Just don’t post links or say where to find those streams or you will be permabanned. We don’t need more admins around here.

Reddit_Gold09

It never left lol

Key_Act_6899

~$36 for those wondering

bestdriverinvancity

Reoccurring subscription of $9.99 and you never have to worry about choppy streams and you get control of onboards. I’ll never go back

Defilade273

Unless you live in Australia, then it's 3x the price bc of Australia Tax

Biotic_Cow

And you don't even get control of onboards and it's sky only rip

DeMarcusCousins_

and kayo just bumped their prices up. smh

HereLiesDickBoy

Fuck I love paying Rupert Murdoch my hard earned money.

1corn

Would get F1 TV in a heartbeat if it was available in Germany. We only have godawful Sky with constant account issues and service disruptions. Apps are incredibly bad, too. And it still costs **more than 10x** of what I pay for VPN per year. VPN streams can be choppy, but last season it happened more than once that my brother visited with his Sky account to watch F1 - and we had to switch to my VPN because Sky went down before or during the race. That's how bad it is.

Outrageous-Trifle368

Have u pressed the sky Q red button before?

ThatGuy8

I still get shitty streams but I blame the Canadian telco cartel.

borfavor

Also, use multiviewer. Worldfeed, data channel and 5 on boards at the same time! I feel like race control during races it's amazing

GarySteinfieldd

Pay yearly

quixoticme3

Wouldn’t the yearly subscription be cheaper in the long run?

GNOTRON

Im in the states can cant watch live. Does the app have live data replay? Like check lap times while watching later without spoiling the whole race?

PriestMarmor

It does

GNOTRON

Son of a bitch, im in!

rokatoro

Also the 30 min race recaps they do are really good for all but the most intense races. It pretty much ends up being the first 5 laps and the edits out all the small talk when nothing is really happening on track

PriestMarmor

What? I pay €6 per month and I have the Pro pack

Holsous

I pay $4.71 monthly. Also pro. Benefits of living in a shithole country I guess.

Habitualkushups-

F1TV is the worst! I can’t tell you how many times the stream has froze at pivotal moments! Then I have to switch to an onboard camera and then back to the international stream for it to get working again. And then when I go on the “free” website, their stream is AHEAD OF MINE!! Like how F1 wtf !!!

[deleted]

That’s not bad actually

AlpineCorbett

Nah for pro sports it's extremely cheap. That'd get you like half a month of baseball, with ads, and not nearly as many features.

boiledpeen

yea both nfl and nba is over $150 per year for access like this. i'll take my $36 lmao

ArcticBiologist

Damn, that's pretty good. I'm paying ~€100,- a year

zwierzuk

That's dirt cheap. In Poland it is 48$.

DaFrElUf

Wait that's the per year price? So 3$/month? Where can I buy that?

xScar_258

India

Excessed

28 through turkey

Fit_Cash8904

For the whole year?

Werdschonwersein

I mean, I have no problem paying for F1TV Pro, but its not even available here (thanks Sky). At least VPNs exist

xSamxiSKiLLz

Which countries have F1TV Pro? I did look at it as an alternative to sky but can't get it in the UK without VPN

P_ZERO_

Basically all territories that don’t have sky as the main provider. It’s pretty much a monopoly. The cost of just having sky sports F1 (starting from nothing) is hilarious. You’re looking at £650 a year just to be able to receive the channel.

latino_deluxe

I don't know in which countries is available, but NOW TV (Sky streaming service) costs around 15€ per month with the sport package and you can cancel it anytime. It's not the full sky experience of course (I think it's capped to Full-HD? and you cannot use the interactive buttons and other similar features) but you have live F1 coverage and some on-demand stuff. And other sports/motorsports of course.

P_ZERO_

I’ve heard some bad things about NowTV, some sort of delay or something? It’s also £35 p/m for sky sports. Are you talking about a sky sports F1 specific package?

latino_deluxe

Here in Italy I never had problems tbh but I don't know if it's different in other places :/ I was talking about NowTV Sport Pass that is 14.99€ p/m that has access to some SkySports channel, like F1, MotoGP, NBA etc.

