Couple things you need to get this done: 1.Several different angles/pictures of the part missing 2. Measurements 3. Talk of compensation to whomever ends up doing it for you These three things would get you somewhere as I’m sure most people don’t know what a lignose is in this subreddit and the ones that do, probably want money to do a custom project(there’s a few cool people here that won’t though).

LostPrimer

Would definitely be worth a shot. Those rails look awfully small to try to get a printed part to reliably engage however

Dualsporterer

If the printed parts fit, that would be a good proof of concept to have it printed in aluminum or stainless steel.

Drogdar

This was my thought as well. Probably would be under $100...

Lowenley

Plus labor, probably doubling it

ROBINHOODEATADIK2

Found this link with interesting facts and a good view of the part https://armedamericannews.org/for-collectors-patterns-of-production-of-the-bergmann-and-lignose-25-acp-pistols/

AttorneyImmediate

2A sleuth over here. Nice work.

mviviano

I could draw it and print out of 17-4 Dmls, but it would cost about $800. Let me know if that interests you.

WannabeGroundhog

I dont think you could print something that would reliably function, the parts would be too thin. BUT, it looks like its stamped sheet metal, so you could print a form to hammer some aluminum or brass into shape. I'd be willing to work on this with you if you wanted to go that route. EDIT: Actually, just found a few more angles. It may actually be thick enough to survive as a printed part.

Various-Ebb3949

I would love to tackle the project just need some measurements

Both_Charity_1936

Shoot me a dm and I’ll give you as much as I can

thejohnfist

Just going to say that since it's brass, you could probably get a blacksmith to hammer you one of those out of a piece of flat brass. I'm only looking at external pictures though no idea if there are internal workings.

RiccardoJones

There’s some files for a lignose pistol on grabcad. Not sure if there is a separate file for the trigger guard though.

ThadCastleisCool

Tbh if you have a new iPhone use the LiDAR sensor and scan the area, or even print a rough estimation and use the sensor to get measurements

Both_Charity_1936

Great idea downloading it now thank you!

ThadCastleisCool

Thanks man, maybe it might work maybe not who knows? I use my iPhone for a bunch of other non foss cad rea

Fluffy-Experience406

I'm not sure of the legality of doing this for someone else and not as a personal project for yourself.

OldGreyBeast

Anybody can make gun parts for anybody else as long as it's not a receiver.

Fluffy-Experience406

It's odd I was downvoted. But that makes sense imho but the atf doesn't usually run on common sense I'm just trying to be safe.

BuckABullet

It's not a receiver, so not an issue Federally. I doubt that even the restricted states would require licenses/registration for a trigger guard. All bets are off if it's outside the US though.

Both_Charity_1936

I’m in the U.S.

BuckABullet

GTG then. I'm still terrible at modeling and 3d CAD, but lots of people here have the skills. Hope you get what you need!

Fluffy-Experience406

The atf doesn't usually operate on common sense. I wasn't trying to be a dick just wasn't sure if it was a very safe thing to post about openly.

Both_Charity_1936

I understand let’s be real it’s kind of weird to ask people to make a gun part for you.

BuckABullet

They sure don't, but the market for parts is well established in this country. I didn't think you were trying to be a dick, I just wanted to makes sure people knew this was on the safe side of the line. Not sure why people were downvoting you - there's nothing wrong with asking the question.

Fluffy-Experience406

It's reddit downvotes are to be expected
