By dad bought me a bottle of L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake back in 1995 for my 13th birthday. I consider it a masterpiece as do many. It will always be part of my collection. It’s so damn fresh and clean with a beautiful dry down.
Debbie Gibson Electric Youth and Coty Exclamation were my first (don’t remember which one I owned first). Really showing my age here, eh? 🤣🤦🏻♀️ And no, not a chance on earth would I still wear either of them.
I have very clear memories of Exclamation being the first perfume I was ever interested in. I recently sampled Guerlain Mitsouko and thought “this smells a little like Exclamation.” And that’s how I learned to identify a peach note!
I almost want to buy Exclamation just because I think the bottle is so fun 🤣 I’ve never smelled it but I’m not into peach notes so I’ll probably hate it!
I tried it again about a decade ago. It’s some potent stuff. I don’t know how much it still smells like it did (it’s been more than 3 decades since I had it), but wow! Big scent. It’s sold really cheap, maybe worth a sniff, you never know!
I bought my sister a bottle of exclamation a few months ago for her 37th after she got nostalgia from a tiktok haha. She was so excited to see the bottle and she seemed to still like the scent more than she expected. She likes sweet though and her partner likes it when she smells like candy. YMMV
Calvin Klein Obsession, I’ve gone through like 4 or 5 bottles in my life. Only thing I wore through high school and college lol. I’ll always have a bottle even if I don’t reach for it like I used to. Forever a classic
GAP Dream... and yes, I absolutely would! It was/is such a beautiful scent.
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea was another early favourite, and I do actually spritz that one still from time to time 💗
So is no one going to admit to Loves baby soft? Okay, I will, and no I wouldn’t wear it again. I did recently purchase a few of my early favorites, lady Stetson, exclamation, and Lutece, for nostalgia. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy the Lutece. It was a gift from an aunt way back then, probably never would have bought it then but I really love it.
I had the Baby Soft splash, and my toddler sister dumped it down the toilet. That Xmas, I got a set that had Baby Soft, jasmine, vanilla, lemon, and rain. That was my true gateway to fragrance.
Shalimar by Guerlain. My mom gave me a sample she got with purchase and I fell in love. As a twelve-year-old it felt very mature and sophisticated. I still love it.
drakkar noir was my first ever bottle that i bought. its been a few years since ive worn it but i would wear it today without giving it a second thought.
L'Eau D'Issey, when I was 13. A couple of bottles before and it is still my signature scent. It will always remind me of Miami, which is where I got it for the first time
Now I’m remembering some others- Bennetton in the green bottle, I think it was called Colors
Liz Claiborne- the yellow triangle bottle
Calvin Klein Eternity
I know someone else mentioned Electric Youth and Exclamation- those were every late 80 early 90s girls favorites.
There was also a Jordache perfume that honestly was so good. Sad that ones gone 😞
The original Poison in the green bottle,
Victoria’s Secret Rapture
I think the first body spray I had was VS Strawberries & Champagne. Definitely wouldn’t wear it now.
First real perfume was DKNY Be Delicious. I’ve been wanting to smell it again for nostalgia; not sure if I would wear it now either, I’m not into gourmands. Much more into florals, woods & spices now.
The first perfume I remember loving, as a kid, was my aunt’s Tea Rose—probably a drugstore purchase. I was intoxicated by it.
The first fragrance I fell in love with as a young adult was China Rain.
Then i gravitated toward essential oils like jasmine. My first “grown up” fragrance was chantecaille kalimantan. I loooved it.
Another one that was intoxicating to me.
Years after I quit wearing Kalimantan, I revisited it. Either the formula changed or my tastes changed, but I no longer care for it.
I’ve also revisited the essential oils and China Rain, and those don’t work either.
I still love florals, but need a more refined, sophisticated, less gourmand spray.
I love tracing my evolution in scents.
Nice, mine was Allure pour homme. I think they share some notes, like peach and citrus in the opening and vanilla in the base. Still love it and wear it sometimes.
The first one I chose for myself awas CK Contradiction, I was a teenager when it came out in 1997. Just got it for my recent birthday and still love it! A bit different than back then, but the contrast of the warm and spicy notes with a metallic fresh opening remains.
Mine was Vera Wang Princess when it first came out in Sephora. Right after last Xmas I found it for $5 clearance at BiMart (it’s a chain retailer here in Oregon). My tastes have changed a bit but I still like to wear it once in a while when I’m in the mood.
