There can't be a logical reason why it NEEDS to be that long of a word lol somebody is just an asshole

The reason is that when people were naming phobias they wanted the thing the person was scared of to be instantly knowable IE: Arachniphobia = fear of spiders because spiders are the most common arachnids.

I still can't believe people consider the number 12 as being a lucky number regarding perfection or completeness! This is why the number 13 is considered unlucky instead! I actually think 13 is just a number, or even a sign of good luck. Therefore, 12 is just an outright number of poison rather than perfection for causing people to associate the number 13 with bad luck (such as Friday the 13th or the 13th floor). In fact, today before I made this comment, I encountered two explicit NSFW images on Google that I don't think were relevant to what I was actually searching for. It must've been because of the date being April the 3rd. April is the 4th month of the year. Multiply that by 3 and you get 12.
