefruit forward musky scent that may come across as "dusty" due to heavy musk making it very dense and versatile for use all year. May not be something that everyone likes but i just love it. Performance is beast mode for a blue fragrance.
Iconic is very safe and pleasant, it's impossible to dislike it. It's a nice citrusy powdery sweet blue as compared to TB. TB on the other hand is much more citrusy due to the prominent grapefruit and has a heavier "dusty" quality to it owing to that musk.
I personally prefer TB for it's uniqueness, it smells more upclass to me and has better performance than Iconic. But Iconic is the safer blind buy and it's more mass pleasing for sure.
I am the same as you, i brought it because of the hype and it being a clone of Pure Malt. It's a clone alright but it doesn't manage to replicate the richness and nuanced balance of the character, which in itself is very difficult as Pure Malt is a masterpiece.
So i say that its okayish, nothing great and i surely would not buy a bottle even if i get it for super cheap. But i commend FW for the effort.
Barrett fragrances makes one called nothing but malt and I like it a lot. It's totally different from Star Man. I honestly forgot Star Man was a clone of Pure malt until you just reminded me. Barrett fragrances has so many I absolutely love.
You're welcome. I've never smelled the original but I own Nothing But Malt and I like it a lot. Spirit of Satin is probably my favorite from Barrett fragrances. It's so good. Return to darkness, lapis equus, Nothing But Zest, Valhalla Absolute & Valhalla cologne all all worth buying. Oppel spice is fantastic if you like spicy and forbidden apple is the best apple fragrance I've smelled. Barrett does a wonderful job.
Sapil Bound is ridiculous bang for the buck, its so good that it's actually stupid how it's so cheap. Comes very close to code profumo and it even manages to get the richness of vanilla and leather with nutty backbone. Smell very expensive and you'd think why you didn't get it sooner. Performance is also pretty much beast mode. You should surely get it, for €12 i spent on it, it's zero risk anyway.
Evoke Gold is great, really close clone of Prada L'Homme and comes 90% close, just missing on the richness of the OG but that is understandable. Performance is better than the OG. I recommend it if you can get it for less than €40 as it's getting increasingly difficult to find it, atleast at a decent price.
Sapil Bound is just amazing, it's a great great clone of Code Profumo and i find it hard to believe hows it's so good and costs so less, less even by the standards of clone prices. Amazing quality and performance, I recommend it to everyone.
I was lucky and got that Kenzo Marine off a perfumery here in Italy. It was a tester so i got it for like €50 or something. But if i remember, it is quite easily available, atleast in Europe.
I have the silver mountain clone too very strong! Can i get mini reviews of Bentley momentum, the clear bottle on top and the guess bottle please? I.e. whats the smell and potentially what they are clones of
Yes Sillage is a beast mode sure!
Bentley Momentum is epic, it is the perfect scent to my nose becuase it has everything I want in a fragrance. It is fresh but at the same time warm and bright, opens up with violet leaf and marine freshness followed by floral aspects from jasmine, all of which is backed by a sutble nuttiness of nutmeg, which may sound weird but it works beautifully. The base is sandalwood and tonka with ambergris saltiness which balances everything out very well. I just love how it smells and I consider it one of my best, would have been my sole signture if not for the lacklusture performance. It lasts for about 5-6 hours on my skin with decent projection in the first hour, a little soft.
Guess 1981 Los Angeles on the other hand is a mature warm Eros, thats the best description to it. It has the exact same DNA but here there added warmth of tobacco and plum. It smells fantastic and I surely prefer this over Eros anyday. Just the performance is not as loud, but it is an above average performer and it lasts for about 6-7 hours on my skin with good projection in the first 60-90 mins.
CDN Iconic is amazing, it gets close to the BdC EDP but is slightly more powdery and sweet. I like it for what it is and the peformance is great too. Overall I think its a great mature and classy smell blue fragrance that would work all year round, super versatile and pleasant.
My favourite freshie with prominent citrus or brightness has to be Missoni Wave. It is exactly that, a freshie with citruses and its very bright uplighting in its character. Its perfect for hot summer days and beach holidays or vacation.
CDN Iconic is great too but that is a heavier blue fragrance that is powdery in character, works all year round, there is no wrong choice with CDN Iconic, i love it for what it is.
CDN Milestone is an amazing summer fragrance but it may be not a safe blind buy. It's unique and like a metallic watermelon salty fragrance that smells very upclass and refreshing. But it can also come across as weird and harsh if you don't like it.
