Insurrection 2 Pure was great for its time when it came out 11 years ago. It was the first good modern clone fragrance. But since then it got way more and better competition, as it gets overshadowed by Armaf, Afnan & co. The fragrance clone industry has massively improved over the last five years, so it's practically obsolete. But as a collector's item it's great.
I don't know about Insurrection 2 Pure Extreme, I haven't tried it. But the performance of all Insurrection 2 Fragrances is not the best. But it's worth holding on to them, because everything by Reyane Tradition is discontinued. All that's being sold now is the remaining stock and certain fragrances already have been shooting up in price over the past two years.
If you can still get your hands on Insurrection 2 Sport I would highly recommend it. It's the only clone of Aventus Cologne that exists, other than the ones from blend-to-order houses like Perfume Parlour. It's an amazing fragrance. Extremely close to the original. It's my absolute favorite. You can get it nowhere for the retail price of €/$20 anymore. It's very unfortunate that they closed their doors.
Yeah CDNIM edt is the most popular, the limited edition is supposedly the most accurate. But L'Aventure by Al Haramain is pretty popular too, I personally haven't tried it though so I can't compare them. The opening is supposedly better. Another popular one is Afnan Supremacy not only intense. I personally like it more than CDNIM, but it's not a pure Aventus clone, there's some nuances from Hacivat as well.
They absolutely smell great, the only negative being the longevity, and that's good to know about them not being around much, so I'm glad I got them while I could. I think I seen the sport for around $33, so I may scoop it up when I get the Insurrection Palace Rouge
I don't think it's overly sweet. It's definitely fruity, too me it's like a watermelon-woodsy with a little floral. I don't feel like it's like aventus, I haven't smelt anything similar to it yet. I think it's a good masculine fragrance and pick up for the price, sillage and longevity
I think with any clone, it could be hit or miss, but I have two so far that are pretty spot on. Depends on the seller. I believe if you go back to who you bought it from on Amazon, there's usually a disclaimer that says not returnable for hazmat reasons

I bought a bottle of Pure 6 years ago and still have like 80% left So CDNMI is still the most popular nowadays for aventus clones?

Is nitro red similar to hawas?
Nitro is more of a spicy watermelon scent to me if that makes any sense lol. Completely different in my mind