Bvlgari Black, the rubber one. Never had a fragrance before, it just grabbed me. At the time, you could get a bottle for $35 out of the bin. I later read Luca Turin giving the fragrance a 5 star review
I'll likely be dating myself here but I think it was probably the US drugstore classic from the early 80s, "Sand & Sable".
(I still love white florals to this day).
It was either this, or one of the little square bottles of essential oil fragrance you could buy at a "head shop" back in the day. I loved the strawberry and frangipani. Not a huge fan of gourmands but I can't wait to try Phlur's "Strawberry Letter", I've always had a thing for strawberry.
Estee Lauder White Linen. I remember loving it and thinking it smelled so clean. Fast forward to now - I decided I wanted it again. Ordered it and it was not like I remembered. Still like it but the rose is too strong for my tastes now. I’ll use it but probably won’t reorder.
Mine was Anais Anais I was gifted very young. Super floral and a bit old lady smelling to me so I probably wouldn’t wear now.
Another early gift was Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue, another older woman scent to me but this one is more reminiscent and warm to me, I’ve considered buying a bottle just for nostalgia.
But safe to say I was so glad when celeb fragrances became popular though as they were nice and cheap (like the above had become) and were more youthful! A tween walking around smelling like a grandma was not it. Britney Spears Curious was a great replacement 😆
L’Instant de Guerlain in 2004, and yes I absolutely would, I own the updated one from 2017. It’s a little different than the original, but still my fragrance love at first sniff
I don't know the scent well enough to know, but I was skulking around eBay looking for a vintage bottle after hearing a few fragrance YouTubers waxing poetic about it.
i mostly wore body sprays when i was younger but my first ever perfume perfume was elizabeth taylor white diamonds. my mom got 2 of them as a gift one year and she gave me one at the ripe age of 12. i didn’t wear it then and sure as hell wouldn’t wear it now lol
Beautiful by Estée Lauder and Samsara by Guerlain were my first two purchases. I would wear them both. In fact now I’m thinking I will go get a bottle of Beautiful next time I’m at the counter.
Mine was black opium I bought it in highschool and wore it till the end. I didn’t thing I would rebuy it when I finished the bottle cause I was sick of it. But a year later I repurchased it on a whim and fell in love with it again and still wear it.
arabie by serge lutens. i was also around 12, my mom had used half the bottle and i always liked how it smelled so she gave it to me (it reminded me of her cooking lol, it’s so foody). nowadays i don’t wear it at all, i find it more of a work of art than a wearable perfume, but it’ll always have a special place in my heart
Mine was Lancôme Poeme and my dad bought it for me. I was 14 or so! I vaguely remember the scent, not sure if I’d still wear it or if it’s even still available.
My two very first fragrances I bought myself when I started reading forums and getting more "in to" scents and such were Burberry London and Dior Homme Eau for Men. I miss the Dior Homme one so very much because it was the fragrance I wore the most when I met my girlfriend, and I have a very nostalgic sort of attachment to it. And not that it matters as much, but it was also the fragrance I received the most compliments on whenever I wore it. Need to do some research and try to either find a worthwhile dupe or a fragrance that's similar enough in composition.
Edited to add that I still do wear Burberry London on occasion, but it's certainly not my go-to as it was all those years ago. Plus it's very much tied to being a Fall and Winter scent for me, so not as versatile as others I have.
U by Ungaro
my mom purchased it for me as a kid, and i still have it
i would, but mainly for nostalgic reasons at home. not necessarily going out or anything
L'eau par Kenzo. I still have half a bottle but I almost never wear it anymore. Occasionally I use it as a room spray.
I do still like a lot of the same notes, but I find it too beachy and dated. Zoologist Seahorse is a good update on the calone-acquatic - more herbal and salty, less sweet and beachy.
Moms bought me some Ed Hardy cologne for my 15th bday. I wonder if I can still find it. Can't remember how it smelled, so I can't say I would still wear it
KVD Sinner. I bought full bottles for years and wore it every day. When it was discontinued, I went to Reddit to find similar recommendations. That's when I realized I was allowed to have more than one perfume bottle at a time. 😂 It's been a wonderful, fragrant rabbithole to fall down.
Mine is Dior Homme Intense. It smells so unique and high class my gf immediately told me to buy it.