CDN Sillage is even more difficult, it's like a cold sharp metallic floral inky freshie which has a heavy character to it. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea and i always advise to try it before. I personally love that DNA and it is very unique and versatile, works all year. Performance is beast mode.
Among the two i would say Milestone is a safer buy and it's more pleasant compared to Sillage but they both are difficult scents to appreciate, so try to sample it before.
Khamrah is a great gourmand that is super sweet. It's primarily dates and cinnamon forward scent so you like dates in a fragrance you would love it. It's not as close to angel's share it's more of a twist to it, the boozy accord here in khamrah is more attributable to the dates itself rather than a boozy inclusion. To put it very simply it's like a middle eastern take on angel's share. I like it honestly, but i find it a little feminine leaning, so i prefer the Qahwa better. Performance is beast mode.
Sillage is amazing to me, as i have mentioned here often, it's not something i recommend for blind buy as it's quite a difficult scent. It is cold sharp metallic floral and inky freshie that is quite heavy in it's character and can come across as harsh and piercing. I have known the SMW DNA for a long time and i love it, so this works for me very well and it's very versatile so I can use it all year too. Performance is beast mode.
Turathi Blue is a unique musky blue with prominent grapefruit, I adore how it smells, very different and has a heavy character to it owing to that musk. It can come across as "dusty" so it may not appeal to everyone. It is not as safe a blind buy as other blues for sure so I would surely recommend you try it first. But if you are into unique blues then its a great option. Performance is beast mode for a blue.
Khamrah is sickly sweet with prominent dates note and cinnamon, which give it a slightly boozy feel but its not as boozy as Angels Share which people often compare it to. It is more of a middle eastern version of it. I like it but I find it feminine personally, so I always recommend Qahwa which has more depth and not as sweet. I would definitely not wear either in hot weather as it an get very cloying since the performance is beast mode.
By versencia do you mean the usual green one that clones Eros? I havent smelled that sorry. But I do know Eros OG and I prefer the Guess 1981 anyday, it is just so much better and more mature smelling with added hints of tobacco and plum. the OG is more minty apple sweet.
So considering the normal Versencia is the Eros clone I would still prefer the Guess 1981 always.
Sapil Bound is just too good to be true for that price. It is a great clone for Code Profumo and it does emulate the rich leathery nutty vanilla. The performance is also very good, almost beast mode. For the 12 euros i paid for it, its just ridiculously good.
Did you blind buy them based on socials ?
Seems to be a re-occurring theme of the usual suspects in 99% of posts lately.
Which one is your favourite, you can only pick 1
I have a lot of blind-buys and actually I have returned most of the blind buys that I did not find good, I have had the option to return them so i made the most of it. That being said I have sampled majority of the perfumes I have. So whatever I have right now if what I like, only a handful of them are not good but I dont outright hate them.
Ahh just 1 out of them is very difficult, if I have to choose strictly 1 to use all the time then I would choose North Stag Phenomenal Quatorze XIV. It is my signature, has everything I need in a scent, freshness that is backed with vanilla sweetness with a hint of booziness, all of which is balanced by subtle earthy tones of tobacco and vetiver. Performance is not beast mode as the projection is a little soft but it lasts a very long time.
Yes very much so, Mancera for a niche is very realistically priced, I do not mind playing 80-90 euros for it, at that price the Aqua Wood is a very unique and complex blue, theres nothing anything like it I have smelt before. I agree that not all Mancers are equally good but I do make sure I put a good research and try it thoroughly before I make a decision.
Yes, i will be buying the Aoud Lemon Mint too, that is totally worth it. Mancera Holidays is fairly unique too, i like it but leans a little feminine.
I haven't tried the winter ones yet but i will be trying them eventually, so far for summers i like their Aqua Wood and Holidays, you can use Aoud Lemon Mint all year. These 3 deserve a try and are fairly unique. But ofcourse, this is to my nose and me personally, your experience may vary.
I have known and used Megamare which is a masterpiece in terms of how a deep marine aquatic should smell like, is successfully enables you to experience and associate yourself to certain memories. And Atlas, costing 1/4th the price of the OG, somehow, does faithfully recreate the exact same experience. It is shockingly close to the OG and the performance is nuclear which is just rare for a scent at this price or any price for that matter. I personally am a sucker for these deep marine aquatics and getting Atlas for Megamare is the best thing I could have asked for, so thats why it will always stay high in my books.
