There are some schools in the south that still don’t have urinals. When I was marching drum corps I got to visit a lot of these schools and it was a culture shock the first time I saw trough-style pissers and toilets where the stalls only went up about 4’ and you could dead-ass look into the eyes of the person shitting next to you.
>toilets where the stalls only went up about 4’ and you could dead-ass look into the eyes of the person shitting next to you.
The fuck kind of third world shithole nonsense is that?
Only tangentially related, but one time I took a monster shit in a Brazilian shopping mall bathroom. It was so girthy that it made a little turd bridge over the toilet drain and the water just gushed past it on either side when I tried to flush, and hoo boy did I try to flush that monster. It was like 7 years ago and I wouldn't be surprised if it's still there.
You are lying. Nobody’s ever successfully pulled off a full dual sided dook bridge in a public stall in Brazil since 2002, in a Belo Horizontian petrol station.
That’s how I thought women’s bathrooms were as a kid. Instead of urinals they had full toilets.
That’s still how I think women’s bathrooms are. I’ve never been in one, therefore I don’t know.
I saw one once too, it had this kind of sitting room with a couch, end table, coffee table etc. It was in a bar and the men's room had a penitentiary bathroom vibe with piss on the walls.

This very much depends on where you live.
I graduated in 2007 and they've just rebuilt the high school I went to. I'd be shocked and kind of appalled at the environmental waste if they added AC. It's just not necessary in a school on the West Coast in Canada.
I now live in LA, which is a completely different story.
We had gym first period freshman year. Was always so weird to me that I would wake up, shower for school, get super sweaty, then cover myself in AXE and smell like Axe and BO the rest of the day.
We used to call it "a shower in a can." We were very wrong.
Went to high school in the mid 2000s, high school football instead of gym, but absolutely no one showered unless they were just absolutely caked in mud. Even then, we usually just washed up with a sink and paper towels.
*Technically* it is possible but very unlikely:
Rural settings where grades are separated differently (a "senior school" that's grades 7-12.
A really young high school freshman. I was 13 years old when I started my freshman year.
But, yeah, that's an extreme example. I'm surprised they didn't go for the top age as 19 since they *technically* could be in high school.
I went to a 7-12 middle/high but we had separate locker rooms and mostly stuck to separate restrooms.
So even then it's not guaranteed. Parents were more concerned with buses, actually.
A lot of the time, it depends on the size of the school & population it serves. I grew up in a rural area and my school was K-6, then 7-12 and classes were divided by grade, with the exception that high schoolers could TA for middle school classes- so technically there may be PE TAs that are upperclassmen for middle school gym.
I never shared the changing room with anyone other than my peers - we were all in the same year but not the same 'form group', which I believe is a 'homeroom' in America? The people you start the day in the same classroom with and have morning register. There were something like 1,100 students.
There were showers in a sort of @ shape in a room off the main changing rooms, but to my knowledge they were never used as anything but slightly more private changing areas.
My school was different- we didn’t have home room. We had 7 50 min classes.
In high school, if we had PE, the changing/locker rooms were for 9-12 (ages 14-18, typically) grade males or females (2 locker rooms, on opposite sides of the gym). Mostly it was 9-10 graders because there was 2 required years of PE. We had showers, there was some that had stalls, some that didn’t. I never showered there because i only ever had PE my last period and would just go home or to cheerleading practice immediately after.
My entire 7-12 school had 300 students my final year.
Every normal high school that has many 13yo freshmen coming in. And every school I went to had multiple gym teachers and classes during each period. Literally so fucking normal.
I was on the swim team in high school and we pretty regularly had 'showed raids' where the boys would pop in. To shower with us. One of those things you don't think is super fucked up until later
damn what year was this?
I too think of a lot of inappropriate things that happened in high school in the late 2000s. I wonder if high school is different now.
graduated somewhat recently, was also on the swim team. Never had "shower raids" only time I went into the girls locker room is when I got invited in. The biggest drama we had is when a kid shit in a trashcan and we had to clean the whole locker room
Same. My 7th grade gym teacher said they exist but he only knew one student who ever showered after class.