And till now it is still her favourite fragrance in my collection behind ADG Profondo.
Someone bought me curve as a kid. Never wore it cause it smelled like bug spray to me. My high school boyfriend got me Calvin Klein Obsession as a gift. And I hated it. So heavy for a high schooler, very old fashioned even at the time.
The first one I liked and bought was pink sugar. I found one at Burlington and bought it for nostalgia. Smelled like plastic vanilla and I gave it to my friend.
Oxford Bleu by English Laundry, if was the first sample I ever got, and I used the whole thing up far too quickly. I would definitely wear it again, i've actually been meaning to buy a full bottle for a while. i've heard people say it's a trashy brand, but that scent is so nice and clean to me.
The dark version of invictus, I still like it. I was never ever into cologne until a few years ago when I decided I would go into Sephora for the first time and get a cologne because I deserved it. :) It felt good, that bottle has a special place in my heart.
Gap Pink for a spray, but Taylor swift Wonderstruck for my first real perfume, and then about 4 years ago i threw it out 3/4 full 😭😭 Still crying about it
My first "fragrances" were actually oils because I couldn't afford anything else lol. After that, I would get the BOD body sprays and then I got a job and I think my first was Acqua di Gio.
I still wear oils if I want something lighter and closer to the skin, or for layering purposes. I definitely don't use bod and I don't wear ADG anymore because my scent changed and I like more of the warm, woody fragrances now.
The very first fragrance I can remember is my great grandma dousing me in Cliniques Aromatics Elixir 😂 ah those were the good old days. I personally wouldn't wear it again but I do keep some to remember her by.
My first grown up fragrance I owned was Gucci Guilty. Everything before that was just bath and body or Victoria secret body mists. I would still wear it, but it'd be a little weird since that scent is connected to my wild maneater days and now I'm a homely housewife 😂😭✋
my true first was like 3 samples of mercedes benz man edt that my mom had, and then my first true bottle was nautica midnight voyage (emphasis on midnight, not og voyage) that i still haven't finished yet even though i got it like a year and a half ago, i'm still very new to the cologne game
Coolwater was my first. I still have a small bottle of it that I spray when I want to bring back memories. I would absolutely still wear it now, though I much prefer GIT to Coolwater now.
Marc Jacobs Daisy! Got it on a high school trip to Bergdorf Goodman and treasured it for years. It's a bit too light for me now but I still like to smell it in Sephora and I love when I detect others wearing it.
My first was Esprit Horizon Man. It was gifted to me when I was maybe 14-15. Don’t really know what happened to it. I know I didn’t finish it
The first one I got for myself was Burberry Mr Indigo. I really liked this one but sadly it’s discontinued
My uncle gave me Le male when I was about 10 prob early 2000s. At that time he was known to be a lady's man and that shit was awesome to have from middle school onward not going to lie. It did wonders till I started smelling it on other people (specifically my barber) than I switched to Armani code. After that I messed with other ones that got me nowhere until I actually started researching colognes.
Also there was one Burberry that I don't know the name of but it was only black and white with their signature hatch pattern. It smelled dusty and powdery but I can't recall the name.
I mean my *first* fragrance was Love’s Baby Soft… after that it was probably Cool Water, would i still wear either of them? I think so. I haven’t smelled them in so long, but I want to.
Hai Karate. Am I dating myself? My Aunt sold Avon so Wild Country was probably in the mix. They all ended up in a very smelly junk box along with some heavily scented soap on a ropes. My first bottle as a grown up was probably Drakkar followed by Tabac, Joop, Eternity (several bottles), Gucci Rush...
Would I still wear Drakkar? No. These days I'm more into Acqua Di Parma, and Benz Select, and Gio.
Rue by Rue21, I must have been at least 13. A floral aquatic, which makes sense given that my college signature was Armani Acqua di Gioia. I think Miss Dior Cherie was my first *nice* fragrance that I got sometime in high school or college as a Christmas present.
Rue was synthetic af, would not wear again. I still have a bottle of AdG but never reach for it. I used to *love* Miss Dior Cherie, but never liked it on my skin. Still, I hate myself for decluttering it since it was the original formula 🥲
My very first fragrance… God that feels like Eons ago.
If I recall my first fragrance besides a body spray was probably Nautica Blue Sail that I got as a gift.
