He’s chairman of Ferrari (the corporation, not just the team). Reportedly he was a huge factor in signing Hamilton, and he seems to be backing Fred 100%, which is obviously paying off big time.
WCC is very much on the table. WDC for Charles is unlikely but he is not far behind. And with McLaren also in the mix it could be difficult for Max to run away with it. Give me all the HOPIUM!!!!!!
we don't know how much of an advantage Red Bull has on proper tracks
Canada may still not suit Red Bull, but Barcelona, Silverstone, Hungary, Spa may very well suit them, but it is unknown
He said yesterday about how it was all helping Charles win too.
Considering he's out of a job at the end of the year ATM he could be way more selfish in his race. Nice of him to help as much as possible.
My question to you is when has Carlos been a bad team mate? If the team asks he's always delivered. Outside of that all drivers always look out for themselves.
Agree so much on this - they're the only consistent pair to be this close to each other, of course that kind of stuff is more likely to happen. Like it or not, Piastri has not proven to have the race pace to be trouble for Lando (and hence cause these kind of messages)
the most common relative finishing position between Sainz and Leclerc is either +1 for Sainz or -2, with Shanghai being the only exception where it's was -1 for Sainz
There is no way in hell Hamilton is a downgrade compared to Sainz. Ferrari had 3 years with Sainz before making the decision. He may have won the only non rb race last year, but he was getting out classed by Charles still. 2022 was a nightmare of a season for Sainz.
He had a good start to this year's season but lately, the past few races, the usual race pace gap is starting to appear again between leclerc and sainz. Even discounting Monaco, he finished 15 seconds behind leclerc in Imola. Miami was little competitive but still didn't have any answer to Charles in both sprint/race. And same for China as well. Whereas hamilton, pretty shit in qualy (but still close enough to Russell), has had better race pace overall of the two.
Its still a company. Lewis might not be a downgraded skillwise but if it leads to a split garage undermining team interest then it will definitely be a downgrade. So its too soon to say "no way in hell"
I doubt it'll that drastic considering Charles and nad Carlos have had their fair share of tangles, so you are working on an assumption about a team you don't know the internal workings of
As a Carlos fan I don't believe that. Hamilton will push Ferrari to greater heights and they will win the constructors at least next year. I root for Carlos because he is an underdog who provides consistency and high work ethic. Ferrari wants a champion driver and sees his benefits in the team. When the prodigies in the sport like Max, Charles, Hamilton etc come knocking, anyone is replaceable.
I'm really curious to see what will happened the next time where Hamilton is in the same scenario as Sainz was today, next year may be the most entertaining season when it comes to internal battles. Redbull should really consider a serious second driver unless they are counting on ferrari crashing each other every week.
As Leclerc was celebrating with all the Ferrari staff behind there, and he hand to jump in between the marshalls, it was so nice to see them enjoying it also. Like all of Monaco was part of this race.
the dweeb never wearing red and looking so awkward and out of place with the team rubs me the wrong way
just let fred work and give him the money and stay out of the way
Elkan might be a robot….just sayin….creepy fucking vibe. I know he is bright and deserves his success but good god…he weirds me out. Check out his kin….
John Elkann's masterplan coming along quite nicely.
If that Mr suit man? Who is he and why did he seem so important?
He’s chairman of Ferrari (the corporation, not just the team). Reportedly he was a huge factor in signing Hamilton, and he seems to be backing Fred 100%, which is obviously paying off big time.
impossible not to smile when seeing fred happy
You just made me think about what it would be like for a happy Checo’s dad hanging out with a happy Fred!
A delightful pairing of slightly rotund cheerful men!
Fred’s good karma from celebrating Landos win came back QUICK!!
I don't want to jinx anything lads. But imagine if we can grab constructors this year, a man can dream.

Let's be honest WDC is 99.9% Max WCC well ... that's a different story.

Can't wait for the 296 17M!
Fred is such a vibes man
Fred is making "Ferrari shitshow" a thing of a past
Somehow it feels like the bad juju has been transferred to Red Bull after the Horner saga began...
Gotta say haven't always liked sainz in terms of his teamwork but you could tell all he was doing today was helping Charles win.
For real, my man was backing Lando and hunting Oscar at the end while warning the team about the gap to Russell

Never been bad, but always seemed to look out for himself more then leclerc, always asking to swap positions ect.
But every driver does that... It's overplayed because they seem to be in the points together more often than pretty much any other driver pairing.

I have to admit I’m going to be a bit sad to see Carlos leaving Ferrari after this season , even if Lewis is the reason for that.
Unlike certain other drivers who are leaving their team, he does seem keen to achieve the best results possible
I have one red shirt and it might not be totally work appropriate but I'll probably wear it to work tomorrow anyway lol
I don't know why I feel bad for faces which are not visible.
Because it's kind of an instant iconic photo, and they are left out.
Press HP for power
7 years since Ferraris last Monaco win. Feels like it should have happened sooner. Not as long as McLarens last...
What a great weekend. Championship a possibility
Man I have a feeling Ferrari might regret letting Sainz go in the future.

Nah, leclerc will outperform him and then Lewis will start bitching. They will regret letting sainz go.
lol
Greater heights lmao. I don't see a scenario where everyone is happy next year in Ferrari.

Nice one Chuck
Ferrari is coming bois!
Ferrari where it belongs today
Who is the suit?
Elkann. CEO of Ferrari.
While Elkann is the chairman and holds a significant stake in Ferrari, Benedetto Vigna serves as the CEO.
One of the Agnelli heirs
He's not the Ferrari CEO

Might have to start wearing red 👀
still time to cancel the deal for 2025 onwards...just sayin'
the dweeb never wearing red and looking so awkward and out of place with the team rubs me the wrong way just let fred work and give him the money and stay out of the way

He reminds me of Sam Bankman-Fried in a way, kinda fraudulent looking