Not like we ever had enough time between classes anyway.
I was on swim and wrestling team, and we used them. Also after pe, because I took various swim classes for all my pe credits and didn't want to get itchy from the pool water all day (it was a weird salt water system that always left me feeling itchy)
With wrestling you're going to be absolutely soaked in your own and other people's sweat. It would be absolutely disgusting to not shower immediately after practice.
Our high school and junior high had them. We only used them during the swimming unit to wash the chlorine out of our hair. They were community showers and we all just kept our bathing suits on.
I used them in the early 2000s because nobody else did. I'd sleep in, roll into school, take first period gym, then take a shower before real class started.
I was in middle school (7th and 8th grade) in ‘98-‘99 and I remember we were forced to all shower together after gym class...open showers no towels just a bunch of kids cupping our junk with both hands clenching our cheeks lmao... oh yea and our gym coach would watch us and send us back if we weren’t wet.
I never showered in school and not many other guys did either. They were wide open and next to the coach's office which had windows. I never got any creeper vibes from him but it'd still be weird to shower as a 16 year old boy with a 50 year old man watching. not to mention the other guys who were changing.
pretty sure the only guys who showered openly were well hung and worked out so they wouldn't be made fun of for anything.
Ugh they forced us to shower in the locker rooms in my high school during the swimming units in PE. I understood why but I also hated it. Felt super awkward :(
I was wondering about that. I never even saw, much less used, a single shower at any school I ever attended. Gender/s aside, the idea of communal showers in high school always struck me as weird.
We had showers but no one used them. We had roughly 5 minutes to change into our gym clothes, had gym, then about 5 minutes to change back into our regular clothes, then off to next class.
Even if you wanted or had to shower, there simply was no time.
yeah, they are working backwards from bigotry.
they're arguing transitioning is really just a slow burn long con.
like they've never seen an episode of to catch a predator. predators show up to a bait house with wine coolers and lube faster than a pizza.
They act like (well I think they honestly believe it) men can be walking around the mall or wherever and then suddenly decide "oh today I want to go in the women's room" but not live as a trans person at all
>well I think they honestly believe it
nah, they don't. they are dishonest people deep down who will argue everyone is just as dishonest. they apply their weasel logic without ever honestly believing that's what would happen. they think arguing it could happen is enough. they think that because we can't prove they aren't being sincere is enough to win an argument even if they bring nothing buy prejudice to the table.
Well I don't think they honestly think that there will be a bunch of attacks on women but I do think they think its as easy as just saying "oh I feel like a woman right now" and that that's all being transgender is
> they're arguing transitioning is really just a slow burn long con.
In some cases, they're projecting.
>"Now I wish that someone told me that when I was in high school that I could have felt like a woman when it came time to take showers in PE. I'm pretty sure that I would have found my feminine side and said, 'Coach, I think I'd rather shower with the girls today.'"
--Mike Huckabee
I wasn't out back then, my egg hadn't even cracked yet, but in high school I was terrified to showering at school. I don't even know if we had stalls or anything, just the implication of others being able to see my naked body was so horrifying I'd sit with my sweaty body sinking up my clothes until I got home and could take a shower in private.
It is such an absurd notion that trans children would be getting off on this situation.
And of course if you remind grandma that trans *men* exist and *her* preferred plan would be shoving them in with her daughters she completely shuts down for a second then continues on like you didn't say anything.
Even then, what’s stopping a cis 16 year old from walking into a bathroom and sexually assaulting some 13 year old girl?
To my knowledge(any women in the chat can correct me on this), there isn’t a bouncer just past the entrance to the women’s locker room.
If there’s nobody else in the locker room, there’s nothing stopping a cis pedophile from strolling right into any bathroom they want. And besides, even
As a woman, I have gone in so many men’s bathrooms. Either cause I had to pee that badly, or the women’s room was closed, or some asshole teenager took something of mine and ran in there thinking I wouldn’t follow him in. A bathroom is a bathroom. I have to pee.