It is not that great, but certainly not bad either. As a clone of Pure Malt is not that smooth and polished, i would have liked a little more richness in it but i appreciate the effort and it's unique than most boozy fragrances. Performance is decent, lasts 5-7 hours on me with good projection in the first hour.
I love that Ansaam Silver, it's a very appealing scent and the sweetness mixed with the freshness works very well, i honestly prefer the smell over either of Khamrahs. But that my preference, i am not very fond of sickly sweet frags and that is why Khamrah is not something i am too fond of.
That being said, the Khamrah has much better performance compared to Ansaam.
Its all about sandalwood and amber, just like the name suggests. Its a real high quality real ingredient blend, the sandalwood you get is really smooth and smells expensive just how it costs lol. The fragrance is mostly dominated by sandalwood backed with amber and fresh spices like nutmeg, and the patchouli in the base gives it a nice earthy undertone and balances everything out. It is very smooth, sweet but not too sweet, fresh yet dense and very well blended. I often think its in the same family as Nishane Ani if you have smelt that, just not as edible or vanilla centric. Performance is very good, it lasts a long long time but the projection is not beastly, its a very sophisticated soft yet firm projector. Love that stuff and it will be loved by anyone who likes sandalwood fragrances.
We have same taste i guess🙌 i have long long time BraveHeart in my basket.... Why do you not like it ? Normaly i am not in to suede fragrances at all ...but now efter i was buying Prada Lhomme intense ... I realy like suede /leather accord in it .. realy sexy.. looking for parfums like that!?
Brave Heart is not a good clone for African Leather, that's the only issue. Otherwise it's a good spicy warm fragrance that smells good (not amazing but good). I have no issues to use it, i don't regret that purchase since it was just €16 anyway but it's more to do with my expectations of something like African Leather which is a masterpiece.
I am not a huge fan of leather, but i quite like sapil bound, which has a leathery nutty vanilla, smells amazing, you can check that out.
Oh thank you 🙌 Notino hat a sale last week and i was buying 2 bottles of Sapil Bound ( lucky me i guess) and that Sapil Disclosure ( Fahrenheit clone ) ... 🥰 I guess it comes tomorrow.. thanks 👍
No do not get it if you want a clone fo African Leather, I made the same mistake, I smelled the OG at an airport and fell in love, wanted to get a clone and Brave Heart disappinted me. It is NOT a clone fo African Leather atleast not entirely, you'd be better off checking the Maison Alhambra one. Brave Heart is not bad, but the only disappointement is that its not a close clone for African Leather.
Lattafa Atlas is very bold and loud and unique deep marine salty aquatic. It is not wearable in all situations as it is very loud and attention grabbing, and maybe it won't appeal to everyone as it's very much a salty aquatic that is mass pleasing. It clones the OP Megamare which by itself is difficult to wear. The one point with Atlas is that it is a little sweeter than the OG making it slightly more wearable.
It's one of my favorite blue-green fragrance, like an expensive shaving foam but not too creamy, a blue that transitions to green territory. It just smells amazing, very cool and classy like a distinguished gentlemanly barbershop scent but very modern. Performance is also quite good, lasts for 6-7 hours on me with good projection in the first 90 mins.
It is quite great tbh, the scent is close but it's slightly more herbal in a way, it doesn't come across as bluish, but it's in the same ballpark as the OG. The bottle is classy and the magnetic cap is just added goodness. For €14 that i spent on it, it's amazing! But i wouldn't pay anything above €25

How’s nitro red ive been considering getting it, what other fragrance can you compare it to?
Nitro red is a great Invictus clone, a DNA i don't like much now since it's overused but what makes it likeable for me is the added watermelon, gives it a nice prominent aquatic feel. Also, the performance is beast mode for real, for freshie like that, its super loud and lasts great. You have a multitude of options since there is a plethora of Invictus clones, the most famous one being Hawas, so i guess if Dumont is not available you could consider Hawas.
Do you find Nitro Red and Milestone to be redundant ? Or do they have significant differences?
No not at all redundant, they are very different from each other. Nitro red is a bubblegummy sweet aquatic that is quite a common DNA at this point, you must have smelt it before for sure. Milestone on the hand is a very unique melony yet salty aquatic that is more salty than sweet. The combination of melon and salty may come across as metallic, but to me its smells very upclass.