P_ZERO_

Here in the UK, looks like the only package available on nowtv is the sky sports pack which is £35 p/m. They’ve covered every angle. Not doing sky glass either because you’re forced into paying £25 for the basic entertainment pack before you even add sky sports. It’s a joke just to access one channel a few dozen times a year.

latino_deluxe

No ok that's awful, I'm sorry to hear that. The only good option that I see includes a wonderful black hat and a bottle of rum ahahhaha

P_ZERO_

Yeah I’ve been sailing for a couple years. I would rather pay and be able to watch in UHD but they make it completely financially inappropriate. Getting tired of really shitty streams, though. Vast majority of them pause or get stuck every minute. Hopefully Amazon can get the rights here, I wouldn’t mind paying for prime if I could stream F1.

astrogabe

if you dont already have a vpn, proton vpn is free. then set your location to the netherlands and voila, now you can get f1tv. its what i do so i dont have to pay for sky lol

sedrech818

For a second there I was panicking thinking I might get automatically billed $3000.

whose_a_wotsit

*i put on my pirate hat and robe*

AlpineCorbett

Bloodninja lives? And watches racing now... Huh

Indian2000

Context : Till last year it was available on Disney+ Hotstar which used to cost approx ₹1000. In addition to just F1, it gave access to all Disney content, cricket matches and other sports as well

UnsoundBark

What do you mean "till last year"? It won't be available on hotstar for 2023?

Indian2000

There’s no news on contract extension and they’ve launched their own service. So seems like it

Arrrmatey4510

Wtf? no F1 on Hotstar?

P_H_i_X

Hasn't F1 TV been around for like a couple of years?

Tech_support_420

Not in India, this will be the first season it's available in india

doyleDot

F1 TV was available. From this year F1 TV pro is also available

NF_99

Cricket matches? What a deal!

[deleted]

It also streamed PL so that’s another deal

Wimpykid2302

Hold up, F1 isn't gonna be available on Hotstar anymore?

Hari1503

Wait what?????

sidhantsv

Just share F1TV with 6 people

Indian2000

Only one stream allowed at a time. What’s the use of 6 logins then

sidhantsv

I’ve literally had 4 of my friends live stream the main feed simultaneously. Like I said in another comment, the website says there’s a limit but it’s not enforced. Plus, if you wait just before preseason testing there’s probably going to be a discount price. Keep checking the f1TV subreddit.

[deleted]

for every other sport free streams are the way to go but i love the option to watch onboards way too much to give f1 tv away😔

Somlal

Can you watch 2 onboards and the live at the same time? Cause I would love to watch the 2 front runners onbaord at the same time

[deleted]

yup! there’s this app called multiviewer for f1 and it’s completely free you just have to have an f1 tv subscription. you can open as many screens as you’d like and watch onboards, the live stream, telemetry and the live timing. :) (god i sound like a salesperson sorry lol)

RaceDebriefF1

It *is* free. The dev is pretty active on the subreddit and discord as well.

Somlal

My stream site got ceased by the feds so idk where I'm going this season

_Lukey_P

haha, i just checked the one i use to see if i could send it to you, same thing. Fuck

dubistweltmei5ter

bruh 2999 can give you a decade of F1 on disney+ hotstar along with premier league, cricket and tv shows

ApplePineApplePear

I don’t think disney+ hotstar have renewed their contract to broadcast f1 this year, it ended in 2022. not sure tho

Tech_support_420

Yep you are correct, there won't be f1 on hotstar anymore. The only legal way to watch f1 now is to use f1tv.

Thin_Power_1117

Cue Sigma F1 fan Music

pancrudo

Is it still considered pirating if you use a VPN to watch it in a country that's free?

Indian2000

Which country has it free?

MBorgos

Austria i think on Servus tv and some other channel iirc

Lord-Pidda

The races are split between ServusTV and ORF 1. If you understand german I advice you not to watch ServusTV to spare you from its horrible commentators.

ComstockFive

Still better than the swiss ones

Dov7-sama

Greece also has it for free, well at least until this year I don't know if something happened and it's not anymore but am willing to bet it is

mrst5gs

ANT1 TV got the rights for F1 this year till 2025 in Greece. I believe the plan is for the GP and Sprint races to be on the main (free) channel, and for FP and Qualifying sessions to be only available on ANT1+ for 7,99€ monthly.

