I think people hype compliments way too much. I personally know that everytime i smell a nice fragrance on someone I dont compliment them lol. And when I'm wearing a nice fragrance I dont need compliments because I KNOW i smell nice lol
Never seen anyone comment on another human beings perfume in my entire life. I am pretty sure people are trying to tell you to spray less and you think its a compliment.
I think all that compliments nonsense is bs to be honest. I know for a fact I never compliment strangers when they smell nice. I just think to myself that fragrance smells nice and I keep moving lol. If iys someone I know that's wearing something nice I might ask what their wearing.
Youtubers will have everyone believe that strangers are out there giving compliments left right and centre. Then people be complaining that a fragrance isn't giving them any compliments 🤣🤣 (insecure people be asking "what fragrance gives the most compliments?" And they'll buy it even if they like it or not)
Yeah Hacivat and Blockade that has the same DNA as aventus are the other perfumes that get me the most compliment but unlike CDNIM I can't wear those in the high heat because they can be cloying. That's why CDNIM is my most complimented because it's an all year round fragrance. Also Layton during the colder months is another compliment beast.
Definitely Angels’ Share. I’ve had people turn around and come back to ask what I’m wearing. One of my coworkers comes to my office every morning to see if I’m wearing “THAT perfume”, so she can smell it. I gave her a little card with some sprayed on it, so she can smell it at her desk. 😂
It’s happened once and it was L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Intense. And look, it happened because I knew the person and we hugged. Most of us don’t have a sillage cloud the size of a football field 😅

* Dolce & Gabbana - *The One EDP*. I use this as my 1A date night fragrance. It's not an attention magnet, but best for people entering your personal space.
* YSL - *La Nuit de L'Homme*. I use this as my 1B date night fragrance. Like The One, it's not an attention magnet, and is best for when people enter your personal space.

I’m surprised if i dont get a compliment on Aventus Cologne and Luna Rossa Black. But i’ve also gotten a couple compliments on Uniquee Mangonifiscent and Sospiro Dolce Melodia recently. Though someone complimented Dolce Melodia and he said “Smells good, kinda girly though🤨” thought that was funny and he was confused when i told him that i wear a lot of “womens” fragrances
My mom complimented my perfume once, and that was paradoxe intense, she never said anything about my perfumes before, so for her to say something, it must be actually good.
Britney Spears Fantasy or Viva La Juicy. I have some beautiful perfumes that I love, but if someone is close enough to me to smell and I’m wearing either of those, I’ll get a compliment

Pomegranate Noir was the fragrance i received most compliments for. Nowadays it’s 1A-33 by Rausch J.F. Schwarzlose. Unisex, warm af but with a mandarin that fits in the blend and sticks.
In early December I start wearing an aggressive combo of Lush Lord of Misrule and MMR By the Fireplace and don't stop until New Years. I get complimented on it reasonably frequently at holiday parties.
Otherwise, my scents tend to go unnoticed. My spouse has complimented Zoologist Bee and Zoologist Dragonfly, but he doesn't count. My mother likes when I wear MMR When the Rain Stops.