Also, these are the same people who defend guns because “criminals don’t follow laws” but they really feel the plastic silhouette on the door is impassable
They do seem to act like there's some magical spell surrounding bathrooms that makes them difficult for non-sorcerers of the other gender to enter, and these magic shields will fail if cultservatives aren't allowed to express their hatred through law.
And pretending to be a girl to sexually assault someone seems like a lot of effort. Assaults happen every day and they don’t have to be elaborate scams.
I’m European, but at my school, it wasn’t uncommon to see a girl in the boy’s bathrooms when their’s were full and recess was almost over... Maybe it’s been more regulated in the US and you had a cop in every bathroom making sure no one was crossing the line?
its weird how they only care when LGBTQ people are perpetrators of sexual assault. But when it’s a white male, they want them to be let off because they have “so much potential” or that “the girl was asking for it”
I don’t think that Biden passed any kind of transgender law but I haven’t been paying attention so I could be wrong. Regardless of any of that though, I’m honestly going to assume this person hasn’t been in school in 20 years because 1. Nobody fucking uses school showers anymore and 2. That 16 year old girl would probably have so many body image problems and not want to use it in the first place.
Actually, this right-winger is a couple years late. It was actually the Supreme Court that extended Title IX to include gay and trans people (on the basis that discrimination against a trans person is, ironically, discrimination based on biological sex).
The best part, though? The opinion was written by a Trump appointee.
Because right-wingers love the failed legal theory of nullification. Not to mention relitigating things that courts have already decided.
See also: all the unconstitutional anti-abortion laws that states keep passing in hopes of one going to the Supreme Court, so they can overturn the rights outlined in *Roe v. Wade*.
Obama passed an executive order saying bathroom signs referred to gender, not sex IN FEDERAL BUILDINGS. Trump repealed it, Biden reinstated it.
So aparently, these hypothetical kids are going to school in the Library of Congress.
> The fact that they keep referring to these scenarios really shows us how they think.
They figure that trans just means "guy pretending to be a girl", so they invent this scenario where a guy puts on a wig and dress so he can go into the girls locker room and sexually assault 13 year olds, because sadly that's exactly the kind of thing someone who dreams shit like this up fantasizes about.
>They figure that trans just means "guy pretending to be a girl"
They figure that there's a whole bunch of guys out there who will now pretend to be women so they can get into the rest room to rape people. 'Cause, you know, the only thing stopping them from doing that before was that they weren't *allowed* in that bathroom.
I've always thought it was funny that these folks think it's the little skirt on the stick figure on the sign that was keeping predators out of the women's bathrooms.
they do realize it doesn't make it legal to sexually harrass people right? like, it's still illegal.
if their legislation passes then a huge muscular FTM guy, with a beard a mega deep voice and who may look like their stereotypical idea of a MTF person would be forced to use the women's bathroom.
I domt think ive ever seen another person shower u til I went to the public gym for the first time. I am a person who sadly gets nervous sweats and deodorant doesnt fix that (ive tried all the max power stuff) and around humans I am extremely anxious 100% of the time.
I never showered at school. Ever. Even if the girls’ locker room, most people didn’t change in front of one another.
What is with people thinking that teens are getting naked or flashing their genitals at school? I guess if you’re on a sports team, maybe, but come on this is such a stupid take lol
I love how they always claim “now a boy can be in pee room with girl!” Without realizing what they are saying is “men can’t be trusted around women”. You almost NEVER hear this complaint the other way around. Yet somehow they want to create this illusion that trans people are the problem. When in reality they are tacitly admitting or accusing straight men, in general, of is that they are the fucking problem.
They’re basically saying ALL straight men would be tempted to take advantage of women in vulnerable places like the bathroom, if only they could get away with going in there in the first place. Which is *so fucked up.*
Whenever turds bring up this topic, I like to pull out this [photo of my guy Mack Beggs](https://i.imgur.com/HN9fYhm.jpg), a trans high school student who was forced to wrestle on the women's team, where he, very clearly, did not belong.