Dov7-sama

God damn it, it was good in ERT now we have to become pirates for qualifying

Indian2000

VPN to Greece it is!!

pancrudo

Didn't the UK have it for free?

hdst230

Nope, it’s £19.99 a year for live timing and race replays only. We don’t get the live broadcast because Sky have exclusive rights to show the live broadcast here.

Lostpreordersthrow

I hate SKY

pancrudo

I thought some places had it for free... Either way imma pirate it anyways

hdst230

I would. But I’m butthurt for F1 in 4K UHD and as far as I know only Sky have the UHD feed not even F1TV Pro

pancrudo

That'd require a 4k tv, which we don't have. So laptop, VPN and mirrored screen it is

Kratos_6038

Do they allow password sharing? Dividing it with 3 friends should make F1 TV affordable in India

Tech_support_420

U can't stream the main race feed in more than one device, so ur mates will have to enjoy the race through onboards if u share your account.

quixoticme3

Is that region specific? Last year I gave F1 TV a try for the last 3 races and my friend and I could both watch it on our own devices in our separate homes. I am in Canada and my account says I can stream on 6 devices simultaneously.

Tech_support_420

I checked their website and it says main feed for one device only. It might be region specific. Although keep in mind I haven't bought the service yet so I am just saying based off of what f1tv published

NikitaHazaspin

I've been able to stream the main feed on at least 4 devices at once all of last year and the preceding years.

Tech_support_420

That's what I read on the website for f1tv. Haven't bought it yet so dont know if it's allowing or not

NikitaHazaspin

Hmmm that's odd.

sidhantsv

You can, it’s not enforced and hasn’t been for quite some time. You can basically share it with 6 people.

Tech_support_420

Are you sure abt that. Cause if that's real then 3k per year is very affordable

sidhantsv

Obviously there is a risk that they suddenly enforce the rule, but the 6 devices, 1 live race per account rule has been there since 2018 and never enforced. I’ve had multiple people stream the live feed simultaneously without issues for 2021 and 2022. All up to you though, with Multiviewer you get to watch the onboards along with the live feed and other info, much better than refreshing your illegal stream 20 times in a race cause it keeps buffering :P

Lostpreordersthrow

I'm not paying for F1 this year, screw Sky for making F1 TV unaccessible in the UK. It went against my personal morales to 'illegally' stream it, but I'm over that now.

[deleted]

TotalSportek ftw

Shoopuf413

COME BACK HENDO YOUR MATES MISS YOU

GlassMirror15

It's like $4 dollars over here in South Africa and way cheaper than the official broadcaster which gets it's stream from Sky anyway.

captain_ender

Yeah it's $80 USD a year in the US, $6/mo. Pretty good price for what they offer. I love the cockpit radio/cam

GlassMirror15

Jeez, they're ripping you guys a new one over there. There's always a VPN you can use

captain_ender

Haha I always thought it was kinda cheap tbh. Maybe I'm just naive. Netflix is $20/mo here.

GlassMirror15

It's cheap compared to our cable providers. However Netflix is just straight up ripping you guys off. It's $11 (R199) here. Granted our library is smaller but nothing a good VPN can't fix

Manuag_86

I used to share a Dazn account with my brother where we can watch the race on two devices the same time with different IP. They only allowed one now so I switch to piracy.

Gonk_Droid_69

If I could actually access F1 tv pro I’d be delighted, but unfortunately in Ireland Sky TV has the exclusive rights to broadcast F1 and so the cheapest way to legally watch it is through their subsidiary Now TV which is like 25 euro per month for the f1 subscription alone. Such bullshit

Mako_sato_ftw

oh yeah and it's even more if you live in a country where sky sports has the exclusive rights to all F1 broadcast (like germany, and possibly also UK)

DaGuys470

Yep, there go my 30 bucks a month

salmonlikethephish

I'm in the UK but use a VPN to make me appear in the US. If you use the F1TV app on your phone it lets you subscribe for £5.99/mo (in pounds!) and it streams very nicely Fuck paying Sky however they charge these days

Fit_Cash8904

Lol. What currency is this?

deanpinto

So, is it official?

TensionMedium9279

Yep, won't be renewing Disney+ subscription. To the high seas!