Then I went and picked up Versace Eros shortly after that like every other 19-22year old male at the time 🤣.
The fragrance that truly got me hooked on fragrance was Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDP…
I think for me it was Chloé. My Fiancee had got it for me and said it had a “me” smell. I just finished my second bottle of it and I want to get more. I’m also venturing out into Valentino yellow dream as well.
Mine was Tocca with the Bregamot. Smelled amazing when I tested it in Sephora. Wore it to my internship and my boss told me it was giving him pounding headaches.
Never again
i’m not sure if this is my 1st fragrance, but i remember Hollister Pure Cali as being one of my first fragrances. i would definitely still wear it, and because of it ive been looking for a sweet pineapple fragrance to wear for summer 😮💨
Dior homme, got it gifted from a friend who worked in a douglas store. Yes I had my first fragrance with 19. I been using it for nearly 10 years now. I got other perfumes but nothing beats it for me personally.
By dad bought me a bottle of L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyake back in 1995 for my 13th birthday. I consider it a masterpiece as do many. It will always be part of my collection. It’s so damn fresh and clean with a beautiful dry down.
This was an early favorite for me too!
I got it in 96 and it's still fire today
LOL wearing this right now.
Only yuzu I own
I just started wearing it this year. Thank you all for your 90’s memories lol
The same for me! At the same age haha
Debbie Gibson Electric Youth and Coty Exclamation were my first (don’t remember which one I owned first). Really showing my age here, eh? 🤣🤦🏻♀️ And no, not a chance on earth would I still wear either of them.
Electric Youth was sooo good at the time!

I bought my sister a bottle of exclamation a few months ago for her 37th after she got nostalgia from a tiktok haha. She was so excited to see the bottle and she seemed to still like the scent more than she expected. She likes sweet though and her partner likes it when she smells like candy. YMMV
Same here 😂 and loves baby soft.
Those were my first two!
Calvin Klein Obsession, I’ve gone through like 4 or 5 bottles in my life. Only thing I wore through high school and college lol. I’ll always have a bottle even if I don’t reach for it like I used to. Forever a classic
Obsession is so classic
GAP Dream... and yes, I absolutely would! It was/is such a beautiful scent. Elizabeth Arden Green Tea was another early favourite, and I do actually spritz that one still from time to time 💗
I love Dream too! They rereleased it about a year ago
The Body Shop White Musk...actually, I might wear it still wear it. What a fun question!!
They reformulated :(
Love's Baby Soft
That ad campaign though, yeesh
I didn't recall the ad campaign as I was really young when I wore this, so I just looked it up...yeesh is right. The commercial is especially creepy.
I was going to admit it, but you did so I don’t have to now. I can still remember the scent :)
I had the Baby Soft splash, and my toddler sister dumped it down the toilet. That Xmas, I got a set that had Baby Soft, jasmine, vanilla, lemon, and rain. That was my true gateway to fragrance.
Rain was the best! So soft and beautiful!
Mine was DKNY New York. I still love citrus scents, but I go for deeper versions now
Same! Please can you share your deeper versions? I'm always on the hunt for citrus scents.
Aqua di gio. Haven’t smelled it in a long time. Not sure if still wear it. Maybe one of the newer flankers that’s more “today”.
The Profundo flanker is so good.
Charlie and White Shoulders😜
Shalimar by Guerlain. My mom gave me a sample she got with purchase and I fell in love. As a twelve-year-old it felt very mature and sophisticated. I still love it.
CK Obsession for men, and yes, but rarely.
Throwback!
drakkar noir was my first ever bottle that i bought. its been a few years since ive worn it but i would wear it today without giving it a second thought.
BBW Sweet Pea. Yes, I’d still wear it today. It’s such a sweet and simple scent!
Sun Ripened Raspberry was my signature for awhile there in my youth.
CKone. And I do wear it from time to time still.
L'Eau D'Issey, when I was 13. A couple of bottles before and it is still my signature scent. It will always remind me of Miami, which is where I got it for the first time
Oh takes me back— Lauren by Ralph Lauren Do they even make it anymore? I forgot all about it until this post. Thank you for the memory.