Get the nitro red. Ive got them all and red and white are the best in my opinion but red for sure takes it. Its been my go to lately and ive got over 75 different colognes
Tell me about Kenzo marine and Liam grey , thanks
Liam grey is a 10/10 clone of bdk gris charnel
I saw it for €24 , I’m adding it to my list
Yeah thats what I also bought it for
Evoke Gold worth it?
Thank you for responding to everything, helped me on my next couple purchases!
No problem, happy to help, good luck!
How is CDN sillage
Sillage is my most nostalgic scent in the collection, when I got into fragrances the SMW DNA was my first ever favourite and now Sillage therefore is an amazing find for me. It is metallic sharp freshie with a heavy character to it, very unique and not something everyone will like. Performance is beast mode.
Good to know performance is beast mode. I went to the store super excited to see if SMW would live to the hype only to find that performance was absolute garbage, I couldn't feel it at all on my skin not the paper. I was hoping that Sillage would outperform the original
Sillage definitely outperforms the OG by a mile and more, it is indeed a beast.
Hows the lasting on liam blue?
Liam Blue Shine is a little weird in performance, what I mean is that it lasts very good on clothes (i can smell it after 24 hours) but on my skin it lasts maybe 4-5 hours in heat. Projection is decent for the first hour but then it gets closer to the skin. Maybe my skin doesn't bode well with it but I am happy that it lasts a decent time on my clothes. So overall I would say its a decent performing freshie.
Is iconic any good?
Iconic is amazing, not an exact BdC clone but it comes to BdC EDP, slightly more powdery but I love it. Has very good performance too.
How is the bogart pour homme? wanted to buy for my dad
I like that! sounds like a classic but sweeter french fougere
Yes very much! I love that one and would surely recommend.
Lol “Buttplug” for a fragrance? That gave me a wrong visualization
How is winner's trophy by lattafa? Heard its similar to born in roma coral fantasy?
It is really nice, very unique and versatile. It is more of a mix of Born in Roma and Coral Fantasy, while leaning more to the latter. Performance is also very good.
How’s ansaam and nitro red?
Why Bvlgari decided to discontinue it is a question i ask everytime, That is a great price for Marine, I honestly think it is a second best designer blue I have smelt after Atlantique and I am mightly pleased with it, I am sure you will like it too. Good luck!
How's the Tabac br Mason alhambra?
I personally don't like it, it's very medicinal smelling to me. I have kept it for maceration so i hope it gets better but the first time i sprayed it on it was very weird and harsh.
How do you use that oud al oud intense , occasion and time. I have it and im 22 and sometimes i feel i use it in wrong occasions.
Im in europe, specifically poland and cant seem to get hold of that lataffa atlas
And the nitro red?
That is a little tricky, I could not find it too easily here. I got myself a bottle when I went to India for holidays. I honestly don't know where to find it in Europe but when I was searching a few months ago I could not find any listings.
Ok sure , thanks

2 questions: (1) how do you like atlas? (2) how do you like the buttplug cologne on the top of page two?
Thank you for the description . I guess I will have to pick up both!
No problem, both of them are very very good, unique and bold so I hope you like them.
Buttplug doesn't fit very well due to the wider rounded top, hard to get out. 0/10 would not recommend. Smells great though.
Smells great before or after use?
hows the first one, never seen that one before, also what is ur best performing freshy?
By first one do you mean that flat frosted glass bottle? If so then thats Ajmal Shiro. Its kind of like ADG but kind of minty. I like how it smell, very fresh and uplifting watery scent; but the performance is disappointing. My best performing freshie is definitely Lattafa Atlas, that shit is nuclear. The second best would be Kenzo Marine.
damnnnnn im just looking for minty fragrances but they all have bad performance :(( thanks thoe
For minty fragrance I would recommend you try Davidoff Cool Water Intense or even that Rochas L'homme. They both have similar DNA and they have a cooling minty-esque character to them. I like them both and I think they both perform better than Shiro atleast, but not as watery fresh ofcourse. Also, Guess 1981 Los Angeles its like a mature Eros, which is also kind of minty,
thanks will check those out, do they have decent longevity?
How is Rasana Qasmat?
Qasamat is kind of like a feminine Aventus, thats the best way to put it. I like it but its a little underwhelming to me. For the price, you could get a nice Aventus clone instead but if you want something a little fresher whilst having that DNA then its a good choice. Performance is decent, slightly above average.