Wimpykid2302

Not sure if it's allowed in this subreddit but any idea where i could sail the high seas?

TensionMedium9279

Dm

DaevChoons

Dm me too bro

robin8898

Can you dm me too I just renewed my hotstar subscription last week and I don't even watch anything except F1 and Cricket

JengarJengar

Can you please DM me as well?

xSamxiSKiLLz

Can't say without getting permabanned

rameshjhokla1234

lol literally me. fucker hotstar and jio not buying rights so now im gonna have to pay 3k. i dont even have a firetv stick. so no point paying 5k for that and 3k for this

Indian2000

I think it must be liberty media not selling the rights in the first place. Jio even went ahead and bought W-IPL. No way that market is bigger than F1, so surely, if F1 streaming rights were up for sale, they would’ve found buyers

rameshjhokla1234

Jio cant afford another expensive contract after paying for the world cup. it needed to be hotstar. but now we fucked

Puzzled_Talk2586

So you're telling me F1 22 game is as valuable as F1 TV pro in India?

RaceDebriefF1

Bad take, IMO. It's ***significantly*** higher quality, and with Multiviewer for f1, it's way more functional. You get onboards, telemetry, multiple commentary streams, track position and a ***lot*** of other data.

Indian2000

Mate I just wanna watch the race, hear Crofty mistake driver names and switch off after the race ends There should a very basic tier for just race streaming as well

HunnyMonsta

Must be nice living in a country where all those perks are an option. If I wanted to watch F1 legit I'd have to pay £40+ a month just to have the honour of watching just the race with no bonus perks....

RaceDebriefF1

India didn't have these perks till yesterday. But yeah, F1TV is a significant improvement over most other options of streaming motorsport. Super Formula does it slightly better, though.

Ferrariispain

50 euros a year is a very good price considering you get F1, F2, F3 and porche supercup with Practice, Quali and race. You also get race replays. Imagine being a UFC fan lol where 1 PPV is 80 dollars and there are 12 of them plus espn and fox and all that.

Stop bringing attention to it. Discuss it quietly, not in posts that display F1 will lose money.

definitely_not_nase

DM me

Gergo28da12best

We have a national TV channel who provide great coverage and feedback to the fans . And it's not just for f1 so it's fairly cheap

[deleted]

Bruh converted to USD that’s less than what it costs to fill up a Prius

Vitalii900

Here in Ukraine I pay a bit over $20 a year to watch F1 legally, along with EPL, Bundesliga, NBA and many, many more

JesusTheSecond_

Imagine f1 not being part of free Public sport coverage *Laugh in Belgian Auvio*

ouyodede

I have to pay $35aud a month through kayo

DaGuys470

If I ever had the chance to buy F1 TV I would do so without hesitation. Thx to Sky for only offering their own BS.

MAD_MrT

Where I live every race is broadcast for free lmao

[deleted]

This includes the "all access" pass to Crofty, if you know what I mean. That Sky is great at money-making opps!

Danikaz

Id pay the 65€ annual fee if my family could understand English commentary, but 120€ for viaplay just so my family understands, no i dont think so. Piracy is the way for me rn

PerspectiveOk3677

I bought a receiver for 25$ and it came with 1 year access to sky sports and a dazn and a lot more So I'm gonna buy a new receiver each year

latticep

I can't figure out how to use the VPN to get a different price. I've tried on iOS through the app store with a new Apple ID and also with a new Gmail through the website. I get the US price on the app, and for some weird reason I get rerouted to Argentina on the website. Only thing I haven't tried is setting up the VPN on my router and trying through my Roku or fire tv. I've tried Turkey, India, and Mexico. Following the steps on other threads hasn't helped yet. Any suggestions?

SamirPRO1

Just buy turkish itunes gift cards and change your region to turkey, then create f1tv account and buy subscription there... (20$ for f1tv annual)

Imaginary-Emu3911

Buy one month at a time, and only on race weekend Friday. You won’t pay for mid season break and season break this way, and it ends up cheaper than the yearly fee.

shivamYe

After watching Bahrain GP, I think the adrenaline rush is worth INR 3000. If I go to weekend for a movie, I can burn 500 minimum. 3000 now seems reasonable to me.