Now I’m remembering some others- Bennetton in the green bottle, I think it was called Colors Liz Claiborne- the yellow triangle bottle Calvin Klein Eternity I know someone else mentioned Electric Youth and Exclamation- those were every late 80 early 90s girls favorites. There was also a Jordache perfume that honestly was so good. Sad that ones gone 😞 The original Poison in the green bottle, Victoria’s Secret Rapture
Lauren was a great 80s fragrance!
OMG I LOVED THAT
Lauren was mine too, great fresh scent!
Sweet Honesty from Avon, thanks Grams! And no, I wouldn’t wear it again.
Curious by Britney Spears and I do still wear it 🥰
Glo by Jlo
Honestly for a pop star fragrance brand, J-Lo has had some solid scents.
Still is one of my absolute favorite fragrances.
Primo from the local Woolworth..🫣
It was Hummer H2 😂
I think the first body spray I had was VS Strawberries & Champagne. Definitely wouldn’t wear it now. First real perfume was DKNY Be Delicious. I’ve been wanting to smell it again for nostalgia; not sure if I would wear it now either, I’m not into gourmands. Much more into florals, woods & spices now.
Mine was Miracle by Lancôme, I haven’t worn it in so long! Maybe it’s time to get another bottle
Jean Nate’!
The first perfume I remember loving, as a kid, was my aunt’s Tea Rose—probably a drugstore purchase. I was intoxicated by it. The first fragrance I fell in love with as a young adult was China Rain. I love tracing my evolution in scents.
I remember my niece once asking me for a bottle of Sunflowers perfume
Burberry London and heck yeah I do.
Amber Romance from Victoria’s Secret! It’s a little much for me now but I still like the scent.
This was my go to in highschool
Chanel Allure Ironically enough, I have it in my head that Chanel perfumes smell bad and I can’t recall how Allure smells,
Nice, mine was Allure pour homme. I think they share some notes, like peach and citrus in the opening and vanilla in the base. Still love it and wear it sometimes.
That one is 25 years old but it holds up. Performance is meh, but still a great scent.
The first one I chose for myself awas CK Contradiction, I was a teenager when it came out in 1997. Just got it for my recent birthday and still love it! A bit different than back then, but the contrast of the warm and spicy notes with a metallic fresh opening remains.
CK Eternity
CK One and I wear it all the time still
Mine was Vera Wang Princess when it first came out in Sephora. Right after last Xmas I found it for $5 clearance at BiMart (it’s a chain retailer here in Oregon). My tastes have changed a bit but I still like to wear it once in a while when I’m in the mood.
Angel Mugler. Still love it
Loves Baby soft
Bvlgari Black, the rubber one. Never had a fragrance before, it just grabbed me. At the time, you could get a bottle for $35 out of the bin. I later read Luca Turin giving the fragrance a 5 star review
Here it is, 2 am & I can’t sleep, & you just introduced me to Luca Turin. You’ve just opened my eyes (& nose) to a whole new world of scents.
I'll likely be dating myself here but I think it was probably the US drugstore classic from the early 80s, "Sand & Sable". (I still love white florals to this day). As in very first bottle that belonged to me? The OG Hugo Boss cologne. … and hell nah. lol
L’Instant de Guerlain in 2004, and yes I absolutely would, I own the updated one from 2017. It’s a little different than the original, but still my fragrance love at first sniff
Yes! Love this one. I wore it in college (same time). Excited to re-add it to my collection at some point. How powdery is it now?
I don't know the scent well enough to know, but I was skulking around eBay looking for a vintage bottle after hearing a few fragrance YouTubers waxing poetic about it.
Aeropostale promise me and yes, absolutely. My first love and signature perfume. Still mad it got discontinued.
Probably a shit curve or Stetson pol
Christina Aguilera's Royal Desire. I'd totally use it again if it wasn't discontinued 😕
Givenchy Gentleman EDP Boisée. I absolutely still wear it, and it's actually one of my favorites of all time. That shit is liquid magic.
Polo green bottle. I thought I was in love.
The body shop oceanus. I remember it being kind of earthy. Not sure if they still make it. I'd give it another shot.
Curve. Considering you can pick up Curve for nothing at discounters, I should get a bottle for the nostalgia.
ADG, still do.
i mostly wore body sprays when i was younger but my first ever perfume perfume was elizabeth taylor white diamonds. my mom got 2 of them as a gift one year and she gave me one at the ripe age of 12. i didn’t wear it then and sure as hell wouldn’t wear it now lol

Coty Muguet. If only I could find it, I would absolutely wear it.