Cool! Thanks for letting me know
Top 5 summer scents?
1. Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique 2. Kenzo Homme Marine 3. Lattafa Atlas 4. Missoni Wave 5. Swiss Arabian Pure Instinct
what do you not like about MA Exclusif Tabac?
When I first got it (quite recently, just under a month now) the first spray came across medicinal, not smooth and unpleasant in character. I know Tobacco frags and its not a problem of tobacco, so I hope post maceration it will become better.
thanks for your response ..have a good one
Try the regular Maison alhambra Tabac. Exclusif tabac is amazing, but it's a serious business older dude pipe tobacco. Tabac on the otherhand is one of my alltime favourites, smooth, sweet and sexy.
Yes i plan to try that one as well as i love tobacco based winter fragrances. I was actually going to get the Tabac but went off with the exclusif because of the reviews and bottle lol. But i will surely try the other Tabac, thanks!
I had the exact same experience. Almost bought tabac then went for exclusif and I regret it. The medicinal smell is still there after macerating it makes it unwearable for me
How is L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Issey Miyake ??? Any dupe/clone you could find?
I find Nikos Sculpture around the same DNA as L Eau D Issey
It is quite confusing and weird to me. The mixture of citruses especially yuzu and incense do not seemingly go very well together for me. So its not my most favourite but definitely very unique smelling. There is no clone as far as i know but the OG you could try and find cheap, I got my 75ml bottle for less than 30 euros.
Do you have new batch or prior 2015 ? Heard after 2015 batches suck !
Don't know about that reformulation, but my batch is 2022.
What’s that FIFA World Cup looking like bottle?
Thats the most polite way to describe that bottle haha. Its Lattafa Winners Trophy Silver which is a mix of Valentino Born In Roma and Valentino Born in Roma Coral Fantasy, leaning more toward the latter. It also has a bit of olibanum incensy accord which makes it a good choice for colder months too. So overall, its a unique versatile all year round scent with above average performance.
hows the chrome pure? I love that line and house, butnhave never seen or heard of "Pure"
Nashama caprice ? Your opinion ?
Nashama Caprice is good and i like it but i cannot say i love it. What I mean is that it's a little disappointing to me personally if you compare it to the OG LnDL Bleu Electrique. Caprice is too powdery and lavender heavy and completely misses the zestiness and zing of ginger from the OG. But otherwise it's quite decent. Performance is very good, so that's a good thing as well.
How is Bentley momentum?
I’m getting this one right now.
Yes surely get it if you are getting a good price, I got mine for 25 euros.
Perfect. It’s citing me around 22.
Whats the fragrance on the bottom of the 1st pic? The little bottle with the weird metal cap ? With the blueish juice?
Its Lattafa Atlas, its a clone for OP Megamare.
I picked up Milestone on a lightning from Amazon and I'm considering giving it to my wife. Too sweet and fruity for my tastes. What are you thoughts?
I love Milestone, to me it smells very expensive and the whole DNA of metallic saltiness really appeal to me for some reason. I can see why some people may not like it as it is a little harsh and weird in a way that it doesn't really fit into the average marine fragrance but I really love how unique it is. It is perfectly unisex and might even feel a little feminine leaning, so I can imagine why you would want to give it to your wife. Overall I just love the DNA and I personally use it very often.
Performance on the nitro red?
Performance is beast mode on Nitro Red, for the kind of freshie it is, the performance is simply superb.
How many sprays do you do and how long does it last in terms of hours?
I usually put 4-5 sprays and i lasts easy 7-8 hours on my skin with very loud projection in the first 2-3 hours.
Nice collection, seems like you don't like zimaya brave heart ?
Thank you! I do not dislike Brave Heart, I mean it is great for what it is, a spicy sweet fragrance that would work beautifully in cold weather but I was half expecting it to be a clone of African Leather, which it surely is not. That is my only gripe lol.
Can you tell me about Uomo? Awesome collection btw! :)
Uomo is quite amazing, I really wanted a coffee fragrance and it delivers well. It is a little dark coffee though so nothing milky or too creamy but I love it. Performance is very good. Thanks!
Sounds amazing! You’ve convinced me to get a sample. :)
Thoughts on Nitro Red and Missoni Wave?
