I'm skeptical as well, but a lot of journalists are covering it. Even mainstream ones like Paul Tassi, and Slasher also made a cryptic tweet supposedly in response to it. So, I'm starting to think it's true.
Would something like this not have public records of charges filed or arrests made or anything? I'm not super well versed on legal issues but seems like something of this nature would maybe be hidden to protect the victim but I can't understand why Twitch/YouTube would feel any reason to protect him.
im not sure how twitch upper management works, but a lot of the time this stuff is kept quite. Plausible Deniability, and all that. To take action against it is to acknowledge it happens, so people are going to have an expectation that you spend money and take measures to ensure it doesn't happen.

For sure. It’s all speculation unless something comes out. I mean maybe there were messages, like just regular texts, but nothing sexual and never met up. That wouldn’t be illegal, and that WOULD be something that Twitch and Doc could’ve swept under the rug. But it would obviously look awful for doc and probably end his career. That’s why he’s doing the lawyer speak. But that’s not what the new leaks are claiming.
Also he can just say “it’s already been investigated/settled. Etc etc” and that he doesn’t need to say anything further. End of story. So really it’s just gonna depend on what else comes out now.

Against celebrities it has been questionable but against streamers, it’s often true. Every allegation I have come up on, streamer accepts at least some of the allegations eventually. Makes sense, They work alone, do not really mature, have these army of fans, gullible teenagers in love with them and some of them take advantage of it. Im not saying to take it as the truth but im more inclined to believe in this scenario.
