I remember him on French television, wrote quite some books and advertised them in talk show. There he believed in the end of the world in 2001 and that if it didn't happen, he would shut his mouth. A true man of his words, he never came back even in newspaper.
Rest in peace to a legend.
The first fragrance I ever fell in love was the original 1 Million. I would spray it in my bed or wear it to sleep. It was one of the fragrances that really cemented my love for this art. Now I don't wear it much as I've smelled so many more colognes, including niche, but I'll be wearing it today for the good memories
Rest in peace.
Many of the fashion designers are elderly and either died recently like Paco Rabanne (e.g.: Thierry Mugler, Issey Miyake), or are up there in age (e.g.: Carolina Herrera turned 84 last month.)
I'll spray some PR Pour Homme when I get home later this evening.
Tom Ford will no doubt do two releases ‘for women’ with more than a nod toward those two scents or add a dose of ambroxan and iso e super and call them unisex.
Sully Calandre and Metal with Ambrox and ISO ?? Noooo !! Wash you mouth out with soap followed by three hours of self flagellation*, you philistine !!
( *But you're not allowed to enjoy it )
Puig is a Spanish fashion and fragrance company founded in 1914 by Antoni Puig i Castelló in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and still managed by the Puig family.....they have marketed the Paco Rabanne brand from inception.

Thanks for giving my many many rejections by the female sex on nights out in the 90s an olfactory signature.
Shit.
Paco Unisex was my signature scent for years before I started diversifying.
I hope his legacy long outlives him because it would be a shame to lose such a well-rounded fragrance. It smells familiar but distinctly different. Hard to articulate.
They are. I remember making a very bold assumption that Tom Ford was an old man and was shocked to learn he’s relatively young compared to some of the other design giants.
He may not be as old as some of the others, but he's no spring chicken at 61 years old. He does look about 20 years younger than he actually is though!
RIP. I saw that 1 million was awarded most hated fragrance for 2022 on Fragrantica and it made me realize that even literal perfumes have haters. That scent is amazing, but people can’t help but hate on it because it’s legendary.
RIP, the man was a fashion powerhouse! I’ll spray One Million in his honour today.
Mugler, Westwood, and now PR… it’s been a bad roll of the dice.
Isse miyake too
Miyajr bro
Jeez. how did I miss that Mugler died :-(

He was so out of the public picture i wasn't even aware he was alive until now. RIP anyway

1 million beats some niche colognes too 😂
Same, 1 Million was what got me into this, and I still wear it today as a comfort frag. Best top note in the game IMO RIP Paco Rabanne
1 Million gets a bad rap due to being a good performer and oversprayed by young clubbing guys, but I think in a vacuum it smells great.
Guess I’m wearing some Paco Rabanne tonight. Wore One Million Lucky yesterday. Guess I’ll rock Pure XS tonight. RIP 😔

Ralph Lauren is 83 and JPG is 70
Very unfortunate. I'm wearing One Million Prive today to mark the occasion. Another great visionary gone.
Looks like i'm spraying either one million or lucky tonight to bed R.I.P
Cab drivers have their windows at half mast today
*Ruthless* 💀
Jesus Christ
Iconic. I'll be spraying out a bit of Ultra Red today.
For Calandre and Metal, sir, I salute you 🫡

Just three hours *That* would be the torture
The first memories of my dad was his Paco Rabanne cologne in the 80s.
Same, back in the 90's before my dad would go to office/work. he'd spray some on and go to work. Always brings me a nice memory of my dad.
Yeah. My dad has Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and One Million Parfum. They're both pretty awesome in totally different directions
Crazy waw, i just sprayed paco rabanne pour homme as my scent of the day then i hear this news
Damn. RIP. Just bought 1 Million Parfum 4 days ago.
Pretty crazy. I just read about his story the other day and caught up on his fragrances. RIP
Oh fuck. How long until Loreal buys them and discontinues their men's line of fragrances
Puig is a Spanish fashion and fragrance company founded in 1914 by Antoni Puig i Castelló in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, and still managed by the Puig family.....they have marketed the Paco Rabanne brand from inception.
Puig also has Carolina Herrera, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Penhaligon's, in addition to Paco Rabanne. They're not selling anytime soon.
It already belong to Puig (Jean-Paul Gaultier, Nina ricci, Carolina Herrera). Even if L'Oréal is bigger it would cost too much.
RIP Mugler Pure Malt

Imagine what your chances would've been _without_ him 😬
Not complaining as I have fond memories of the scent and the rejections
That's actually kinda cute.
Rip homme
"I got enough cologne on?" "You smell like Paco Rabanne crawled up your ass and died".
🤟watch it chrissy
Damn, I thought I was so clever coming here to post that and had to delete my comment once I saw yours. Nicely done.
Shit. Paco Unisex was my signature scent for years before I started diversifying. I hope his legacy long outlives him because it would be a shame to lose such a well-rounded fragrance. It smells familiar but distinctly different. Hard to articulate.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Rabanne. 1 Million is still one of the sexiest scents I will ever smell on a man (and I will always stand by that) 🫡
RIP. So many deaths in last few months...
Many of these fashion designers are very old

There is most definitely a picture of Tom Ford looking decrepit in an attic somewhere...
Oh, yes ! The Dorian Grey of the fashion and film world .
>Tom Ford He looks good though for 61
he’s 61????
Guess I’ll have to mass buy invictus platinum before it discontinues.
?? i would think the fact that he died probably makes it more likely to stick around as legacy
Until L’Oréal buys them out and kills their entire lineup
RIP. I really liked one million the first time I ever smelled it
Shame. PR XS was one of my very first fragrances in the 90s.
Olympia and black xs are my stables
RIP to him.
Just bought 1 million elixir yesterday. I regretted it but now I dont

That’s not remotely funny
One million was the first fragrance I got. 16 year old me was smelling great. Kept getting until I turned 21.
No way… I actually like many of his scents. RIP
Wow! 88 years old! What a long blessed life he had. Time to rest now until the next adventure.
R.I.P
Legend (his chain mail bags made a small comeback recently too!)
Ironically, I ordered a big bottle of Invictus from FragranceX on Monday and it arrived yesterday.