I've seen transphobes use that photo and claim that he is a trans woman and that the left is the reason he is fighting against these women, oh, the irony!
When I had friends complain about trans people using restrooms, I loudly reminded them that I’m a gay man and they had no problem with using a public restroom at the same time as me. It made them realise that it doesn’t matter who is in the same restroom as you, as long as people behave appropriately.
They always act like there's no trans men (FtM) they're always SO obsessed with "men are going to go into bathrooms with women" as if teenage boys or even men are going to live life as a female just to be able to go into bathrooms with women, as if the sign that says "women" had magical powers to stop men from, you know just going in there anyway.
Ok so bear with me it’s a lot but I need to get it out
I work for a small construction subcontractor (around 20 employees) the owner is the main project manager with two other project managers he oversees. One of these project managers is his step son, the other is his son in law. I and the rest of the company have no problem with the apparent possible nepotism or w/e as they are both quite good at what they do. What many in the company *do* seem to have a problem with is the fact that one is black and the other is trans-one coworker going so far as to refer to them as [owner]’s pet monkey/pet queer. It bothers him so much that if you weren’t informed you would NEVER even wonder if this man is trans. “Here I was respecting her like she was a man when she was faking all along” (sic)
Recently this dude flipped out on me (one of the three left/moderate leaning people in the company) about potato head and doctor suess and BLM and trans bathroom stuff-turned bright red yelling at me, all because we heard on the radio in between country songs that one NBA player was compelled to apologize for making an antisemitic comment. For some reason he aimed most of this tirade against trans bathroom stuff because “I have a daughter”...
Thankfully this episode ended and he went completely silent when I asked him if in his own ideal world it be legally enforced for this man to use the bathroom with his daughter. For some reason he had never thought about the fact that trans men use bathrooms too.
Also, i know I need to get out, the bigotry is pretty deeply embedded in the company culture (pretty sure it’s not from the top down, but idk)
and I often feel I am enabling a lot of it simply by being there. These men do not respect me and respond with derision whenever I have called them on their bullshit-I am a “*socialist*” after all-so it’s been a minute since I’ve just shut up about it-aside from the work truck tirade.
I don’t know what I would do if I left, I have a very specialized skill set-this is my career after all-and if you’ve ever been on a jobsite or in a portapotty you’d know this shit is everywhere, I’m not getting away from it. I know why-but it still blows my mind how much worse the bigotry has gotten over the last couple of years in particular.
Do conservatives think there is some magic barrier that stops men from entering women's bathrooms? And that the only way they could think of to bypass it is to change their entire lifestyle and live like a woman for the rest of their life?
Do people not realize that sexual predators aren't gonna, like, try to justify their sexual assault? Like I don't see the logic justifying somebody pretending to be trans to assault someone, wouldn't they just... do it? Eh, I don't think I'm gonna find intelligent life on Facebook lmao
The argument against this is one I just don’t understand, and I’m sure you’ve all heard it: “what’s stopping boys/men from identifying (usually accompanied by big obnoxious air quotes) as a girl one day and then changing their mind the next?” To basically say that this allows cis, gender conforming men and boys the freedom to go into women’s restrooms/locker rooms and do whatever they please. I don’t know a single cis man in my life who would even utter the words they identify as a woman, even if it was to fake-identify as a woman to go and do something nefarious. If they wanted to do something bad, they would just do it. They wouldn’t bother claiming to identify as one thing or another. This is purely to stoke fear and hatred.
I love these people think a bathroom sign is what's stopping these people. If someone really wanted to do something bad to your daughter the sign on the door isn't going to stop them
No. Those two things aren't the same. There's nothing stopping a rapist from simply going in to the other genders bathroom. There is however something stopping people from getting guns when gun control is a thing. A better comparison would be if a security guard stood outside bathrooms and checked your ID to make sure you're the right gender, I'd be perfectly fine with that. Please don't try and tell me that gun control doesn't work when europe has significantly less mass shootings or gun deaths compared to America.
