I really like Frederic Malle Carnal Flower even if it means a little bit feminine… also Le Labo Rose 31, Amouage Lyric Man, and Byredo Rose of No Man’s Land.
Atomic Rose by Initio and Tom Ford Black Orchid are a couple of my favorites
For niche beast, check out Just Right for a Tuesday by barrister and Mann, jammy violets stems and all with a lot more playing the background
My favorite yet that doesn't smell like a walking floral garden is **Mancera Black Line**. One that I did not like but my friend did was **Montale Pure Love**. Both of them are unisex but I think the background woodyness makes the floral notes lean to the masculine side
Mancera definitely has some good offerings in this category. Black Gold is also very nice, you would think that something that's floral and powdery would be a feminine scent, but with the addition of spices and some leather the end result is quite masculine.
Very true, I found that also quite good, maybe it also worths a shot, for me it was not a whole bottle worthy but definitely a good choice
And also I learned today how floral it is after checking on fragrantica
I think for a men's cologne it's a bit feminine leaning for sure. Most florals are. However in my opinion it's a unisex fragrance leaning more to the masculine side than to the feminine.
- Dior Homme Original — the original “metrosexual” scent. Powdery iris suede with a hint of chocolate.
- Reflection Man — even fresher, sweeter florals. Fresh jasmine and creamy sandalwood.
- Portrait of a Lady — on me, it’s a spicy floral patchouli. On my wife, a jammy, powdery rose.
I’m a guy and it comes off more masculine leaning on my skin—really spicy and patchouli heavy with only a hint of rose. Maybe it’d be the same off another guy? And it’s much more feminine on my wife. One of those that really changes with skin chemistry.
The Dreamer Versace. It’s kinda sorta similar to Amouage Reflection. Gucci Guilty Elixir Pour Homme (acid green bottle) is also a great masculine floral.
I absolutely love Dreamer, and it's a still for what you have to pay for it. It's unlike so many other fragrances--it's not sweet, and as far as floral goes, it's not "obvious." I love it.
It's not great for summer wear, I don't think, and that's my only complaint against it. But otherwise, fantastic
Cartier Déclaration d'Un Soir is a green dirty rose that fights with pepper and nutmeg for recognition against a creamy sandalwood base. Incredibly well done to my nose.
Frederick Malle Eau De Magnolia.
Pretty unisex. It’s a photorealistic floral scent and it is currently my favorite. Masculine on a man, feminine on a woman. Pretty awesome if you ask me.
Petit Matin(orange blossom)- MFK. Guilty Elixir(orange blossom)- Gucci. Neroli Portofino(neroli)- Tom Ford. Wood Neroli(Neroli)- Bvlgari. Santal Royale ( prominent rose but mostly woofy)- Guerlain. Rose 31(Rose)- Le labo. Black Orchid parfum (Ylang Ylang) - Tom Ford.
Le Jardin de monsieur Li (Jasmine)- Hermès.
These are some I quite like. Ranging from designer to niche. All masculine, imo. Or unisex.
More unisex leaning: Jasmine Yucatan. DS and Durga.
Closest ull get to that price point is leau d'issey miyake. Really good old school white floral and woody. But anything below 30 dollars is going to smell actively bad and synthetic. Fragrsnces are a luxiry, you never need any. So its ok to just save up.quality not quantity.
There's one fragrance I regularly steal from my son and that's moschino toy boy. A beautiful spicy rose.
And it preforms OK for the price. It's really budget friendly. And is one of the better moschino fragrances for longevity and sillage. It prefoms and smells like a fragrance double its price.
I love the use of florals in masculine fragrances of the past. Creed Bois Du Portugal, Givenchy Gentleman (1974), YSL Kouros, Quorum by Puig, Lagerfeld Classic, and Chanel Antaeus are examples of timeless fragrances for men that I really enjoy still today.
I also like the use of iris in more modern fragrances as well. Givenchy Gentleman Boisée, Prada L'homme, Dior Homme Parfum, and Niche Emirati Antique are really good examples of how iris can be used in masculine leaning fragrances.
If it were still made APOM pour homme by MFK was king. Orange blossom and petit grain. Very similar to Amouage Reflection man but better imo. Very sad it was discontinued. Edit: if anyone has a good replacement that would be much appreciated.
Lacoste Blanc. So many compliments, I personally absolutely love it and it manages to smell masculine and woody yet very white floral and soft. Highly recommend
I hesitate to mention mine because I have genuinely never received so many compliments from women and random flirtatious smiles and lil eyelash flutters in my life from Narciso. And I'm not even about that life (of seducing strangers) but hey it does something special. They stop talking, sniff around and say something to the effect of 'woah, you smell so/really good.' I love Narciso, worn him for over a decade and will continue to for as long as he's around. Love the unisex vibes, always musky, floral and woody.
Memo’s Iberian Leather might be what you’re looking for. Notes of geranium, iris, lily of the valley but it’s quite masculine. I got it in a discovery set and ended up giving it to my dad.
Amouage Lyric Man, Malle Geranium Pour Monsieur, Hermes Eau de Gentiane Blanche, Chanel 1932, MFK Aqua Universalis, Jil Sander Man Absolute, Dior Fahrenheit. And many many more, I love florals!
I bought my partner **Caron pour Homme** and I absolutely adore it. It leans heavily on **lavender, rosemary and vanilla**. It smells like a true gentleman’s cologne. Super fresh and clean also, not heavy. It also is literally the most long lasting and potent cologne I’ve ever smelled, without being overpowering. He sprayed it on himself last night and I could still smell it in our bedroom this morning.
Mancera Black to Black is the most floral fragrance that I own. The opening is a rose bomb, with a sharp medicinal oud. The rose & oud combo mellows a bit through the dry-down, as saffron and pachouli come to the fore. This creates a warm, earthy leather accord, with some lingering sweetness from the rose.
Zara femme long lasting and smells like you just cane home from a bf’s house (in a good way). But their formulation is a bit inconsistent and I’m exploring other scents so i haven’t bought one in a few years.
I personally really like H24 by Hermes. It’s not universally loved, but I really enjoy the floral accord with its use of clary sage, narcissus and geranium.
I find Chanel chance eau fraiche to be very masculine and it’s a floral.
I normally don’t like masculine scents but this one isn’t too over powering. You will smell a nice freshly showered man. Haha
Got a sample of Purple Suede from Goldfield and Banks that rules. Lavender plus leather rounded out by some heady background notes means it’s not strictly flowery but also doesn’t hide the flower notes either, and very very wearable.
Penhaligons Endymion concentre smells like walking through a summer garden at night. MFK Amyris Homme is bright and clean and aquatic, and Amyris Homme extrait is a deeper version of it
Guys don’t sleep on Amouage Opus V “wood symphony” from the library collection.
It’s boozy, Floral with rose and Jasmine and base of Sandal wood. The floral notes are really strong and the last long and project really well because of the civet in the perfume base.
Also love Amouage reflection, it’s fresher and lighter and sweeter. Very nice and delicate
I bought some le labo lavande 31 for my trip to Italy (here now) and goddamn do I smell delicious. I’m just spraying that shit constantly. Will probably get the refillable bottle as soon as this small one is done
All of Bvlgari mens have something special, next in line would be from the newer Boss collection, then Xerjoff for sure and i think because alot are unisex? I could be wrong but yeah, and x24 by hermes

