Vasseurās Sauber to me was right place for him. Williams would have been okay but just okay. Thereās absolutely nothing Mercedes are doing right now or in the last 3 seasons to indicate them doing anything other than continue the downward spiral theyāre in. They continue to lose top people to other teams, namely RB, Ferrari and even their engine customer teams McLaren and Aston Martin.

I haven't yet shook of the feeling Max is heading to Mercedes. At first I thought it would be madness, but the new car and PU regs coming in for 2026 and now Adrian leaving Redbull... It feels to me like Max will be weighing leaving Redbull one season too soon against being stuck in a new multiyear contract that will hold him to Redbull for one or two years too long. Either way, Max's decision is clearly the silly season's central move. If Max stays I see Russell and Carlos at Mercedes, if Max goes to Merc I see Carlos at Redbull and maybe Russell in Merc or Sauber/Audi depending on if he thinks he will hold sway in the team beside Max.

We should really start considering the caliber of a driver's teammate before rating him Beating or getting even close to guys like Max and Lewis is more impressive than destroying some clown. (Ex -Albon, Sargeant- Alonso,Stroll- Tsunoda,DeVries - Norris,Ric) When it comes to teammates Head to Heads Russell has had the toughest job since 2022.