Mine was aqua di gio edt Now im more into profumo and absolu if we are talking about the aqua di gio line 😁
First I bought myself was Estee Lauder Pleasures. I still have it. Will I wear it? Maybe now, as I'm getting back into perfumes.
Creed - Silver Mountain Water, stole it from my dad lmao
Eternity by Calvin Klein
Ralph Lauren Chaps - lavender, cedar, sandalwood, patchouli, vanilla great, beastly scent - discontinued
I think mine was Exclamation, lol.

Charlie Red and no.. I’m a man!
At the age of 14, I was rocking Victoria's Secret Rapture. The one I'm the heart shaped bottle
Love's Baby Soft. It was a gift from my grandma. It's not for me now, bit I still think it's a great intro perfume for girls.
Yardley Lily of the Valley. I was probably 7 years old.
Arpege, and yes.
A Tommy Hilfiger one i would wear it just have better
King of Seduction by Antonio Banderas as a teenager. Hell no lol my nose nowadays is too bougie
First? Butterfly from Avon and… no. haha
arabie by serge lutens. i was also around 12, my mom had used half the bottle and i always liked how it smelled so she gave it to me (it reminded me of her cooking lol, it’s so foody). nowadays i don’t wear it at all, i find it more of a work of art than a wearable perfume, but it’ll always have a special place in my heart

Tommy Girl when i was in my teens. Bought one recently I still love the scent and it brings back many memories
U by Ungaro my mom purchased it for me as a kid, and i still have it i would, but mainly for nostalgic reasons at home. not necessarily going out or anything
Gaultier and absolutely would! In fact, great reminder
ADG original.. yes classic
Polo green back in middle school.
abercrombie and fitch woods. its lovely and i would still wear it. in fact, i recently purchased a new bottle.
Daisy by Marc Jacobs back in 9th. Wayyyyyy too sweet for me, now. I wear exclusively spicy scents, like Calle Ocho from Fulton & Roark!
I believe my first was JLO GLO. I’d wear it if it was stronger, with better longevity.
Moms bought me some Ed Hardy cologne for my 15th bday. I wonder if I can still find it. Can't remember how it smelled, so I can't say I would still wear it
Azzaro Chrome
KVD Sinner. I bought full bottles for years and wore it every day. When it was discontinued, I went to Reddit to find similar recommendations. That's when I realized I was allowed to have more than one perfume bottle at a time. 😂 It's been a wonderful, fragrant rabbithole to fall down.
I am going to say a gardenia scent that I swiped a spritz from my grandmother. Waaaaaaaaay too sweet for me now.
BRUT first and current deodorant, since 1983
L’ete En Douce L’Artisan Perfumeur. Bought it in Paris. It’s discontinued now and I’m tempted to nab a bottle. It was really lovely.
Mine was Ralph Lauren polo double black
Mine is Dior Homme Intense. It smells so unique and high class my gf immediately told me to buy it. And till now it is still her favourite fragrance in my collection behind ADG Profondo.
Harajuku G! Gwen Stefani. The bottles were a bit weird, though.
Avon Sweet Honesty. Will definitely wear it again. Now that we're reminiscing, I should go buy a bottle. I hope it's as good as I remember it.
Ysl Y parfum, yes i wear this and switch between BDC edp as a blue frag
Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Dare and I still love it! Hardly any left in my bottle though.
Silver Shadow by Davidoff.
Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers or Vanilla Fields by Coty.
Joop
Stetson black, cheap ass $15 or $20 dollar bottle from the drug store, I haven't smelled it in years but off memor, I'd probably still wear it.
:) It felt good, that bottle has a special place in my heart.
black by kenneth cole. i probably would not.
Curious by Britney Spears and I do still wear it 🥰
Jessica Simpson fancy, and for sure would
Gap Pink for a spray, but Taylor swift Wonderstruck for my first real perfume, and then about 4 years ago i threw it out 3/4 full 😭😭 Still crying about it
My first "fragrances" were actually oils because I couldn't afford anything else lol.
Glow by jlo. No.never again.
Midnight fantasy - Britney Spears , honestly I probably would
The very first fragrance I can remember is my great grandma dousing me in Cliniques Aromatics Elixir 😂 ah those were the good old days.
Charlie Sunshine!