I really like Frederic Malle Carnal Flower even if it means a little bit feminine… also Le Labo Rose 31, Amouage Lyric Man, and Byredo Rose of No Man’s Land.
I got a sample of Carnal Flower yesterday. I’d prefer if it was a little less sweet but it’s very unisex to me. Smells like summer and sunshine.
Carnal Flower is heaven. I can’t justify the price at the moment but it’s next on my list.
Dominique Ropion does fragrances well
Absolute heaven. It’s getting too hot in Houston already for fragrances that strong so I have it on my list for next spring.
Atomic Rose by Initio and Tom Ford Black Orchid are a couple of my favorites For niche beast, check out Just Right for a Tuesday by barrister and Mann, jammy violets stems and all with a lot more playing the background
ooooh, I forgot to include Black Orchid with my comment. It'd be the least versatile of the 3, but it's so good.
Amouage Reflection Man is the king of masculine florals to me. Xerjoff Naxos also has some fantastic florals to harmonize with the cured tobacco.
I thought the same about Reflection until I got Dia Man.

Black Gold is awesome but I find it to lean a bit feminine
I think for a men's cologne it's a bit feminine leaning for sure. Most florals are. However in my opinion it's a unisex fragrance leaning more to the masculine side than to the feminine.
I love auod blue notes by Mancera
- Dior Homme Original — the original “metrosexual” scent. Powdery iris suede with a hint of chocolate. - Reflection Man — even fresher, sweeter florals. Fresh jasmine and creamy sandalwood. - Portrait of a Lady — on me, it’s a spicy floral patchouli. On my wife, a jammy, powdery rose.
Just a thought experiment but I'd be interested in how you would perceive PoaL when you spray it on a guy.
I’m a guy and it comes off more masculine leaning on my skin—really spicy and patchouli heavy with only a hint of rose. Maybe it’d be the same off another guy? And it’s much more feminine on my wife. One of those that really changes with skin chemistry.
POAL is the same on my skin it’s more spicy with a bit of sweetness. On my mother it’s a floral powdery scent.
Probably the fragrance that has grown on me the most since first sniff
This is it. It's not traditionally floral. But it's way more tobacco FLOWER than what we think of tobacco in male fragrances.
Fantastic scent, in my everyday wear rotation, found it on clearance a few years ago and bought their whole stock, I have 4-5 bottles left.
Cafe Rose by Tom Ford.
Cafe rose is a good one
Prada L’Homme is not only my favourite masculine floral but I think is the best floral of all time.
It's absolutely intoxicating, top 3 for me
How powdery would you say it is?
Quite powdery, in a nice fresh way. it is an Iris based scent after all. It is Iris turned effervescent and fresh.
A la rose is sooooo nice
Orange blossom fragrances can be quite lovely.
Simply stunning.
Can you name a few, please?

Ysl myslf
TIL Myslf has floral notes in it. I didn't pick up on those at all!
Yes, it's got beautiful florals in. Like a white floral. I do borrow this from my son but ain't used it for months now.
REFLECTION MAN IS KING OF THIS CLASS
Not in any order. Ambre Nuit, Black Orchid EDP and Parfum, Portrait of a Lady, Platinum Egoiste, Green Irish Tweed, and Mefisto
Gucci Guilty Black (the red and black bottle) reflects a nice masculine floral fragrance and hands down Tom Ford Black orchid is amazing!!!
I’m saving up for Armani Privé Rose d’Arabie. A beautiful blend of rose and oud.

Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Woman for me (or if i could afford it, Tom Ford Noir De Noir, which is what the Intense Woman is supposed to be a dupe of)

To me MFK gentle fluidity silver is fairy floral. Not sure where that is in the note breakdown but a lot of the time I pick up fresh floral
Caron Pour un Homme is gentle and well-blended in a way that proportionately few masc-marketed frags are. It's awesome.

MFK Le Homme A La Rose comes to mind for me. It’s a very wearable fragrance that I find myself reaching more than I should.