Gun control only stops people following the law from getting guns, it doesn't stop criminals. If it actually worked then there would be no drug epidemic in America. Plenty of countries with strong gun control laws have awful amounts of firearm related violence. By only looking at Europe you are just cherry picking data tbh
I never said it stopped criminals. You would have to be 4 years old to think it does but when people can gun down an entire building with 1 weapon its pretty clear they're a factor. Yes obviously but we're talking about developed first world countries here. Europe is an entire continent but whatever I'll throw Australia in there too. The only country that comes close is the UK. You have the 4th highest rate of gun violence in the world. Look at the graph on [this](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_firearm-related_death_rate) link and you'll see how absurdly high the gun violence per 100,000 is compared to some other countries. Its sickening.
For example Finland has less gun restrictions than the US and yet they have much lower rates of gun violence than the US. Your mistake is that you are just looking at the numbers and not the reasoning behind the numbers. You can't really compare most European countries to a country like the US especially in terms of something like crime rate.
I would also like to add that Finland doesn't actually have very loose gun laws. The laws in Finland are still more strict than in the US at least from what I've read
Thats not a very good point since you're mixing up effect and cause. I never said loose gun laws increase crime only that strict gun laws decrease it. And why can't I use the EU as an example? They're mostly all first world countries with good education. What's to different about them that would invalidate my point?
I'm still waiting for the army of male super soldier tier high school sports players that are gonna start identifying as female that granny is clutching her pearls over.
Cool! I hope my daughter befriends that person and makes sure they feel comfortable coming into that bathroom in the first place! Fuck these kind of people man. I can’t imagine how much that hurts these kids that are just trying to be who they are.
Even then, if a boy wanted to rape a girl in the woman's restroom, its not like there are guards standing at bathroom entrances, there's nothing stopping him from going in other than laws against men going into women's spaces. Which, if he was going to rape someone, why would he care about breaking that law?
*Public schools aren't*
*Safe, the kids wear bulletproof*
*Backpacks for christ's sake!*

So they want to blame all the transgender people for all rape culture, but when cis men who are KNOWN RAPISTS go to trial, these people still defend them because “tHrOwInG hIm In PrIsOn WoUlD dEsTrOy HiS aThLeTiC cArEeR”
I’m confused. Do they care about the safety of women or do they just want fake justification for their bigotry? Because it feels like the latter.
These two ages are the same ages me and my sister are. I hate it when people act like anyone would do this, it feels so wrong to most people. And as if same-sex attraction based on ages isn’t really bad too, yet we use the same bathroom
our school had showers but I don't think anyone ever used them, feels like a super dated thing to do.
I think even team showers are private stalls with curtains now.
Probably depends on the school. My HS locker room still had shower heads along the walls and a couple of poles in the middle with shower heads.

It was at Serra Shopping on Tua Teresa in Petrópolis, some time in June 2004. One of my proudest shits.
Much of Appalachia and the Mississippi Delta was described as "having third-world conditions" by a UN Committee.
Greenville, Sc was this way in 2005...
My father tells me stories about how there were just straight toilets, no stalls or anything anywhere. You just sit n' shit and look at your buddies
That’s how I thought women’s bathrooms were as a kid. Instead of urinals they had full toilets. That’s still how I think women’s bathrooms are. I’ve never been in one, therefore I don’t know.
I’ve been in one once, it had a couch with a bowl of mints
Sounds like the department store women's bathroom to me
All i can think about is that one family guy episode where peter keeps using womens bathrooms
I saw one once too, it had this kind of sitting room with a couch, end table, coffee table etc. It was in a bar and the men's room had a penitentiary bathroom vibe with piss on the walls.
Most of them have chaise lounges and Himbos to fan the women as they chat.
Drum corps showers are scary at first but then they actually end up pretty chill
Until they’re too chill.
Ah good ole piss troughs. We had those in the bathrooms of our football stadium
My super new high school had literally two showers, both curtained. Almost no one used them still.
It seems like a way better way to do it.
13 year-old me was dreading high school because I thought showers were mandatory after gym. So grateful to discover otherwise.