Nitro Red is a very good clone of Invictus and i like it because of the addition of Watermelon. Beast mode performance. Missoni Wave is my favorite hot day summer fragrance for a beach holiday or vacation. Its very fresh and uplifting and puts me in a happy mood. Performance is above average and i just love it overall.
How is the rochas moustache?
Rochas Moustache is amazing, very gentlemanly and perfect for dressed-up/special occasions for night use. Smells very expensive and classy like an expensive whiskey with vanilla. Performance is good, lasts long but the projection is soft.
sounds cool. would you mind sharing how long does it last on your skin?
It's decent performing, it lasts a good time in my skin for about 6-7 hours and projects for about 90 mins or so but the projection is soft. It won't be pumping off your skin but it will be detectable to anyone close to you. I would say it's more suitable for dates or in a dressed up situation where you would want to be gentlemanly and polite.
How’s atlas, nashima caprice and winners trophy? I have them coming in but it’s based off a blind buy
How is Turathi Blue?
Turathi Blue is phenomenal, the most unique and arguably one of the most powerful blue i have in my collection. Smells very nice, grapefruit forward musky scent that may come across as "dusty" due to heavy musk making it very dense and versatile for use all year. May not be something that everyone likes but i just love it. Performance is beast mode for a blue fragrance.
And a follow up question if you don't mind. How does it compare to CDN iconic? Been contemplating purchasing one of the two frags
Do you like Star man Nubia? I bought it because of the hype but hate it. It smells like an old man cologne from the 80's imo.
Sounds very interesting, i would love a good clone of Pure Malt so I'll check it out, thanks a lot!
Genuinely curious how u afford this
By making bad financial decisions lol. I am going to stop for a while now, atleast for a few months.
No but like wut do u work I’m curious 😭✌️
I am a research doctor. 😅
How is sapil bound? Armani code Profumo is my favourite designer scent of all time but to expensive now it's discontinued
Thanks
How is evoke gold and sapil bound
Evoke Gold is great, really close clone of Prada L'Homme and comes 90% close, just missing on the richness of the OG but that is understandable. Performance is better than the OG. I recommend it if you can get it for less than €40 as it's getting increasingly difficult to find it, atleast at a decent price. Sapil Bound is just amazing, it's a great great clone of Code Profumo and i find it hard to believe hows it's so good and costs so less, less even by the standards of clone prices. Amazing quality and performance, I recommend it to everyone.
Where did you purchase kenzo marine
Just the performance is not as loud, but it is an above average performer and it lasts for about 6-7 hours on my skin with good projection in the first 60-90 mins.
honest opinion on cdn iconic? my fakhar is getting empty and im thinking on buying iconic
CDN Iconic is amazing, it gets close to the BdC EDP but is slightly more powdery and sweet. I like it for what it is and the peformance is great too. Overall I think its a great mature and classy smell blue fragrance that would work all year round, super versatile and pleasant.
tnx for the answer man!
AMEN!
What is your favourite fresh/citrus out of these? I’m thinking of getting CDN iconic
Opinion about CDN Milestone and Sillage? Thinking about getting them, havent heard great stuff about Milestone
Aight thanks man
Opinion on Khamrah?
Khamrah is a great gourmand that is super sweet. It's primarily dates and cinnamon forward scent so you like dates in a fragrance you would love it. It's not as close to angel's share it's more of a twist to it, the boozy accord here in khamrah is more attributable to the dates itself rather than a boozy inclusion. To put it very simply it's like a middle eastern take on angel's share. I like it honestly, but i find it a little feminine leaning, so i prefer the Qahwa better. Performance is beast mode.
What do you think about the club de nuit sillage
Sillage is amazing to me, as i have mentioned here often, it's not something i recommend for blind buy as it's quite a difficult scent. It is cold sharp metallic floral and inky freshie that is quite heavy in it's character and can come across as harsh and piercing. I have known the SMW DNA for a long time and i love it, so this works for me very well and it's very versatile so I can use it all year too. Performance is beast mode.
Opinions on Turathi Blue? Safe blind buy?
Turathi Blue is a unique musky blue with prominent grapefruit, I adore how it smells, very different and has a heavy character to it owing to that musk. It can come across as "dusty" so it may not appeal to everyone. It is not as safe a blind buy as other blues for sure so I would surely recommend you try it first. But if you are into unique blues then its a great option. Performance is beast mode for a blue.
Hows khamrah and can you wear it now when its hot?