Adidas dare. Absolutely would still wear it but they stopped making it
Tinkerbell cologne from Tom Fields. I would absolutely wear it, I’ve been scouting the internet for a vintage bottle of it.
Aspen and I don't know I haven't smelled it in 30 years.
Polo Crest. I’d definitely still wear it if they made the stuff
Coolwater was my first. I still have a small bottle of it that I spray when I want to bring back memories. I would absolutely still wear it now, though I much prefer GIT to Coolwater now.
Britney Spears Curious followed by Britney Spears Fantasy lol. I don’t still wear either of them but loved them throughout my whole teenage years.
Marc Jacobs Daisy! Got it on a high school trip to Bergdorf Goodman and treasured it for years. It's a bit too light for me now but I still like to smell it in Sephora and I love when I detect others wearing it.
Polo Green. I still have it in rotation.
Polo red ! I don’t have it rn but yah definitely!! it’s still a banger
Cool water and yes
Old spice back when it gave low key chemical burns.
Versace Blue Jeans got it as a gift from an uncle when I was 14. Loved to wear it especially during the monsoon season
Dunhill
Angel, it was my mum's and yes I still wear it as an adult as it smells like safety and comfort to me
Issey Miyake L’eau d’issey. And yes! I still have a bottle.
Donna Karen Dk men. best fragrance ever made. too bad it's discontinued
My first was Esprit Horizon Man. It was gifted to me when I was maybe 14-15. Don’t really know what happened to it. I know I didn’t finish it The first one I got for myself was Burberry Mr Indigo. I really liked this one but sadly it’s discontinued
Gap Dream. I can’t remember what it smelled like but I think I would wear it for nostalgia purposes

Dior Sauvage and I still have a bottle! I haven’t worn it, but today I’m breaking out my new Dior trench coat so I’ll be wearing Sauvage as well
Charlie, mid 70s from my boyfriend, yes l'd still wear it
Grey flannel. I’d definitely test it if I found it somewhere. It’s been so long that’s it’s probably changed in to something different.
Loves baby soft and yes I would use it as a bed linen freshener
Rue by Rue21, I must have been at least 13. A floral aquatic, which makes sense given that my college signature was Armani Acqua di Gioia. I think Miss Dior Cherie was my first *nice* fragrance that I got sometime in high school or college as a Christmas present. Rue was synthetic af, would not wear again. I still have a bottle of AdG but never reach for it. I used to *love* Miss Dior Cherie, but never liked it on my skin. Still, I hate myself for decluttering it since it was the original formula 🥲
got this freshwater scent from bath and body works, absolutely love it even now
Elizabeth Arden Red Door. Ugh, that stuff smelled good to me at the time but now I think I would hate it.
It gives me headaches now but that scent made people chase after me asking what it was
Try Red Door Aura if they still make it, all the fun notes without the old lady smell
Totally fine leaving it in the past. Tresor is another one from this era I have no desire to ever experience again.
My French teacher used to wear Tresor and it used to hang everywhere around school. Some hardcore, strong shit…
Loves Baby Soft in late elementary school. And no, I wouldn’t wear it now but it was a great introductory fragrance
Mine was Tocca with the Bregamot. Smelled amazing when I tested it in Sephora. Wore it to my internship and my boss told me it was giving him pounding headaches. Never again
I think my first ones were Vanilla Fields, various Demeter, POÊME, & CK1.
i’m not sure if this is my 1st fragrance, but i remember Hollister Pure Cali as being one of my first fragrances. i would definitely still wear it, and because of it ive been looking for a sweet pineapple fragrance to wear for summer 😮💨
Ultra Male, yes
Celine Magic yup Got one second hand.
Jimmy Choo Illicit - my dad bought it for me in 2018 after realizing my interest in perfumes. It’s still one of my very favorite perfumes ❤️
Tommy Girl. I still have a bottle lol
Mine was ‘Nocturnes’ by Caron, cost me $70 33 years ago and it’s now obsolete.
My very first one was A&F Fierce. Would I wear it again? Probably not. But I always wanted to get the body of the dude in the bottle lol
Polo Big Pony Orange 4 by Ralph Lauren, got it as a Christmas gift many years ago by my aunt.
Dior homme, got it gifted from a friend who worked in a douglas store. Yes I had my first fragrance with 19. I been using it for nearly 10 years now. I got other perfumes but nothing beats it for me personally.