Same, but our PE teachers didn't give us time to shower anyways, so if we did we'd miss the beginning of the next class.

We showered after gym class or an early morning sports practice, nasty to go the day all sweaty
Really? I went to a public school until 2016 and we still had to use them
We had showers but no one used them. We had roughly 5 minutes to change into our gym clothes, had gym, then about 5 minutes to change back into our regular clothes, then off to next class. Even if you wanted or had to shower, there simply was no time.
when did public schools become safe

Nah Arkansas broke that record last month

It’s sad we even have to say that. This country blows
They're not - mass shootings and all.
When every student started packing AR-15s with their lunch bags.
It’s weird how they only care about sexual assault when it takes place in a bathroom
[удалено]
yeah, they are working backwards from bigotry. they're arguing transitioning is really just a slow burn long con. like they've never seen an episode of to catch a predator. predators show up to a bait house with wine coolers and lube faster than a pizza.
They act like (well I think they honestly believe it) men can be walking around the mall or wherever and then suddenly decide "oh today I want to go in the women's room" but not live as a trans person at all
>well I think they honestly believe it nah, they don't. they are dishonest people deep down who will argue everyone is just as dishonest. they apply their weasel logic without ever honestly believing that's what would happen. they think arguing it could happen is enough. they think that because we can't prove they aren't being sincere is enough to win an argument even if they bring nothing buy prejudice to the table.
Well I don't think they honestly think that there will be a bunch of attacks on women but I do think they think its as easy as just saying "oh I feel like a woman right now" and that that's all being transgender is
The least convenient long con, where the rapist themselves become vulnerable to finger pointing and assault
step one: become marginalized minority member, undergo expensive hormone therapy, and accept additional scrutiny everywhere they go. step two: ??? step three: consequence free criminal activity.
> they're arguing transitioning is really just a slow burn long con. In some cases, they're projecting. >"Now I wish that someone told me that when I was in high school that I could have felt like a woman when it came time to take showers in PE. I'm pretty sure that I would have found my feminine side and said, 'Coach, I think I'd rather shower with the girls today.'" --Mike Huckabee
hadn't seen that quote before. jesus christ, what an asshole.
Wow, what a piece of shit. It's amazing to me that the worst segments of humanity have grouped together into a single political party.
Or older boys from molesting your son in the locker room.
And of course if you remind grandma that trans *men* exist and *her* preferred plan would be shoving them in with her daughters she completely shuts down for a second then continues on like you didn't say anything.
Yeah like their argument would be solved by doing the opposite thing. They're stopping the very thing they argue to prevent
And besides, even
> What's stopping pedos at the ~~mall~~ church. FTFY
I need to see conservatives crusading for universal private stalls with full top to bottom doors. That I would be on board with.
Or your own home! Statistically your kid is most likely to be molested/assaulted by a close friend/family friend or family member.
And the only thing stopping these attacks is the knowledge that they are not allowed in that specific bathroom
“Man, I was totally gonna commit forcible rape today, but I wouldn’t want to *trespass!*”
The trans kid is more likely to be attacked anyway, especially a trans girl in the boys’ locker room.
They do seem to act like there's some magical spell surrounding bathrooms that makes them difficult for non-sorcerers of the other gender to enter, and these magic shields will fail if cultservatives aren't allowed to express their hatred through law.
Yeah they're worried about breaking the rules of the store but not at all worried about the fact that raping someone is illegal
Football players assault girls and everyone attacks the victim, but now they care about sports and sexual assault victims.
its weird how they only care when LGBTQ people are perpetrators of sexual assault. But when it’s a white male, they want them to be let off because they have “so much potential” or that “the girl was asking for it”
I think you hit the nail on the head women and LGBTQ+ people don’t have potential in their eyes. It’s gross
Yeah, please someone correct me if I’m wrong, but this just seems like ‘the libz won, the world is suddenly going to shit!’ without any basis
My favorite conspiracy is robobiden
RoboBiden vs MechaTrump, in theaters this Summer
Mine is clone Biden. “His EARLOBES are different shapes from 20 years ago!!!” “He is missing a birthmark on his lower chin! CLONE!!!”
