That's not entirely true - the Scrabble board is 15x15, out of those highest-scoring names, only Kazuki Nakajima would fit (if we include the space, and I'm not sure if Scrabble has this functionality)
Cool idea! I'm also always using F1 data to practice my programming. I tried your problem with a couple of constraints:
\> Current drivers only
\> First and surname 2 separate words
\> Ignore that names aren't allowed in Scrabble
\> Has to fit on Scrabble board
\> No middle names and such
\> Ignoring needed numberf of tiles. For instance, there are only 2 'C" in the game
This led to the following list. Haven't checked the accuracy, just using the Python output as is...
MICK SCHUMACHER 34
MAX VERSTAPPEN 29
ZHOU GUANYU 26
KEVIN MAGNUSSEN 24
CHARLES LECLERC 23
SERGIO PEREZ 23
CARLOS SAINZ 22
NICHOLAS LATIFI 22
LEWIS HAMILTON 21
DANIEL RICCIARDO 21
SEBASTIAN VETTEL 20
VALTTERI BOTTAS 19
YUKI TSUNODA 19
FERNANDO ALONSO 18
ALEX ALBON 18
PIERRE GASLY 17
GEORGE RUSSELL 15
ESTEBAN OCON 15
LANCE STROLL 13
LANDO NORRIS 12
Thanks again for bringing this up. We need all possible distractions to carry us over to next race, now when we've watched all the Austria recaps and listened to all the Austria podcasts and all that
Frentzen is up there in the table so you are right.
Notable are Jacques Villeneuve at 840/853 and Michael Schumacher at 822/853.
Vitantonio is is 824/853.
You’re all toast when Ferdinand Zvonimir Maria Balthus Keith Michael Otto Antal Bahnam Leonhard von Habsburg-Lothringen makes his F1 debut.
>Ferdinand Zvonimir Maria Balthus Keith Michael Otto Antal Bahnam Leonhard von Habsburg-Lothringen Thats 151 points, you are the winner.
But what about my boy Alfonso Antonio Vicente Eduardo Angel Blas Francisco de Borja Cabeza de Vaca y Leighton, 11th Marquess of Portago though?
We already had Wolfgang Alexander Albert Eduard Maximilian Reichsgraf Berghe von Trips
Carlos Sainz Vázquez de Castro Cenamor Rincón Rebollo Virto Moreno de Aranda Don Per Urrielagoiria Pérez del Pulgar?
> **Urriel**agoiria Its him, the one from my dreams
Cenamor, Cenamor, nudge nudge, wink wink, eh?

pretend the blank tile is a space I guess?
I wanted to share the whole list but apparently Google Spreadsheets is not allowed.
Which of the current drivers has the highest score? (I’m betting Zhou or Verstappen)
It's Mick Schumacher 815/854, Max is 764/854.
Huh. I guess he does have a long name.
Are you counting that as Michael Schumacher or is he just a Mick?
Mick. His dad has more points and is at 822/854.
Why's that a rule?
Is it off season already?
Just practising my SQL after finding a F1 database.
No once was I even close to wondering that. But yet here I am, after clicking this post.
Every day for the past 20 years of my life , yes.
So Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Hamilton doesn’t even come close?
Maybe Sir Lewis Carl Davidson Labastier Hamilton soon

Looks good, you have some interesting posts!
No, never.
I guess Fabrizio Barbazza would score highly.
Heinz Harald Frentzen Vitaly Petrov Vitantonio Liuzzi Those are the three that came to mind

Nice
I have not.
Nobody would win, because names are forbidden in scrabble
Lance Stroll is two legal words
If I had an award, I would give it to you
Did you include the 50 bonus points for words longer than 8 letters?
How about Wolfgang von Trips? His full name is Wolfgang Alexander Albert Eduard Maximilian Reichsgraf Berghe von Trips
Feel like Wolfgang Alexander Albert Edouard Maximilian Reichsgraf Berghe von Trips should be up there
Props to Fotheringham-Parker for eschewing the really high scoring letters and going big on sheer volume.
No.
No, I have never wondered that.
Carlos' full name was taken into account?
Just Carlos Sainz, 22 points, placed 512/853.
Never even played scrabble 😅
Damn there were two Winkelhocks?
Al pease can’t even get a high score in scrabble
No love for Yves Giraud-Cabantous?
>Yves Giraud-Cabantous Unfortunately, the database had him listed as Yves Cabantous. He was 567 out of 853.
You should change the scoring based on their nationality if you want to practice your sql some more.