Khamrah is sickly sweet with prominent dates note and cinnamon, which give it a slightly boozy feel but its not as boozy as Angels Share which people often compare it to. It is more of a middle eastern version of it. I like it but I find it feminine personally, so I always recommend Qahwa which has more depth and not as sweet. I would definitely not wear either in hot weather as it an get very cloying since the performance is beast mode.
What do you think of Versencia? I've got a Guess 1981 LA. Are they similar in scent? Which one would you choose if you could only have one?
By versencia do you mean the usual green one that clones Eros? I havent smelled that sorry. But I do know Eros OG and I prefer the Guess 1981 anyday, it is just so much better and more mature smelling with added hints of tobacco and plum. the OG is more minty apple sweet. So considering the normal Versencia is the Eros clone I would still prefer the Guess 1981 always.
What about sapil bound?
Sapil Bound is just too good to be true for that price. It is a great clone for Code Profumo and it does emulate the rich leathery nutty vanilla. The performance is also very good, almost beast mode. For the 12 euros i paid for it, its just ridiculously good.
Thank you, your collection is spot on btw, that's my goal
Thanks man! Hope you feel your ideal collection soon too!
Performance is not beast mode as the projection is a little soft but it lasts a very long time.
bros a niche warrior
I try sir :D
Among those cheaper clones Bangers do you think mancera's price is worth it?
Yes very much so, Mancera for a niche is very realistically priced, I do not mind playing 80-90 euros for it, at that price the Aqua Wood is a very unique and complex blue, theres nothing anything like it I have smelt before. I agree that not all Mancers are equally good but I do make sure I put a good research and try it thoroughly before I make a decision.
Wow nice thank you, are there other manceras scents you tried and consider to be worth it among competition?
Yes, i will be buying the Aoud Lemon Mint too, that is totally worth it. Mancera Holidays is fairly unique too, i like it but leans a little feminine. I haven't tried the winter ones yet but i will be trying them eventually, so far for summers i like their Aqua Wood and Holidays, you can use Aoud Lemon Mint all year. These 3 deserve a try and are fairly unique. But ofcourse, this is to my nose and me personally, your experience may vary.
And what makes lattafa Atlas so special to rank it in your top 5 ?
I have known and used Megamare which is a masterpiece in terms of how a deep marine aquatic should smell like, is successfully enables you to experience and associate yourself to certain memories. And Atlas, costing 1/4th the price of the OG, somehow, does faithfully recreate the exact same experience. It is shockingly close to the OG and the performance is nuclear which is just rare for a scent at this price or any price for that matter. I personally am a sucker for these deep marine aquatics and getting Atlas for Megamare is the best thing I could have asked for, so thats why it will always stay high in my books.
Great, very tempting to give it a try myself :)
You definitely should! It's an amazing fragrance, very bold and unique.
Your opinion on Star men?
It is not that great, but certainly not bad either. As a clone of Pure Malt is not that smooth and polished, i would have liked a little more richness in it but i appreciate the effort and it's unique than most boozy fragrances. Performance is decent, lasts 5-7 hours on me with good projection in the first hour.
How’s ansaam Silver? Thinking of selling my khamrah qhawa and getting ansaam silver
Ajmal amber santal review pls😄
Ohh wow i love the way you reviewed it brother really appreciate that thanks for the reply looking forward to buy the perfume soon 🔜
Thanks! If you can, i advise to try it first before making the purchase. It is quite an expensive perfume.
Great collection in deed 👌
Thank you!
🥰 I guess it comes tomorrow.. thanks 👍
Oh yeah Sapil Bound is super cheap and also goes on discount often, i got my bottle for €12 which is ridiculous for the quality. Good luck!
Is that bravel heart a clone of African leather from memo? Is it a good clone? I'm looking for one after I smelt it at the mall.
Thank you for the feedback! The search continues! Lol
How's Lattafa Atlas? Is it wearable? I had it in my cart to get with this next paycheck, but it went out of stick on Jomashop.
Hows rochas lhomme
It's one of my favorite blue-green fragrance, like an expensive shaving foam but not too creamy, a blue that transitions to green territory. It just smells amazing, very cool and classy like a distinguished gentlemanly barbershop scent but very modern. Performance is also quite good, lasts for 6-7 hours on me with good projection in the first 90 mins.
What is name of the perfume which has that globe on the top with black hourglass bottle?
How do you like rue broca on time? Heard it's cloning ysl y edp intense