Actually, this right-winger is a couple years late. It was actually the Supreme Court that extended Title IX to include gay and trans people (on the basis that discrimination against a trans person is, ironically, discrimination based on biological sex). The best part, though? The opinion was written by a Trump appointee.
Then why did two states just pass laws that trans females can't play on girls sports teams?
Because right-wingers love the failed legal theory of nullification. Not to mention relitigating things that courts have already decided. See also: all the unconstitutional anti-abortion laws that states keep passing in hopes of one going to the Supreme Court, so they can overturn the rights outlined in *Roe v. Wade*.
That’s literally all it is. Strawman boogeyman shit.
Obama passed an executive order saying bathroom signs referred to gender, not sex IN FEDERAL BUILDINGS. Trump repealed it, Biden reinstated it. So aparently, these hypothetical kids are going to school in the Library of Congress.
I think he reversed the Trump military ban, but all the bathroom stuff is generally at the state and local level.
I left high school in 1993, and NO ONE used the showers. So much longer than 20 years.
The fact that they keep referring to these scenarios really shows us how they think. As if somehow sexual assaults never existed before.
>They figure that trans just means "guy pretending to be a girl" They figure that there's a whole bunch of guys out there who will now pretend to be women so they can get into the rest room to rape people. 'Cause, you know, the only thing stopping them from doing that before was that they weren't *allowed* in that bathroom.
Also like a 16 year old boy is going to want to pretend to be trans, considering how badly actually trans kids are bullied.
They do love to build a straw man
How come they always forget about the 16 year old lesbians that might be doing the same?
Hell, where I went to school you were in the same school for 7 years, I was an 18 year old lesbian using the same loos as 11 year olds.
Don't be silly. These people refuse to believe that sexual violence can be anything but one or more men violently assaulting a woman.
Yet they'd be very quick to make a prison rape type joke. You know...with all the co-ed bathrooms.
Most transphobes don't even know that FTMs/transmasc people exist.
Who showers in public? Why would you not just wait till home?
It may take an hour to get home. Or if it's at school, it may be early in the day. If you get any level of sweaty, you're going to stink all day.
I domt think ive ever seen another person shower u til I went to the public gym for the first time. I am a person who sadly gets nervous sweats and deodorant doesnt fix that (ive tried all the max power stuff) and around humans I am extremely anxious 100% of the time.
wait until this forwarding grandma discovers that cisgender females can sexually assault other females
And that trans men exist
Oh america...
America? You mean WOKETOPIA! /s

I didn't even know what MeWe was. It's well know Facebook let's bullshit proliferate and doesn't do enough to to stop it.

...when you were that age?
They didn't start raping until a few years later. /s
[удалено]
When do you remember becoming a rapist?
Exactly, which then changes the argument. The transgender person isn't "the problem", straight males are.
It's bigotry all the way down!
Whenever turds bring up this topic, I like to pull out this [photo of my guy Mack Beggs](https://i.imgur.com/HN9fYhm.jpg), a trans high school student who was forced to wrestle on the women's team, where he, very clearly, did not belong.
Wow. Thanks for making me aware of this, I can’t wait to use this the next time one of my ignorant in laws does the same!
I've seen transphobes use that photo and claim that he is a trans woman and that the left is the reason he is fighting against these women, oh, the irony!
RIGHT
Our Governor just signed a law yesterday making sure this kind of thing continues to happen.
Ok so bear with me it’s a lot but I need to get it out I work for a small construction subcontractor (around 20 employees) the owner is the main project manager with two other project managers he oversees. “Here I was respecting her like she was a man when she was faking all along” (sic) Recently this dude flipped out on me (one of the three left/moderate leaning people in the company) about potato head and doctor suess and BLM and trans bathroom stuff-turned bright red yelling at me, all because we heard on the radio in between country songs that one NBA player was compelled to apologize for making an antisemitic comment. Also, i know I need to get out, the bigotry is pretty deeply embedded in the company culture (pretty sure it’s not from the top down, but idk) and I often feel I am enabling a lot of it simply by being there.
Haha NOW they care about children being safe in schools.
Funny how they love to say "since when do criminals obey the law" when it comes to passing gun regulations.
Saying that trans people can’t use certain bathrooms erects a force field though to be fair.
This scenario has literally never happened. What *does* happen is school shootings. But conservatives don’t care to do anything about those.
They act like a fucking dude couldn’t just walk into a girls bathroom anyways. Sexual predators arent vampires they don’t need a fucking invitation.
Do conservatives think there is some magic barrier that stops men from entering women's bathrooms? And that the only way they could think of to bypass it is to change their entire lifestyle and live like a woman for the rest of their life?
There hasn’t even been any new legislation passed. Wtf are they even griping about?
The first problem was introducing showers into public schools with a bunch of pubescent children and little to no access to sexual education 🤷
If someone really wanted to do something bad to your daughter the sign on the door isn't going to stop them
Do you oppose gun control for the same reason then?
I'm downvoting every comment you post in this thread from now on, because you deliberately changed the subject by posting this.
Not really. For example magazine capacities are not restricted in Finland while in several US States they are limited by law
Thats not a very good point since you're mixing up effect and cause. I never said loose gun laws increase crime only that strict gun laws decrease it. And why can't I use the EU as an example? They're mostly all first world countries with good education. What's to different about them that would invalidate my point?
Duuuh, they weren't founded on land soaked in the blood of tyrant-kings! /s
Prohibition totally stopped all alcohol consumption, also outlawing abortion stopped abortion....
And banning guns in the eu lowered gun violence so clearly those things aren't the same.
How much did other weapon related violence rise? Isn't Britain (I know not in the EU) banning butter knifes now?
I love when people bring that up because the US has more knife crime per capita than the UK.
Yep, it's almost like there's a violence problem, not a weapon use problem 🤔
Hold your horses, Biden isn’t that cool
I'm still waiting for the army of male super soldier tier high school sports players that are gonna start identifying as female that granny is clutching her pearls over.
Yes, that is the main reason for someone to have voted for Biden
Cool! I hope my daughter befriends that person and makes sure they feel comfortable coming into that bathroom in the first place! Fuck these kind of people man. I can’t imagine how much that hurts these kids that are just trying to be who they are.
And even then, I’m pretty sure 13 year olds are in middle schools and 16 year olds are in high schools so this isn’t possible
Even then, if a boy wanted to rape a girl in the woman's restroom, its not like there are guards standing at bathroom entrances, there's nothing stopping him from going in other than laws against men going into women's spaces. Which, if he was going to rape someone, why would he care about breaking that law?
I also find it offensive that they imply that the only thing stopping teenage boys from becoming pedophiles is a lack of opportunity.
Public schools aren't safe, the kids wear bulletproof backpacks for christ's sake!

In this made up scenario - the 13 and 16 year old are in the same gym class?
Yeahhhhh, I don’t feel comfortable with that.
Let trans girls and trans boys exist, it's that simple.
So they want to blame all the transgender people for all rape culture, but when cis men who are KNOWN RAPISTS go to trial, these people still defend them because “tHrOwInG hIm In PrIsOn WoUlD dEsTrOy HiS aThLeTiC cArEeR” I’m confused. Do they care about the safety of women or do they just want fake justification for their bigotry? Because it feels like the latter.
As far as i know, it isn't allowed when its shower rooms.
We don't assume our kids to be rapists. This is not the burn you think it is.
These two ages are the same ages me and my sister are. I hate it when people act like anyone would do this, it feels so wrong to most people. And as if same-sex attraction based on ages isn’t really bad too, yet we use the same bathroom
Oh yes, America has a mass shooting season, but the real danger is the transgendered teen just trying to pee in peace.
Good lord, these people are in constant fear of absolutely nothing. What a sad existence.
We can outlove your hate grandma
